Fine Time

I can’t give a good enough review for this place! I had a great experience– brought in a Seiko watch with a broken wristband. Richard told me that there was a piece missing from the wristband, and warned that he may need to order a new piece from the company, but offered to look in a bag of spare pieces to see if there might be a match. He warned me that it was unlikely he would find one– but he did! He fixed the wristband right then and there in about 5 minutes, and even resized the band because it did not fit quite right. He did all of this for only $ 10, and genuinely seemed happy to help me! Great place, with great service.

Needed a watch strap repaired along with a new battery and couldn’t have been more pleased to find this shop! We were in and out in less than ten minutes. What a fabulous little place :)

Richard is a class act! I stopped in for a quick watch resize and he had me out the door in 5 minutes. Fast, friendly, and an expert at what he does.
Before heading to Fine Time, I took my watch to get resized at a different place. They butchered my brand new watch. The woman claimed the watch was defected, and pins were literally falling out of the band as I took it out of the store.
Richard at Fine Time took one look at it and commented something along the lines of, «the person who worked on this watch was an idiot.» He couldn’t have been more right. They’d put all of the pins in backward! In about 5 minutes Richard had fixed the previous person’s blunders and sized the watch perfectly. And to top it all off, he told me I didn’t have to pay because of «all I’d been through already» with the watch. What a guy!
I don’t live in the area (or even the state — was stopping through for a wedding), but if I did Fine Time would be my first (and only) stop for all matters concerning my watch!

Great service on my repair which wasn’t even originally purchased there! Richard figured out very quick my consignment watch was missing a screw and added one within minutes!

I took my classic Mickey watch to another watch repair place who quoted an outrageous repair price without even opening the back. The gentleman at fine time took the time to examine the watch, find out ht it needed and repair it reasonably and quickly. He was extremely professional and knew his stuff! This is the place to go if you need a watch repair!

Great service, quick and really knows his stuff, plus great prices. From minor repairs to more complex don’t look further!

I needed a new watch band and two watches adjusted. Needed links added to one and links taken out of a ceramic watch which can be difficult. Richard Sokoll was great, took his time and made sure all was good and this is with two people waiting. Great service.

The gentleman who removed some links from a new watch and replaced a battery on an existing watch was very polite and efficient. I was in and out in 10 minutes and the cost was very reasonable. This is my jeweler to go to from now on.

Walked in and out in ten minutes. I was very pleased with the quick and friendly service. I got 3 watch batteries replaced for $ 25. I will be returning for any future watch repair/​service I need.

In efforts to check a few things off my list, I called Fine Time at 5:00 to see if they could get me in for a quick watch resizing. They’re open until 5:45. I arrived at 5:40 and the owner still serviced me. Taking out a few pesky links to start with and more as I figured out the ideal size for my wrist. I even brought out an old Anne Klein I hadn’t worn in years because the battery was dead. He had a new one in within seconds. $ 15 for both. Done and done.

Wow. So, I happened to be in the area and my watch strap had come loose. I called to make sure they were open after I «googled» watch repair shops in the area. I ran in and the man who helped me came over right away… pulled out his repair tools immediately and replaced a pin at no charge. I had not bought the watch from him, but he was very professional, courteous, helpful and provided great customer service. If ever you are looking for a watch or watch repair, Fine Time is your place! I know I’ll go back!
