Horrible customer service! The owner was«not available» to talk about my concern, nor would they take my number to have him call about my concern. So sad this is the ONLY place to do business. After 9 years for my child and 10 years for myself, one would think they would take back a return that still has a tag on after the thousands we have put into their company!

Besides being overpriced they have terrible customer service– the customer HAS to use them so they do not care about your satisfaction. I order online all the time because(much like anyone who actually buys anything from Donnelly’s) I have to order required school uniforms. I ordered youth sizes and I was sent adult, they were huge. My packing slip said youth as well as my online order I had placed. I called the store, about their mistake, and was told I would have to go there to return the wrong items, and get the correct ones, or I had to pay to ship it back to them and also pay the shipping for a reorder(of the youth items I had actually ordered in the first place). Because I was unable to get to the store in time to get the much needed uniform pieces, I paid over $ 20 more to(rectify their error) and get the right items. In a side note, although I haven’t been to the Cranston store, I have heard many horror stories about the wait time and the treatment, from fellow parents. To spend the money one does at their store, and to be treated this way, is disgraceful.

This is a monopoly for uniform purchasing. Is this why the customer waiting hours isn’t important to the owner of this store? I feel for the under staffed employees doing their best to handle all the agitated customers but this is ridiculous. Over 2 hours to purchase 3 Polo shirts! Outrageous and poor management by this business owner. It would also be a zero if allowed.

I’d give zero if I could. My gf ordered online accidentally picked ship to store. You have to wait in line when you walk in to get a ticket(like the DMV) mind you I’m already paid, just picking up, they tell me it’s a hour wait!!! An hour wait to pick up something that’s prepaid & waiting for me!!! How the hell does that make sense!!! Avoid this place at all costs!!!

This place seriously needs to revise their service operation. I had to return two items ordered through my child’s school. Knowing the place would be a madhouse in August and September, I waited until today(October) to make the the return. While it was not terribly busy today, I had to take a number and wait as if I was making a purchase. It took over half an hour to simply return two items. Having had to deal with them for going on 11 years, I actually felt like I was getting out easy in only half an hour. There has to be a simpler way.

Is there a method to this madness? No transactions at the register until you take a number and wait?! So say you come in to do a return. You check in at the register and still have to take a number and wait. Totally wacky. This is set up just waiting for someone to fill this void of customer service.

horrible customer Service who act and make it seems like your bothering them when you go there. be prepared to wait because they never seem to have enough people working there.
