I went for the Tuesday burger night five dollars for an excellent burger not to mention this place is right around the corner from me! The bartender was excellent she knew exactly the right times to check on me because I was there alone. After doing 10 hours of homework I know the place that I will now go to. Just The people inside are happy! I will definitely be back especially since Tuesday’s from what I am told are slower days and you can’t beat the price of the Burger versus me cooking!

PJs is a nice sports bar/pub. The food is pretty good and drinks are cold. Food is fresh as well, really good for a bar/pub.

Rather small so if you don’t go early don’t think you will get a seat for awhile. Menu is very limited and has been for years now. With that said everything is very good. The nacho cheese burger is very good and the wings are ridiculous. Peanut butter and jelly wings are to die for. Service is just ok depending on who you get. If you don’t mind being kind of cramped you can’t really go wrong here. What they do is limited but they do it very well.

I love PJ’s. For great wings and great beer, they’ve definitely got you covered. What I feel sets them apart is the staff — everyone is just so nice and helpful. Be aware of the fact that their wings are SO good, wing night is a mad house, and they actually recommend you make reservations! It’s definitely a good thing to do, as these wings are sensational and abundant. They have loads of options and the servers are great at suggesting beer pairings. I love it. Also, know that PJs is a true pub. It’s nothing glamorous, there are TVs on every wall and it’s dark, loud and has the distinct odor of old beer. It’s fantastic.

This place is great for bar food. Small but welcoming, great services. Must try their PB&J wings! It even comes with a side of fluff!

The first time I went here, I was leery because the host who met us at the door was curt and short and asked if I had a reservation. It’s a friggin pub!!! But because of it being wing special night, it was needed he said. Some how I was able to be «fitted in». But when I asked for water, after I had ordered Martini, I was told only bottled water, for a fee was available. After this it was all uphill. The waitresses are beyond sweet, nice and accommodating. The wings are good, the drinks pretty weak and the seating comfortable. Really, it’s the waitresses and their personable ways that will keep me coming back.

My first time here, and I absolutely loved it. I had. come with my friends. The two gentlemen’s who took us in were really nice. Got our drinks while waiting for a table to be open for us which only took like 5 minutes. Every waiter, waitress or host were so attentive. Great service. The wings and different flavors were great. Definitely will be back soon!

I love this place! Great spot to enjoy a quick bite and drink. They offer food & drink specials for every day of the week. I usually go on Monday’s which is .35 cent wing night. The wings are amazing! There’s a bunch of flavors to choose from. I would definitely recommend this place.

We usually enjoy going to PJ’s for wings on Mondays, but our visit yesterday will surely be our last. I called PJ’s Cranston around 5 to make a reservation for 2 of us at 7pm. The woman who answered the phone confirmed the name and details. We arrived at PJ’s a few minutes before 7 and gave our name to the man at the door. Looking at his clipboard, he informed us that there was no reservation under my name for 7pm. Instead, our reservation was noted for 6pm, instead of 7(the woman on the phone accidentally wrote 6). We found this kind of annoying, considering we would have to wait for a table to open up, but I totally get that it was a simple mistake. Not a huge deal. As a consolation, the host suggests that we have a drink at the bar and wait for a table to open up. So I sit at the one open seat while my boyfriend stands behind me and we order a pitcher of beer. About 15 minutes pass and we notice several parties have left, while new parties have arrived and are seated instantly. Although we begin to become frustrated, we give the staff the benefit of the doubt and a few more minutes to make things right. Soon it becomes 7:30 and not one employee has checked in on us or reassured us that we will be seated. Finally, at 7:45, after nearly an hour of waiting at the bar, my boyfriend approaches one of the waitresses and asks when we will be seated. She looks around and says she will see what she can do, yet she never apologizes or follows up with us, and does not seem to express any concern for our situation. After getting no response from the first waitress, I approach a waiter who is carrying the clipboard with names and reservations. I explain our situation, moderately annoyed at this point, and he also seems to lack any sort of empathy for us. Instead, he asks for my name and writes it at the bottom of a list of parties without reservations. Becoming impatient, since I clearly explained the reservation mishap, I point to my original name on the list(still written for 6pm) and tell him that we should have been seated nearly an hour ago. Out of nowhere, the original host(who claims that he is the manager or owner) approaches us and attempts to hush us and avoid further attention from surrounding customers. Defending his incompetent staff, he tells us that there is no reason to yell(though we have not even raised our voices) and also states that he was under the impression that we were going to eat at the bar. What? First off, were we expected to share ONE barstool while we ate? And secondly, we clearly communicated with you that we would wait for the next available table. His assumption of us eating at the bar was completely foolish and absurd. At this point, 8pm rolls around and not one of the employees or the asinine manager has attempted to find us a table. They also have yet to acknowledge and own up to their mistake. To try to save face, the manager offers to pay for our $ 8 pitcher. Wow! That literally was the LEAST you could do. Thanks so much for the generosity(we left at this point). In the end, we felt completely disrespected and disregarded during the hour we wasted at this poor excuse for a restaurant. It’s a shame that such oblivious and poorly trained staff(not to mention the manager) ruined our experience and left an awful impression on us. Next time, show some professionalism, own up to YOUR simple, careless mistake, and show your customers that you really value their business by righting your wrongs in the moment. Sorry, but we will not be returning and we will not be recommending PJ’s to anyone in the future. I’m sure our lack of business will make this scummy establishment much easier for the«manager» to manage.

I used to come here for their Monday night specials. Their bar food is good and they always have good beer specials. Their service is terrible. The bartenders are OK. I hate to use the racist card but I swear the security guy or manager or whoever he is, must hate Asians. I mean come on, I’m a woman and I’m always with my girlfriends. How much trouble can we cause? He is so rude(the bald guy)!

PJs is our go-to pub. Whether it’s Monday night wing night, drinks on Friday after work, or lunch on Saturday– they never disappoint. The staff is very friendly and remember your names… Even the owners come by to say Hi, check on your experience and have a conversation– they take pride in their business. The food here is typical pub food but better than most pubs offer– I highly recommend the wings!!!

Absolutely love this place whether it’s Monday nights for $.35 wing deals or football Sunday’s. The waitresses are always so attentive and nice. The one downfall is they don’t carry Narraganset beer. Hence the minus one star. It’s a Rhode Island born bar that doesn’t carry Rhode Island beer. If they carry that then they’d get 5 stars!

As a fire hound, it is hard to find a wing joint that makes wings that are so capsacin hot and licking good at the same time. I discovered this perfection at PJ’s with the Hell Hot!!! However, despite that I LIVE for these wings, they were, «out of the sauce»…this is the 3rd time of out of 4 I was told this since June. So my suggestion(though I will call ahead first from now on)…is if you can’t keep the heat in the kitchen, take it off the menu. Or maybe save some money by not having«the challenge» any more. I am happy to pay extra money for those wings if it meant that you could afford to have back up sauce in storage. The waitstaff is hotter than hooters and friendly. And a good looking Bald gentlemen was barking out«you all set ?!» while we were packing up for the night. Yes, I am always all set when you put it like that.

Stopped in on a Thursday night with some friends and this place was bustling. It was pretty late and we were glad to hear the kitchen was still open. I had the house sangria and it was quite tasty. We also ordered two types of wings, also great. Looking over the menu they have different specials all week. Fyi– Thursday night is ladies night and the special this night are $ 4.00 martinis. Decent spot to enjoy a bite and a few drinks

Food: Boring/Bland Service: Apathetic/Close to terrible Atmosphere: Loud kids who would probably pay to see Pauly D dj and then instagram about it for the next year A previous reviewer mentioned that this place would be cool for 22 year olds. For the record, I am 22, and even I have better standards. Boyfriend and I were looking for a place that was open late where we could have a scorpion bowl. After reading such good reviews on Unilocal,I thought PJ’s would be worth the drive from Seekonk to Cranston. Oh boy, Unilocal… sometimes I need to remember to take these reviews with a grain of salt. We walked in and I had heard someone greet us, though I had no idea who or where she was as I looked around. We were told we could have a seat anywhere. Well, the place was packed so really the only table we found was by the back where it was a half booth/half chair type deal. Our server came over and before anything else asked if she could hold a debit card. Ok sure, I gave her mine. We ordered the scorpion bowl which was perfect, strong and not too sweet with the flaming 151 in the middle and fresh fruit swimming around. We happened to be pretty close to the guy playing live music with an acoustic guitar. Amongst the trendy crowd, this was a surprise. He played a bunch of covers but was pretty good, and the music was loud, though I suppose it had to be to be able to hear anything above the noise level of the place. Our waitress had returned with a second straw as she had delivered our scorpion bowl with only one. She had almost run off again before we stopped her to put in our orders for apps. We decided on the poutine and boneless wings. This is when we were asked by another waiter to switch to another table because«he had a party of 10 coming in and didn’t know what to do». There was a guy over at the table to our left who was also asked to move. We were kinda irked by this and sat there for a while like, well, why should we have to move? Shouldn’t your party of 10 have made a reservation if they really needed the space… Why do we need to move after being told we could sit anywhere we liked? Whatever, we moved over, and apparently so did the other guy. Apparently this wasn’t relayed to anyone else because we had to stop the guy who was delivering our food from returning it to the kitchen once we caught his confusion, to which he asked, «Oh you moved?» and we’re just like«Well yeah, we were kinda forced to». No apologies, not from him, or the guy who asked us to move, or our waitress. Alright. So poutine, which, PJ’s menu deems theirs as «amazing» mind you, is fries, cheese curds, and gravy. I was pretty excited when our food came out. Well, how embarrassing of PJ’s to set it in print that their poutine is amazing when it was anything but. Absolutely flavorless, and way too many scallions(coming from a girl who loves scallions on her cheese fries) oh, and kraft mozzarella string cheese as the cheese curds. Boneless wings tasted like they came frozen out of a bag. We got the check which came to be about a reasonable $ 33 where our scorpion bowl was $ 15(though not worth a penny for what this place is). Since she had already had my card, our waitress had asked if we just wanted to charge our bill on it which was fine. I signed the receipt and wondered where my copy was. I noticed that there was a second receipt stapled behind the merchants copy, but it wasnt the customer copy that would have the lines for documenting how much you tipped and paid total. so I didnt bother to tear the second receipt off. as we were leaving, my slightly intoxicated mind began to wonder if I had forgotten my debit card… Well, turns out I did. Now don’t get me wrong, it was my fault that I hadn’t remembered to ask, but I feel that if you are going to hold people’s cards, you should remember to give them back. The boy and I had mentioned we would never return to this place, well so much for that(guess that’s how they get ya?) When I returned the next day to get my card, a woman at the bar handed it to me, wrapped in what else but the customers copy of my receipt, which leaves me to believe that our waitress had in fact forgotten to hand it back to me with our bill, as this is the only time I have ever lost my card. If it was in front of my face I totally would have grabbed it. I’m guessing now that this woman handing me my debit card is assuming that I just walked out the night before without paying my bill, because she said to me «They’ve charged you for your meal, but if you want to tip them there’s a space right there» ummm… the audacity. Thanks, but I tipped last night. Yeah this place kinda sucks. Not to mention creepy guys who stare at you and don’t have enough shame to look away once you catch them staring. Yes the live music was good and yes the Scorpion bowl was good, but I mean it’s not the only place to find either of those things. So, don’t think we will be stepping foot in here anytime soon.

This place is the spot if you like chicken wings. They are so busy on monday nights that I suggest you call ahead and make reservations… Yes. Reservations. At a pub. For chicken wings. 25 cents a wing. 5 wing minimum per type. This leaves plenty of room in the budget for a pitcher of draft beer. This place has nice specials for days ending in y. Don’t hold me to it(this is from memory)… tuesdays is build a burger for 5 bucks. Wednesday is a pizza and a pitcher of beer for like 15 bucks. Thursday is ladies night. Friday is live band. Saturday is bloody marys for $ 5 and domestic drafts for $ 2. Forgot sunday… too much lemon shandy tonight. Ha ha. Go check out PJ’s. You won’t be sorry.

I can’t write much about this place besides its Monday Wing nights. I have only been about 2 times that weren’t on a Monday for the 35 cent wings. The food is pretty good overall. Nothing really special IMO for a bar environment since it is really cramped. This is mainly about wings, because that’s what most people come here for. Call ahead, even its for 2 people, and make a reservation because it gets packed every Monday! The wings are GREAT! Nothing more needed to say other than get in there and eat a bunch, Buffaque is my poison and get your favorite brews alongside them. ORDERWHATYOUCANEAT. Like most specials and Promos, wings that you order are for in house. Meaning if you plan on taking your leftovers home, it is frowned upon. I understand if someone orders 15 and eats 3 to take 12. But if I’m ordering more than 40 wings and I happen to not finish 7 wings, give me a break!
