This place is good when you have absolutely no other option. Don’t get me wrong, the interior is comfortable and appealing, and the dry cleaning comes out neatly pressed — but it’s the customer service and policy that is lacking. I’ve been here two separate times with the same dilemma both times: I could not find a dry cleaning service I felt comfortable handling my clothes. I’m attracted to the Unilocal reviews and the atmosphere of the shop. I drop my clothes off, and they offer same-​day service to be picked up at 5:30 pm. So far, so good. I arrive at 5:30, and then they tell me my clothes have not arrived. Excuse me? Both times they attempt to explain to me that they «are the last stop on the truck’s route… and your clothes should be here any minute». If your business knows that they are the last stop on the route, and that it rarely comes it at 5:30, advertise 6:00 pm pick up time. If your customers bring up the fact, don’t counter with «didn’t the woman tell you it could be a little later?». Poor customer service will prevent me from coming back to this location.
