Yo-mix Yogurt Lounge

I’ll have to also disagree with jazzys review and say that yo mixx is a really great froyo lounge. Its not THAT large of a place so its not like its confusing on where to go lol. The cups are right in the back and u work your way from right to left on choosing your flavor then toppings accordingly. Not that hard lol. I like this particular froyo place because the toppings area is always clean and their is always a girl there to welcome u and greet u and offer some sample cups. Cute ambiance and chairs/​tables. They provide fresh drinking water and mini cups. Plenty of parking also since its in a plaza right on park ave.
I’ve been to pinkberry, orange leaf, and a few other yogurt lounge places and this one is definitely great.

I love this place! There are plenty of fresh toppings and the yogurt is always at the right temperature. It can get pricey, so just be mindful of how much you pour. Comparing this place to the traditional ice cream parlor is like comparing apples to oranges. I’ve been to a fair share of yogurt lounges, and this place is my favorite so far!

My husband and I recently visited Yo-​Mix! We were excited to try it out because we had heard great things about it. The cup sizes were ample and they have about 10 different flavors to choose from! My husband chose the peanut butter flavor (sinful). I chose the cheesecake (sinful as well!) When we filled our cups we fell upon the hundreds of different topping you can put (or fit :) in your yogurt! Everything was fresh and the workers were busy making sure to refresh each topping of your choice. They weigh your cups of yogurt and you pay by the oz. My husband and I both had two very generous sized cups of yogurt with multiple toppings and the total was 12.00! We were very happy customers and would go back again in a heartbeat! Also, the adorable patio seating outside is really friendly and inviting! We both recommend it to all of our friends!

I disagree with Jazzy as well. Everything she said I found otherwise. The servers were helpful and friendly. I go there at least 2 – 3 times a week and enjoy every favor and the toppings. In terms of the size, it is up to you to fill as much or at least you want. No one forces you to fill it to the top. It’s called self-​control. Now, I did fill it to the top one time and it still costed than pink berry. I think Yo-​Mix is the best frozen yogurt lounge. It is so clean and for a reasonable price, you can have all the toppings you want without begging the servers to give you a decent amount of toppings. I went to Pinkberry once and got an original with blueberries (5 pieces). Are you kidding me? I can get one with full of blueberries at much lesser cost at Yo-​Mix. Go Yo-​mix! You rock!

Horrible! I just went for the first time and 3 strikes you are out! Number 1– worst location & set up. Everyone is confused, like ADD gone bad! There is no order, everyone is bumping into eachother, the help has no clue what they are doing or even If they are ALIVE! Boyfriend said it’s a total GIMICK with only large cups to rob families with tons of toppings & parents pay 12 $ for yogurt that tastes like Equal, gross! What happened to normal ice cream at Newport creamery or friendlys, honestly this is the northeast not the westcoast! Get with the program little Rhody!
