I’ve been ordering Neo for a few years now. They make a fine pie. Particularly, the Gian and Lucia are favorites of mine. Their wheat crust is tasty but usually out of stock when I order. Last night I ordered their Margherita for the first time and was quite disappointed. Their idea of basil is microscopic strands of basil over cheese and sauce. If you can’t put some actual basil leaves on the pie, don’t bother. I’d advise them to revisit their version of a Margherita.

Quality Pizza I am big fan of Neo Pizza. I’ve been a bunch of times and as usual it always satisfies. Pros: Quality Ingredients Thin Crust Pizza Great Bar Deals Good Value Cons: Suspect Service Neo is good spot to grab a pizza and a beer. Tip: Sit at the bar and grab a half pitcher for 4 bucks and a simple roni regular pizza. For less then 20 bucks you’ll be happy. Thanks

This is based on the calzones and nothing else ! The vibe was nice and relax very causal but the calzone was bland. I got the spinach pepperoni and cheese calzone. It was 89.99% spinach, disappointed.

Food is alright. I live a block away but eat here no more than once a month or so. Don’t expect miraculous and You’ll be fine. They switched to new computers so make sure you check which city u live in. They definitely screwed that up on me my last order. Even though I live a block away

Would not order from here again. There was almost no sauce on the pasta and the checken and pizza were both burnt. The mozzarella sticks were good.

I just ordered from there and was very excited to get some food. I waited and waited and waited. An hour later i called the store and they told first that the food is on its way. Then later told me that they couldn’t deliver my food because i was 9 miles away. i didn’t receive any called notifying me telling me that i couldn’t order from this place which would have been the decent thing to do since i am starving. On top of that they also charged my card even though i haven’t gotten any food and they refuse to deliver my food. I asked why i didn’t get a call and the lady acted very dumb and didn’t know what to say. i’m sorry but this service was very bad and i will never order from here again.

As good as anywhere on Federal Hill, everything consistently fresh and delicious. Friendly staff, the only thing keeping me from 5 stars is a little pricey for the area.

Finding decent pizza in the Rhode Island area is difficult, there’s so much crappy pizza around here! Neo’s Pizza by no means can be compared to authentic New York style pizza but for around here it’s one of the best. We have tried their cheese and Gian pizzas and both were flavorful and delicious. If you are in the Cranston/Johnston area it’s worth a stop!

I signed up to Unilocal just because I was so disappointed with neo pizza. went to neo based on rave reviews posted here on Unilocal about their Neapolitan pizza. neo’s pies cant compare to NY’s Neapolitan style pies cooked in a wood fired oven. I grew up on REALNY pizza! Im from brooklyn, and neo pizza is an insult to be mention in the same sentence with real NY pizza! Lombardi’s Pizza in NY is king! Ray’s pizza is a close 2nd for me @ 462 Columbus Ave — 82 st …you’d have to travel to Boston to find a decent pizza pie in New England! or frank pepe in New Haven ct. neo’s taste like papa ginos at best! dont bother!

Went in on a Saturday night, only a few people were there so we were seated right away. Ordered buffalo chicken wings and two pizzas: Hawaiian and Margherita. They were out of bacon so we subbed in pancetta on the Hawaiian. Both pizzas were delicious, really great crust and quality toppings. We thought the wings were pretty decent too, my friends thought they could have been a bit spicier but I didn’t mind. Ordered a few glasses of wine with dinner, they were super generous when pouring. Had gone in because we had the Living Social deal but would go back again.

I was in a hurry for a quick bite for lunch. They sell pizza by the slice and at first I was a little hesitant because it was 3pm and the last lonely slice of pepperoni pizza looked like it had been sitting in that rotating warming display since lunch time. I went ahead an adopted that last lonely slice for $ 2.50 and to my surprise, it actually was pretty good. It was one of those NY style slices. The crust had nice flavor and the sauce was good too. When I have more time, I will go back again and order a whole pie with a variety of toppings.

I love Neo’s. They use quality ingredients in their traditional but fresh combinations, which is quite refreshing for a casual pizza place. We are talking fresh basil, pancetta, veal sausage, etc. But while the service is slightly inconsistent, the food is always spot on. Their specialty pizza menu is where they really shine, so order from there– trust their judgement. I usually go for the Gian(3 cheeses, spinach, pancettta, garlic, herbs & oil), but last night I went for the Gabrielle. The crust was divine! Not quite slight enough to be a thin crust pizza, but had a great crunch with soft center. And the toppings! Chicken, prosciutto, three cheeses and lots of shredded basil! Shut the front door. And only $ 15 for a large! Neo’s is definitely on my radar and should be on yours, too!

I have eaten alot of pizza in my day and concider myself to be a bit of an expert when it comes to knowing what good pizza is. Neo pizza is a fantastic example of what great pizza can be. I recently had what I believe to be the best pizza I have ever tasted. It was called«the boss» but is not a regular menu item and only if the owner Charlie is there would it be possible to order such a treat. All of the other menu selections and specialty pizzas available on the menu also looked amazing. I highly recomend that you take a trip to Neo and be prepared for some seriously high quality pie!!!

Fantastic NY-Style pizza! I’ve driven by this place a bunch of times but never thought to try it until today when I read a review on about the top 5 traditional pizza places in RI. I had already tried all of them except Neo Pizza, which was Third out of five entries. So tonight I decided to get a pizza from there so I could complete my list. Ordered a cheese and pepperoni pizza, upgraded to «fresh mozzarella» for a buck more. The crust was just the right thickness, the sauce plentiful and flavorful, and the toppings high quality. The pie was very reasonably priced for it’s size(I got the small pie which is 12″.) The sauce was extremely heavy, which made the pizza messy to eat, but personally I like a lot of sauce, so it was OK by me. If you don’t like lots of sauce on your pie, you may want to ask for easy sauce. Over all I give it 4 out of 5 stars, as the service was a tad bit slow(one young girl on the counter and helping prep food.) I will definitely be going back as the pizza is one of the best I’ve had in a LONG time. You definitely need to give these guys a whirl, even if it’s a little out of your way. it’s worth it!

Pizza is good. I don’t think its as good as the awards indicate though. Service is fair, it can be hit or miss. Never in compliance with the state smoking law as there are always people(usually employees) smoking outside the door.
