It’s a great place to go for tea. The atmosphere/ambiance was great. Only downside was the service. I waited for the server to come for almost 20 minutes until I came up to the register and tried to just order from there. However, they told me to sit down and wait for a server. I had to wait another five minutes until the waiter came. Food was fine. I had a blueberry crêpe, though it could’ve been better for the price I paid.

So delicious! As per the usual fashion, my friend and I got two plates and went halvsies and we are so glad we did. We got the fig and prosciutto as well as the chicken shawarma and they were both delicious. I got the green pear iced tea and she got the mandarin silk iced tea and those were both great. We would order more and try the whole menu right now if we could but the crepes are large and filling =) Usually I prefer sweet crepes(which they have plenty of too) but these savory ones were a perfect lunch! We’ll definitely be back to try more!

I’m always skeptical of 4.5 star restaurants because I think, «Can it really be THAT good?» Yes. Yes it can. We strolled in here on a lazy afternoon for lunch. Our lovely server offered us assistance on selecting two iced teas(Mandarin silk //green pear) and two crepes(fig and prosciutto //chicken shawarma) All are highly recommended and easily the best crepes I’ve had to date. Portions are generous. Food is of high quality. Ambiance is relaxing. There are couches on the top level and standard seating on the floor level. Large windows allow for beautiful natural light. Quirky jazz plays in the background. I’m in love. Please open up a sister shop in Boston. I’d be here every day.

Food/drink: Love all the tea choices! The spinach and egg crêpe was delicious. Service: The waitress we had was ok, the bill came to $ 21 and change and we put $ 40 down, she asked us if we needed change… She brought back a $ 10, $ 5 and two $ 1s. Her service wasn’t worth a more then 20% tip and we weren’t planning on giving her $ 5. Yes, we could have asked her to change it for 5 $ 1s but she was running around all over the place so we just left the $ 5 and left. Not sure if she did it on purpose or she is new to waitressing. It didn’t ruin my experience and I’d probably go back but it was super annoying.

I have been dying to try this place and finally was able to last Sunday. It’s pretty busy, and we were there for a book club. It is not the best spot for larger groups but the staff were amazing with accommodating us, and let us move the furniture around(couches, tables, chairs), to accommodate our party of 8. The service was great, and the food was delicious. I got the proscuttio and fig crêpe and it was so tasty. I also go the bean dip with naan. The dip was perfectly blended and flavorful. The naan was perfect and warm. Additionally, I got the Blooming Tea, because you have to get some form of tea at this establishment. It sure took it’s time to bloom, but the end result was really cool, and the tea was surprisingly just what I was hoping for, which never usually happens. I will definitely be back here again, whether for book club or just brunch with a friend.

This place is amazing. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable about the varieties of tea and there is an extensive menu. My friend and I shared a pot pf Earl Grey Crème. One of the best black teas I have ever had. I ordered two crepes, the black forest and the lemon sugar and both were phenomenal. Even better than the ones I had in Paris. My friend ordered the salmon crêpe and she loved it! Their menu contains vegan and gluten free crepes as well. I highly recommend stopping in.

What a wonderful discovery! Although I grew up in Cranston, I find there are always new places to discover. The Elephant Room is a cozy little spot featuring an extensive tea menu with wonderful crêpe selections. I’ve only visited once, but can definitely see myself returning in the future. The Ranchero crêpe was our hands down favorite! It’s basically like eggs Ranchero(with beans, tomatoes, cheese, etc) but served in a crêpe. So much flavor, a bit of spice, and you can’t beat the runny egg. We also tried one of the specials, a chicken tinga crêpe with potatoes. It was also very tasty, but a little dry. It could have used something more saucy to balance things out a bit. Whether you visit for brunch, lunch, or just to lounge and have some tea, the Elephant Room is a great option.

Relaxing and delicious! We sat upstairs where they have less formal(more comfy) seating, and we never felt rushed as we enjoyed our tea, mojito’s, and crepes. I heartily recommend the fig and prosciutto crêpe… yum yum yummmmmmmmmmm. So glad my friend recommended that we come here!

Holy Crêpe, I’m in love. Definitely a hidden gem. Great atmosphere and delicious tea. I took my best friend out here for her birthday because she loves elephants. We both really enjoyed ourselves. The food presentation was wonderful. Great place to unwind. I will certainly be back soon!

Absolutely fell in love with this place! Located in a quaint little village of Pawtuxet it’s surrounded by several other shops near the water. Upon entering, the sun shines brightly into the window which lightens up the entire space. The front half upon entering is the seated area and up the ramp is to go orders and available for coffee/tea. We were seated at the front near the Windows. We were given menus which was quite expansive with a page of the crepes, then a few other food items. The rest of the menu was an extensive and descriptive pages of several teas which was intriguing. We ordered the ham and cheese, the fig and prosciutto crêpe and one sweet crêpe which was the vanilla and berries crêpe. My friend ordered a white peach tea and I ordered a Paraguayan guasayan? Tea. Everything was absolutely amazing– we finished everything! Delicious and light, the serving sizes were large and filling. More importantly I loved the presentation of everything– the glasses and tea pours which were made of glass. I must order my own!

I love good crepes, and this place is a gem! The crepes are prepared with the freshest ingredients, and the batter is just right, whether one orders a sweet or a savory crêpe. My husband enjoyed a lemon crêpe, and I had a banana foster crêpe, which was well portioned, beautifully presented on the plate, and delicious. Since the dessert crepes were so good, we decided to try the savory crepes, and they did not disappoint. The crepes were packed with cheese and fresh tomatoes, garnished with scallions, and drizzled with a pesto sauce. The taking of tea is also an experience here. There are so many varieties of tea — some exotic blends as well. The tea is served in little glass teapots, and a timer is presented so that one knows when the tea is fully seeped. Some teas even bloom while they seep, and watching that is pretty cool. The tea is also served with slices of ginger, which is a nice touch. This place is a bit of a drive for me, but I’ll be back. The food was memorable, and I like that!

The café is located in a moderately congested area on a main street so parking could be an issue. The interior is open and fairly well laid out. The lower level consists of eight or so tables, and up top there are a few wicker love seats and bar stools. My wife and I shared a love seat, which was a tad tight. We also shared a French press and chocolate crêpe. Both were quite good and the prices were reasonable. The service was courteous and efficient… no issues there. I just can’t say I was wowed though. Maybe it’s the venue itself.

Besides the fact that I love Elephants(and this place is covered in them!) I really love tea! I had the Chai tea, with soy milk, they give you the cutest glass teapots, with homemade sugared ginger to put in it. I love the atmosphere, it is very cozy yet you can get work done at the high top bar overlooking the dining area. They also have couches if your there to lounge, but even there you can enjoy a fresh crêpe or two.(did i mention they have crepes?!) Overall, it was a great first experience, I will definitely be going back very soon!

Seemed Cozy when we walked in. The service is horrible there is one waitress who is clueless and does not know who has eaten or who needs a check. We waited over an hour for our crepes which are mediocre. I will not be back here. Never asked for drinks or refills. Never asked for water. Only 2 crepes machines . Don’t waste your time

I was hoping to like the Elephant Room more than this, but not so much. I could see if you are a tea enthusiast, it would be an amazing place to sample a huge variety of interesting teas. I went for the vegan crêpe and was really disappointed by the menu. I asked if any of the menu items were vegan and was told the only vegan option was the blueberry lime crêpe. Looking at the menu, I thought more of the sweet items would be vegan, but apparently many of the sauces are prepared with dairy ingredients(this is what the server said when I asked about vegan options). I ended up getting a modified savory menu item without the cheese or sauce/glaze. What I ended up with was a crêpe with a large amount of raw spinach, the equivalent of maybe 1 sliced olive and roasted red peppers on top of a pesto. I appreciated the modification, but was hoping there would be a better mix/ratio of ingredients(soooo much spinach was involved). I believe the vegan/gluten-free crêpe option is really only accidentally vegan and mainly geared towards the gluten-free crowd since there aren’t many vegan menu items(p.s. — making a vegan dark chocolate topping would be the easiest thing in the world). The crêpe menu looks awesome — but if you are vegan, I’d encourage you to only come for the tea. The fact they have a vegan crêpe option but virtually no vegan crêpe meals on the menu is really misleading. To end it on a positive note — the actual vegan crêpe part of my sandwich(?) was delicious!

This place is so cute. The atmosphere is lovely — serene music at a low level, cute succulents on every table, and fabulous accent décor from the chandeliers to the wine rack. The set up can be a little awkward when you are walking in, as there are two levels to the space, separated by a ramp. It is only until you walk up this ramp do you see the counter and staff. I’m not sure if they notice you should you decide to walk in and seat yourself on the lower level(where all of the tables are) as I like to walk up and say hi first. On the upper level there are couches and bar style stool seating overlooking the ground level and facing the street. The menu is great. There is a good selection of teas and I like that the menu tells you the caffeine levels of each. On our last visit we went for a pot of the halo tea($ 4) which blooms as it steeps. Super pretty. It smelled nice and had a light flavor. Bf had a 16 oz cold glass of a stronger tea($ 4) which had a nice flavor I also had a tea infused cocktail($ 10) that was sweet but very strong(just how I like it!) I have yet to try the food here, but everything else is pretty great. Prices are nice, space is nice. We parked right across the street. Service here is ok — the staff isn’t very enthusiastic, but they get the job done.

My friend asked me where she could go with a lap top and just enjoy herself for an afternoon. I recommended the Elephant Room and she said it was the PERFECT place. I have to agree. I love it there. It’s my new go-to location for a Saturday afternoon. Located in the quaint Pawtuxet Village, it’s a golden gem for happiness. I’m not typically a tea person, but their tea menu rivals that of a Belgian beer menu: pages and pages of options. I’m proud to say I drank mine without sugar or honey or lemon or milk – it didn’t need anything! The tea comes with a steeping timer, which is cute and something I’ve never seen before. It felt so official. Now, the crepes. I’ve had three savory crepes, two sweet crepes(and I’ve only been there twice…) and the yogurt and granola. I can’t say anything but good things. It’s hard to make a recommendation because everything I’ve had was delicious. At first I didn’t understand why there was a ham crêpe on the sweet menu until we ordered it: the brown sugar makes it a sweet delight. The staff is also accommodating: I wanted t combine a couple sweet crepes that included chocolate, coconut, and raspberry, and they made it happen. God bless ‘em. It’s also the kind of place where you can relax on a couch and plug in your laptop for a couple of hours. There are peaks of busy hours, but I’ve always been able to find a seat and felt like I could just stay there allllll day(much to the employees’ delight, I haven’t done that, but it’s THAT comfortable.)
