$ 15.00 for a watch battery that went dead in just 4 months. I wouldn’t bring a Timex here, let alone a Rolex.

Such a beautiful store and amazing staff!!! I had a bunch of questions and they took the time to answer each one and explain everything. While I was there I had one of my watches work on the Fred did an amazing job at it!!! Thank you so much for helping me out, I will defiantly be back!!!

Fred is not friendly what-​soever. Yes he knows what is going on and how to fix watches, but always puts the blame on the customer for «wasting his time» and how he «has a lot of things to do». It is not the customer’s fault that he cannot manage his own time, but when the customer gets a service, he expects that such repairmen will put in the 100% effort.

Our recent visit was to have an old family watch reconditioned. All I can say is. .. WOW! It is like new, like new new.
Gets better. .. While we were there, we noticed some beautiful jewelry in the case. The staff (super friendly by the way), was so excited to show it to us. Ended up buying a couple of pieces too :)

I recently took my Tag Watch to Delman for repair. It came suggested by a friend of mine, who had their Rolex repaired at the new shop on Oaklawn Ave. I couldn’t have been more impressed with the service received.
When I stopped in on my way home from work one day, I was greeted by Elena. She was kind and offered me assistance immediately. I felt comfortable and at ease, unlike I have in past experiences in larger scale jewelers or repair shops. She offered me a very fair price to polish and clean the watch, as well as replace the battery. The shop itself is impressive and beautifully designed. I couldn’t help to window shop while chatting with Elena.
On my return to Delman Watch to pick up my watch, as a surprise for his birthday, I brought my husband’s Movado for the same service. This time, I spoke with Fred, who was just as courteous and professional.
Both my husband and I were extremely pleased with the service received through and through. Delman Watch’s trustworthy service comes highly recommended for all of your watch repair needs!

Recently I was in Cranston for the holidays, visiting my brother and his family — being an architect, I’ve been in a lot of different scenarios that aren’t ideal for a quality timepiece. That being said, I admit I didn’t even see it coming when my 10 year-​old nephew took my favorite Tag Heuer from my bedside table. When I found it next, let’s just say it was pretty clear I would need someone who knew what they were doing to take a look at it.
My brother suggested I try Delman Watch — he hadn’t been there personally, but he had mentioned he heard from a few different people that they came highly recommended. Upon first entering the store, I was immediately impressed by how upscale it was — everything felt very high quality, and it was clear a lot of effort went into designing it. I was also quite impressed that both store-​owners were present in the store. It soon became quite clear to me that Mr. Delman was an artisan, the sort of expert in his trade of which there are very few left. I immediately felt very comfortable trusting them with my Tag.
Between the excellent customer service — a genuinely delightful woman made conversation with me and gave me a tour of the store — all I could think about when I left the store was what a shame it was that such professional and splendid service did not exist closer to where I lived. Delman Watch comes highly recommended from me, and I’ve already made plans to make that my first stop for my brother’s birthday gift (a Tag, I think) when I return to the area in a few months.
Don’t bother with anyone else, the folks at Delman Watch know exactly what they are doing!

Ten years ago I had my Rolex tuned up/​repaired in Cumberland RI for $ 250 by a small jeweler. It had a little moisture in the Crystal. To make a long story short a month later the watch had a lot of moisture, and it cost me $ 800 at Rolex USA for a repair with the works, new face, hands, etc. The Jeweler in Cumberland would not honor the repair, claimed he had sent it to his Rolex guy. Then I had it tuned again 4 – 5 years ago at Rolex USA. Now today it’s running intermittently so I noticed a Rolex repair shop in Cranston, RI advertising its services. So I stopped in, Fred Delman Watch Co. He asked when it had last been serviced, I said five years ago. He opened the back so he could give an estimate and low and behold he said «I serviced this watch in 2003, here are my markings!» He is the shop that caused an $ 800 repair for me. So three days later (today) I called to get an estimate, he said $ 250.
Then I explained what happened with «HIS» repair ten years ago, and he back peddled saying he did not repair it then, and I reminded him he stated so himself. Then he got exasperated and mad at me saying he did not repair it. Incidentally I went after the jeweler in 2003 in small claims but it was the wrong court. It was not worth hiring an attorney. Can you imagine, both of these jewelers told me I should no immerse my Rolex in water??? This is an oyster case and I’ve had this watch for almost 30 years now. And I have dived in 100 feet of water with it on. It is rated to 360 feet, or even more.
It took a while for it to sink in on what I was telling him, and I asked for a two year warranty like Rolex USA, where he only offers one year. He said no. For a guy who brags he is so good that Rolex sends watches to him for repair, he was not prepared to stand behind his work. I’m sure he must not use authentic Rolex parts and cannot pressurize the watch properly, otherwise why would it leak? I was hoping for an apology (he seems to remember the incident 10 years ago), a better warranty and an assurance that the watch would be like new when returned. But he was not prepared to stand by his work and refused to work on it. This says a lot. In his case I would not work on my watch as well, for a customer who insists on «proper» service.
Fred immediately said to me, «come pickup your watch I am not going to repair it after you accused me of causing $ 800 in damages. And you know what, I was not going to let him repair it anyway after the shoddy repair/​service he did. I’d rather pay $ 600 to Rolex! I often wondered if I would find the guy who almost ruined my watch.
As a Rolex owner I would not give my Rolex to Fred for repair, and you should not either. This guy is not an authorized Rolex repair facility. He acted unprofessional, seems unaccountable and displayed no integrity! And I will also tell the jeweler at the Emerald Square mall in South Attleboro, Ma who recommended Fred Delman to me as well. I will tell him to check his three Rolex’s by placing them in water for a few days!

This is how it should be returned after service pure and simple. This so called «proclaimed» Swiss trained watch guy from the former soviet Union appears to not know what he is talking about. You meet all kinds in life. He said my Rolex was not waterproof…
Update: I just got my Rolex watch back from Shawmut Jewelry in Boston, jewelry district/​building, referred by a watch collector in Back Bay. It is immaculate and performs as promised. They told be of course its waterproof, it’s an oyster case! Shawmut 333 Washington St Ste 421B Boston.
Remarkable, before my review there were no others for all the years Delman has been in business… funny? Now they are coming out of the woodwork, all 5 stars! But an former Delman customer just contacted me and said Delman is using friends and family to post positive reviews to offset mine
