I’ve been going to Dee for my hair as long as I’ve lived in Providence. I’ve moved with her from a few salons to her home, and now Bobby Pins where she just recently became owner. I also have to say, this is my favorite of the salons she’s worked in because it’s small, quaint, quiet, and right next door to my favorite cupcake shop. What I like best about Dee’s style is that her cuts grow out really nicely. I hate when you get a great cut, and a week later, it looks like garbage. I’ve honestly gone months without making another appointment to let my hair grow out and will still get compliments on my cut. She doesn’t try to push you into anything, color or product, either. If she makes a suggestion, it’s genuine. She really knows her stuff and she wants her clients for the long haul. If you’re looking for a great stylist, go to Bobby Pins.

I have not had my hair cut here. I did stop in not too long ago upon seeing an Aveda sign outside. They carry the full line of Aveda products! The gals were super nice and helpful. The shop was very clean and well put together. If I hadn’t already found a place to get my haircut, I would head here and give them a try.

The absolute only place I would get my hair done! I’ve been to my fair share of bad salons and this is by far one not one of them. Bobby Pins has a peaceful and tranquil spa-like setting that will have you feeling relaxed from the moment you walk in. Molly is a talented colorist that is attentive and always make sure you look your best when you leave her doors. I have been going since the salon first opened and have never left dissatisfied. My hair has never looked better thanks to Molly!

I love this salon! Molly does such a great job with my hair – she knows just how to cut it to get great shape with low maintenance(and I have sort of a weird mix of textures in my hair, so that’s not easy). Even a basic haircut starts with a relaxing massage, and I always leave feeling great and looking even better! Highly recommended.

Bobby Pins is a great little Aveda salon in Pawtuxet Village. It’s owned by a very friendly, accommodating woman named Molly who has one or two staff members that help her out on occasion. The Salon only has two chairs so you’ll never feel crowded out. Molly plays a great selection of Pandora music and always offers tea/coffee/water. Just like other Aveda salons, you get the nice perks of a hand-massage while your hair is setting. Molly also carries a full range of Aveda products so you can sample the items and purchase whatever you need. The prices are very reasonable. You need to make appointments in advance because of the small staff. Wonderful place to get your hair done!
