We were staying at a hotel nearby and ate here twice during our stay. Great beer selection, friendly service, TVs to watch whatever game is on. The food was just okay, nothing to write home about. It’ll fill your belly.

Don’t know why I never found this place sooner. This is a nice pub with great beer selection and English Tavern style food. Portions were good and well seasoned. Nice beer selection. The atmosphere is very comfortable — be prepared to want to stay longer than you expected. The bartender was great — everyone was «honey» and although she was working alone, she was very attentive. Even though this place is near the airport I sensed it is primarily a local clientele (as evidence by the mugs over the bar for the regulars) but staff and patrons made me feel like I was a regular too. Will come back here next time I have a layover in the area. Passed by it 100 times before and questioning now what I was thinking!

Only wish is that they change up the menu every once in a while. I understand you don’t mess with successs, but Id come back more often if there were more new things to try!

My wife and I love this place. The beer choice is great and the signature burgers are awesome! My wife swears by the turkey burgers, made fresh and not just frozen patties. Everyone that works here is pleasant and the place is always clean with plenty of TVs to watch the game.
Also if you’ve never had a sweet potato tot, you’ve never lived.

Love this place! Staff is super attentive and welcoming. All the food is great! My favs are the fried pickles, chicken fingers and I hear their turkey wrap is good. A must go to bar when in town!

This is my kinda place. The staff is friendly and the customers are friendly which all makes for good conversation. The menu is extensive and everything I had was good.

You know when you have the «where are we going to eat tonight» argument with your significant other? Well, whenever we end up having that debate and we cannot agree we always settle on Shannon View, our go to spot.
First and foremost the service here is great (we always sit at the bar). The staff is friendly and funny, sitting at the bar you don’t get just one great server but 2 – 4. All of whom are personable and hilarious in their own way.
They have a huge selection of beer, always something new and interesting on tap.
Now, let’s talk about the food. Even at some of my favorite places I have been let down. At the Shannon View? Never. Everything on the menu is great and the portions are huge. For appetizers I would have to say their chicken fingers that are first marinated I their homemade sauce are a winner! I personally love the Brie or not to Brie sandwich, which I always add bacon too. When choosing a side for your sandwich buffalo fries or fried pickles are the way to go. Other favorites include the shepherds pie, the Dublin burger and meatloaf.

Excellent food selection. Appetizer section is ok but maybe additional items would be nice. I have zero complaints about the quality or quantity.
Staff is excellent. All bartenders are professional and it is very obvious that the kitchen staff takes great pride in for prep and presentation.
Awesome place to go after a flight! Directly across the street from TF GREEN airport.
Many travelers take a taxi/​über and walk in with luggage … Never seems to be an issue!

A wonderful and amazing place with great food and spirits along with some amazing buffalo chips. Small, quaint and cozy inside goes along with their other places they run as well just a smaller version. Decent amount of beer to choose from so can never go wrong with that. Staff is always funny and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. If you don’t know where it is I’m sure you will drive right by it. Try it as others have state you will love it.

My fiancé and I frequent Shannon View quite often. It has a decent selection of beers aling with surprisingly yummy food for a bar. We have taken a handful of our out of town guests here and they have all commented about how yummy the food is.

I’ve been to Shannon View a few times and thought it was time I add a review because I’m always very satisfied when I leave there.
For me, to get 5 stars I have to be wow’d and the place has to be excellent in many ways. This place is probably the closest to getting one from me. For starters lets talk food. Not only have I gone there but I’ve taken other there as well and no one has ever complained about the food. The nachos are a meal in of themselves and LOADED. They do not skimp on toppings. Their chili is hearty and delicious. The burgers are great and always cooked to your request. I personally like spicy so I almost always get the wicked hot burger. Its topped w/​pepper jack, jalapeño bacon, wicked pickles & a habanero pepper relish. It’ll clear your sinuses and might make you shed a tear, but it’s not hot for the sake of hot, its very flavorful. I’ve also had the Dublin burger with corned beef hash, Irish cheddar and their house sauce. Can’t say enough good things about the food.
Good food never tastes as good when the service stinks right? Well the service here is top notch. You are never forgotten, the staff is more than willing to answer questions or offer suggestions. Again, you won’t be disappointed in this area either. The place is also very clean any time I’ve ever been there.
Lastly, they have a very nice selection of beers including a number of craft beers. Their fusion section is very interesting if you’re into that. The mixes they come up with are not only unique but taste quite good too. It’s not a place that you’ll be disappointed in if you give it a try.

Not bad! I had a burger and it was cooked ok, and the fries were good too. I met my book club here and I liked that they didn’t rush us while we chatted. I didn’t drink but my friend did and she said they made good drinks. THe bathrooms were clean! I always judge restaurants by there bathrooms. If the staff cant be bothered to clean the bathroom, how dirty is the kitchen?

Awful! Went for lunch — there were 6 of us. We all ordered burgers — medium. They were all well done! Dry inside, outside burnt! One girl only had a bottom bun because they forgot the top bun? I order bacon and cheese on my fries — they forgot then literally put 4 tiny broken peices with gross watered-​down cheese sauce on them. We ordered fried pickles, they sent a side of them instead of the whole order? Toilet was clogged. The waitress apparently didn’t believe is and had to go check herself, she came back and said its not clogged the back of the tank wasn’t full of water, she left the bathroom having touched the toilet tank without washing her hands. The cook then went into the bathroom with a glove on from the kitchen, to check the bathroom. Left the bathroom with the glove still on and removed it will walking through the dining area. GROSS. Would never recommend to anyone!

Good beer selection, good food, decent service.
Its traditional pub faire, but well executed. Think shepherd’s pie, bangers & mash, burgers, soft pretzels with beer cheese, etc.
Not every beer is craft; I would have preferred to have found a wheat beer that isn’t Shock Top or hard cider that isn’t Angry Orchard, but there’s a fair number of local beers on tap that kept things interesting.

Every time I’m in Rhode Island for Union training I have to visit Shannon View. It’s a local pub with craft beers and some of the best food in town. The staff is always friendly. Great place. Wish we had you in South Florida

An Irish pub with some good grub. Good beer and a cool atmosphere to it. Just off post Rd in Warwick ri. Not much to say but I enjoy coming here for a burger.

I would have given this pub 5 stars, hands-​down, considering the experience I just had there. I had the pleasure of consuming a one-​of-​a-​kind 2012 Goose Island Stout that was aged 2.5 years in a Bourbon barrel and tapped tonight. This is the only pub in the United States serving this primo-​brew tonight. The food was pretty decent but what really put me over the edge was my initial server. The reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because that initial server put my name in their system as «boy». That being said, I have a note I’d like to leave for my tattooed ginger friend.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. Although I walked in your pub wearing athletic shorts, Adidas running shoes, and a backwards cap, I’m actually an EXTREMELY successful consultant for a billion dollar software company. I’m in town consulting for one of our largest customers and although I have a baby-​face, I’m a 25 year old man. You, on the other hand, are 30-​something and still serving at a bar. GOOD FOR YOU!
I still tipped over 20% but I’m astonished at the sheer ignorance of your actions. Not only did you ignore me while I waited to order food from you for 20+ minutes while you served a number of other customers who came into the restaurant after me, but you wouldn’t even look me in the eye after your colleague pointed out that I noticed your disrespect for a paying customer. I hope you change your attitude before you seriously hurt this fantastic pub.

Went for brunch on Sunday, their omelet was delicious made more as a scramble vs omelet which made it unique. Buffalo chicken sandwich was huge with a side of fries pickles. Food was great and love the local bar setting.

Interesting place. Right by the airport. Feels like a house more than a bar. Friendly staff. Quiet regulars in a Sunday afternoon. 4 – 6 big TV’s. Ample tap lines with great beers. Great bottle selection too. I Was there for brunch. Got corned beef hash Benedict. Jalapeño cured bacon. French instead of home fries with a curry sauce that made me feel like I was in the UK. My sister got a burger on wheat berry bread with sweep potato tots. The food is solid. Nikki P is in the kitchen. Great chef and a great singer/​song writer too.
I am happy with my over all experience.

So here we have a great little pub next to the airport, which is much better than the fare available at the airport.
Don’t expect fine dinning but great pub food and an extensive beer selection.
I return for the quality of the staff and good beer. It’s lunch for me not dinner, I’m a pain in the butt when it comes to that!
So stop in for a beer and a bite soon, and if your stuck at airport it’s lively and friendly!
