This place was great. Lots of vegetarian options. Veggie pad Thai was on point. My friend also loved his phở.

This place was great for my family. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. The food was excellent, along with the Thai Tea. No complaints from us.

HON’s is my go to for PHO in RI, it’s not the best but certainly not the worst, the fresh spring rolls are better than most. I only order PHO so I can’t speak to the rest of the menu but if you look around most people are eating PHO. HON’s is what it is, a good local spot with good noodle soup, stick to the PHO and spring rolls and you’ll be happy. Be sure to add hoisin and sriracha to the broth, makes all the difference.

We ordered dumplings, which were fine. Chicken Lo-mein which was mediocre, a few slices of chicken and very little sauce. But the biggest disappointment was the Triple seafood delight, it has lot’s of over cooked broccoli some other soggy veggies 3 small shrimp, 2 bay scallops and 4 thin slices of squid whic h was too rubbery to eat. I was really looking forward to it. Also order Hon’s wings that were nothing special the total was $ 48.+ Never again

My husband first introduced me to Phở this past December. I must say at first I was not into it, I believe it was my choice of meatballs that turned me off, also I really wanted to eat Chinese food that day and he was not having it. Fast forward a few months, I promised I would give Phở another try, boy I am glad I did. Now we find ourselves in Han’s house of noodles. This place is the closest Vietnamese restaurant to us and we are happy we found this gem. We love it, it’s our new go to for Phở. Ok now for the actual review, we have the Vietnamese egg roles as an appetizer bc I think spring rolls are gross. The egg roles are DELICIOUS, I wish they gave you more then 3 or that they where bigger but either way glad I gave them a try the first time. As I mentioned above I do not enjoy the meatballs on my phở so I get #27 which is flank and steak. I must say I love it, the broth has great flavor. A large is so filling with a good amount of noodles and meat. I have also tried their bubble tea and my husband their Vietnamese coffee. The Tea was alright and my husband claims he did not like the coffee. The staff is nice, attentive, fast and efficient. The restaurant looks a bit skeptical from the outside but once you go in everything is very clean. Everything is simple and casual with two dinning areas with flat screen tv’s.

Average, but I’d come back. Since I have to travel to Cranston for my Asian groceries, we found this place to satisfy our lunch cravings. Although the menu looks vast(Chinese and Vietnamese dishes), I’ve had better quality. The Phở is average at best, towards the bland side. When I’ve had Phở at other places, is keep drinking the soup after the noodles are gone. No such urge here. The Vietnamese spring rolls look and taste like what you’d find in an Asian market freezer aisle. You do get 3 to an order. But, as I said in the beginning, I’d come back. This is because I have to do my Asian grocery shopping out this way so it’s a good place for lunch and, I’m interested to try the other items available on the menu not available at my local Phở restaurant in Newport. If you’re in Newport, Sunrise Vietnamese has better phở and egg rolls.

Stopped in for some phở. The soup was lacking flavor and amount of meat especially for the large size bowl. Will think twice before coming next time.

I’m a traveler, therefore, I rely heavily on Unilocal and Google ratings when it comes to foods. I was excited to try out this place since it has such good reviews. I ordered seafood«banh canh» which is thick noodles soup, but I was disappointed. This soup is not hard to make if you are a noodle soup house; add noodles, seafood, fried onions, green onion and cilantro to your good broth, then it should be great. But this bowl of noodles came out looking like a bowl of cornstarch, thick and unattractive. I decided to keep an open mind anyway, but when I actually tried it, it was the worst I have ever had, and the seafood was not fresh and very fishy. I would never go back there again and will not recommend anyone to go there.

I love their grilled pork chops. The best! And their soup is out of this world. Recommend that to anyone going there. The atmosphere there is good too. If you want to sit and chill.

Never had a bad dish. Love the phở and the thit nuong, and so does my 2 year old son, and he’s picky! I order from them several times a month.

This is definitely my go-to for some amaaaazing phở! I come here regularly and the staff almost always remembers what my boyfriend and I order! They are extremely polite and attentive and always tweak the food you want to your satisfaction. It gets pretty quiet on certain days, but on weekends — they get pretty bumpin’. They always manage to take care of their customers regardless of how busy they are though. Always came here when I was younger, and I will continue doing so as I grow older!

Great, friendly, reliable service. We good here weekly and the food is always good. The phở is light and delicious, and I’ve eaten at a lot of phở places. Would defiantly recommend this place for anyone who is looking for a restaurant with a low profile but with a family atmosphere.

I wasn’t feeling well and had a stuffy nose. My husband recommended a bowl of phở to clear my sinuses. It was like magic! I got the steak phở lunch special with the spring roll. So filling and delicious!

I hate to write this review in such a negative fashion, but my experience here was beyond awful, so I can’t hold back. How people can say this is the best Phở they have ever had is mind boggling to me. Ok, let’s do this. Décor and Atmosphere: F This place is ran down and provides zero warmth when it comes to atmosphere. Service: D We sat down at a dirty table and it didn’t get cleaned up for about 10 minutes. It took another 10 to get a drink and get our order in. The food came 20 minutes later and trying to find someone for soy sauce was a chore. The servers were friendly and polite so I bumped this grade to a D. Food: F We ordered Vietnamese egg rolls, dried out barely any filling. My wife ordered a simple beef Phở and I ordered the #26 specialty spicy Phở. My lord, broth with no flavor, the meat was almost nonexistent, pieces of overcooked tripe that was like rubber. My wife is pouring soy sauce into the Phở for some kind of flavor. My plate had a pile of tripe cartilage that I had to spit out on the side of it in a napkin. Calling the food awful would be a compliment. Yuck!!! Value: A All of the dishes cost under 10 bucks so I can’t complain about the price, but who wants to save money eating practically inedible food? There are so many other places around that make Phở soooo much better. Beware and if you like this place be honest. It really just isn’t very good. Sorry

I love the Phở here! Very flavorful broth, though not the most complex I have had it is still delicious! Large portions, very quick and wonderful service. I came during my lunch break expecting it to take much longer but was pleasantly surprised to have my meal in less than 10 minutes. If you love Phở and you’re in the area, give Hon’s a try!

Stopped here one day for lunch, got my co-workers hooked, and now I’m hoping to make the hubby a fan. I absolutely LOVE the Phở here. When you get take– out, they keep everything separate: broth, basil, protein, veggies, bean sprouts… Of course, don’t forget the chili paste and hot oil. Yummmmmmm tonight I’m getting the rare steak and meatball Phở, but my usual is the shrimp and tofu. Whatever your flavor, you can’t go wrong here.

I am a bit bias. I enjoy almost all Phở. The broth was very tasty but there wasn’t much meat. The interior could use some heavy duty elbow grease. The waiter was super nice and it’s fairly inexpensive. I’d come back but it wouldn’t be my first choice.

Great little authentic Vietnamese restaurant. Very simple casual interior with booth & large table seating. There are two dining areas with Flat screen tv’s in each room. I ordered the Vietnamese Coffee. It was very good & it came with shaved ice which I LIV! (I actually had 2 bc I was pretty tired from the week). I decided to try the Crispy Chicken wings. These were hot out of the Kitchen too & delicious. Perfectly crispy & flavorful. It comes with this pineapple apple sauce dipping sauce. I also ordered the Grilled Pork Chops with Fried Rice.(Same order from the other day at 4 Seasons LOL). It was again, hot & fresh from the Kitchen. Perfectly grilled with a fish sauce marinade. Fried Rice was simple but also great. This place to me is more of an real authentic Vietnamese restaurant bc the interior & vibe is much more casual. The Wait Staff were nice, friendly, fast, & efficient. DEFINITELYRECOMMENDED :) ENJOY!
