In my opinion this is one of the toughest business to be in. Think for a moment, hopefully you don’t need their services to often. Dealing with a death in the family is part of life but extremely difficult for most families.
Now imagine having to deal with a families sorrow 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, 52 weeks a year. You may not realize it but a funeral director is on call in Cranston and Narragansett 24 hours a day.
It is amazing how well they handle this as their chosen profession. You may think they make all this money, and they didn’t treat you as well in your time of need as the out of state person vented in a review. Funeral Directors have strict laws and polices to abide by. More funerals have an outstanding balance then are paid in full.
This funeral home does more for their community behind the scenes then anyone knows. I wish I could share it with you but I have to respect their privacy and keep things confidential.
Over 100 years of service to the familes of Cranston and Rhode Island. 4 generations of Nardolillo’s serving their community. I know they are hoping a 5^th generation is not to far away.
In my opinion there are no finer funeral directors in the state then the ones on staff at Nardolillo’s Funeral Home. They are human too, and all though they try to treat everyone like it is their own family member no one can be perfect all the time.
I have buried 4 Grandparents, 4 Great Aunts, 2 Uncles, and my Father and they have been nothing but the utmost professional. Caring, understanding and doing everything to meet your needs. Nothing we asked was not taking care of. At one wake we asked them to lower the ac, than raise the ac, then lower the ac. We must of asked them over a dozen times during a 3 hour wake. Not one time did they not do it with a smile and not one time did they not ask is there anything else we can do for you.
Please don’t hesitate to make Narodlillo’s your choice when your family is in need. I will use no one else.
If you have a problem with anyone there or think you are not being treated fairly just ask for Bobby, David, or Al. I know they will not rest until your concerns are addressed and needs are meet.

Thank God I insisted on a written estimate! Extremely rude and unprofessional, and worse still, absolutely outrageous rates. Wait, you googled my name and figured out my net worth and wanted to shake me down the day before the funeral as I was coming in from out of state? Why do your salesmen sound like they’re all doing business from a table at Starbucks? Do you think that having a few vowels in your name entitles you to screw people over? I was forced at a difficult time to dump a company that wanted to charge, with a straight face I might add, 2,000. just to receive a bag of cremated remains. another $ 550 for Starbucks boy to show up, twice the actual charge for a private car to pick up elderly friends. so for something that should only cost say zero (interment of ash remains at Exeter in existing plot is $ 120., rent a car for 4 hours ($ 150.) These guys finally sent me an estimate of 3 grand after I absolutely insisted (He was unable to quantify the cost of doing next to nothing!) and Starbucks boy really thought he had bullshitted me into his own home run$$$$ because he thought ashes were already enroute to Cranston. I found a service that was outstanding at a third of these poor excuse for Rhode Island Italians price and it was wonderful. unfortunately this can be a big ugly business, at an emotional time. so please remember to not be a victim. bring a calm business minded friend with you elsewhere— do not use these hustlers.

Owners were rude and difficult to deal with
