Austin’s Salon & Day Spa

There are many reasons to go to Austin’s; there’s the warm, welcoming, stylish atmosphere, the promotions, contests, and the reasonably priced variety of unisex services. and then there’s the owner, Bonnie. I find her to be a dynamic, skilled, and friendly stylist.
On a VERY personal note, through the error of crash dieting I found my hair shedding and thinning out considerably in this past year. It is recovering nicely thank Jeebus. If you require any sort of private attention, not only does Bonnie have a private room, but she is a wealth of knowledge regarding the science of hair growth, and offers restorative services.
I feel one million times better after having gone there today. After a simple misunderstanding reg. an appointment time a while ago, I am very happy to frequent this salon once again.

I went to Austin’s for about 10 years until I moved out of the area. I always found Bonnie to be one of the most professional, friendly and accomodating hair stylists in the business. Recently I came into town to attend a funeral and Bonnie last minute rearranged her schedule to accomodate me. She made me feel like I had never moved away and we picked up where we had left off and she did a great job as always! Great neighborhood salon. Wish I had an Austin’s here in DC!
