4.5 stars. Competes with the best pad Thai w/shrimp I’ve ever had! Well balanced ingredients, sauce and peanuts! Thai tea also rates top from the 100 I’ve probably had in my life time! Crab rangoons good/average 3.5÷5. It’s a hole-in-the wall type place and it’s AWESOME! The woman/owners wife I believe is just the sweetest thing — huge happy smile and calls everyone honey! I’d go back just to see her genuine customer service again. Felt like I was being served by family!

I love pad thai, and after reading the reviews for this restaurant, I decided to try theirs. It was ok. There wasn’t much chicken or peanuts, and the dish was drenched in sauce. It is a very small restaurant, 4 tables. The staff is very friendly, which was nice.

1– Food: I ordered ‘Vegetable Pad Thai’ & ‘Tom Noodle Soup’. The food was fantastic. It smelled, looked, and tasted great. 2– Service: The waitress was super polite and professional. 3– Environment: The place is on the cozy side with few tables. Suitable for 2 – 4 but can accommodate 6 – 8 upon reservation. I will definitely go back for more fantastic Thai food

I came here yesterday for some take out after reading online reviews. I have to say the woman working was an absolute sweetheart and she does love to call you«honey» which I thought was cute. I ended up ordering the crispy chicken wings, chicken pad Thai, and beef Mamas noodles. The chicken wings were crispy and delicious and the sauce accompanying them really wasn’t hot but it was interesting. Not«interesting» in a bad way either lol. The chicken pad Thai was good but I may opt to try their«country style pad Thai» next time because it states it’s a bit more spicy. But as for the beef Mamas noodles, I would have to say they weren’t just good, they were awesome! I can’t wait to try some other things on their menu such as their curries and pad see ew. It’s very small inside, better for takeout than dining in.

Love, love, love this place! This is a tiny little hole in the wall in Cranston, and it is a hidden gem. First, the lady that runs it is awesome. She is always very pleasant, sweet, and happy to see you. The food is outstanding! I love the country style pad thai. It is a slightly different take on plain old pad thai, and it is delicious. I have never had a bad meal here. I only gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because it has no restroom for the public. It is a very clean restaurant though. Take a look into the kitchen, and it is spotless!

Very nice food and super cool service, one should visit it. It has 14 people seating pretty small place, but when you see them you will ignore all and just stick to their customer service and food. I do have a concern on Egg basil fried rice(Asked for 4 eggs to be on it instead of 1 egg and they do charged 4 $ extra which is high on cost) Over all I’m happy to visit this place.

Been going here since it opened. «Hello honey!» I’ve had almost every dish, and I’m always amazed at how simple, delicious, fresh, and amazing the food is. The owners are great, inviting, and humble. They remember me every time. When I come home to RI, I always visit. DC, Florida, Virginia, Maryland, NJ, Mass, NH.. nobody has what this place has. Authentic and outstanding. Miss you guys so much!

Food is super good and the owners are so sweet! Only thing holding me back from giving them 5 stars is the small seating area(recommend take-out only) and relatively high prices given the sizes of the dishes. Most dishes are +$ 12 and I never have enough for left-overs the next day. :(

I love Thai Orchid. Family owned, tiny restaurant and the owner always calls you honey. A little expensive, but I do like to indulge every once and a while. My faves are the vegetable curry and the chicken ginger soup. Just writing this review, I’m beginning to salivate.

You know me, I’m always looking for a new good Thai restaurant. I have explored many of the places that Providence had to offer and I was looking out beyond the city’s limit to see about the other places that people like. Don’t ask me how my friend found this place but tucked away in Cranston, Thai Orchid is a little hole in the wall type place where there was a nice selection of your common thai foods. We didn’t have a menu with us so we had to go there to order out. We ordered enough food to feed the 5000 so it did take them a few minutes to put our order together. I was sad to see that there wasn’t any Lad Nah here but I asked and they were willing to make it for me. The food was excellent and very affordable! The family was very friendly calling both me and the BF «honey» and then giving us a gift prior to us leaving. Their curries and noodle dishes were superb. Given that I live in Providence and I have adopted the Rhode Island mentality, I am not sure how often I’ll be able to make it down to this restaurant but locally this is definitely a good eat!

Thai food as good as it gets. I worked in Boston and Thai Orchid is better than any other place I’ve eaten. The yellow curry with duck is superb. The House Fried Rice is excellent. You cannot go wrong here and the food is worth every penny. Support a local business and get some great food at the same time. What’s better than that?

I wish this restaurant was around the corner from me. I went there because of all the reviews I read. The reviews are true. The lady does call you«honey», They are a quaint mom and pop restaurant that feels very personal. The food is so clean and deeeeeLISH!!! The best part of the whole deal is that I made an error on an order when I remembered they had already finished and plated my order. Instead of shrugging me off for my error, they made my order afresh. Customer Service took my heart… If I ever go to Rhode Island I will be paying them a visit«Honey»!!!

The Pad Thai country style was excellent and perfectly spicy and the Thai rolls were delicious. Very cute, small restaurant with great customer service. Take out was fast and easy.

Decided to give this place another shot. Called ahead to make sure they were actually open. The service was good… The food was just ok. Guess I am spoiled by the thai excursion in Warwick. I ordered a curry dish and asked for it to be made spicy. It was almost sweet … I then asked for some chili sauce to give it flavor. The noodles my meal was served on were just ok. Reminded me of the ramen noodles from my college days! My husband also thought his meal was so so. With better restaurants closer to home we probably won’t go back. Really liked the idea of a byob hole in the wall… Sad that the missed the mark on the food.

First time trying this small mom and pop place and was instantly greeted by the bubbly sweet female owner/chef! She calls you«honey» and is so welcoming that you feel like she invited you over for dinner at her home. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic!!! I ordered the chicken pad thai noodle and it was out of this world! I’ve ordered pad thai at a lot of other restaurants and this one is probably my favorite. My husband has been here a few times before and raved about the Mama noodle dish. I’m so glad he introduced me to this place. I can’t wait to go back! I also ordered a thai iced tea which was a perfect compliment to my dish!

Very small eatery on Park Ave in Cranston. Think six — couples tables. That’s it. +Very good Mama noodle dish. I always go with beef — normal spice. +Authentic Thai food. +Pad Thai is delicious! –Very small dining area –Service is slower but be patient… there is only one cook — it is a two person shop.

A friend of mine took me here and I am so glad she did! This is a little tiny place that has DELICIOUS food! The woman is so sweet and calls you ‘honey’ and just bends over backwards to provide you with the very best service. She really makes you feel right at home. We had the Nim chow and Tung Thong to start — soo good! I really liked the Tung Thong(crab cream cheese puffs that are deep fried) — YUM! And then we split the chicken pad thai. I can’t wait to go back here! I wish I lived closer for takeout!

We happened to be approaching Providence around dinner-time, so we consulted Unilocal and found this place. Parking appears limited to on-street out front, or possibly around the corner into some residential areas as well. The street this fronts on(Park Ave.) is semi-busy. Inside, the dining space is fairly limited. They have about 5 — 6 small tables and appear to do a larger share of their business as take-out orders. Still, there were some dine-ins, including our party. As others have stated, this is a true mom-and-pop operation. Mom takes your order and pop cooks it, from what I could tell. The owners are friendly. The food was fairly good; I received a hearty portion of Massaman curry + vegetables. I finished almost everything on my plate. My wife finished her dish as well, though my daughter left some of the veggies from her Panang. No one left hungry. They also have really odd cartoon paper place-mats, which is the only other characteristic I can recall.
