Coffee Bean Express

Turkey Bacon wraps are the best here! Half the time they mess up my order which is kind of annoying! Love that they’re open ²⁴⁄₇!

Just went there about 10 minutes ago and found glass in my girlfriends milk shake. Never going again and the service is super slow.

If the legends be true, this place is open 24÷7÷365 and has a drive thru window that serves soft and hard ice cream, coffee, sandwiches and hot dogs at any time of day or night.
I can’t believe I’ve lived in and around Providence for most of my adult life and never heard of the Coffee Bean Express until last week. All those hours wasted waiting in line at the Wendy’s drive thru at 2am, or Olneyville New York System at 2am, or trying to get into The Seaplane at 2am when I could have driven to Cranston and gotten ice cream at 2am in the middle of the winter.
The sign clearly says 24 hours, and I did get ice cream in January at 11 o’clock at night from the drive thru. I can’t be 100% sure they’re open 365 days a year, and I can’t speak to the availability or quality of sandwiches, etc.
But damn, a 24 hour year round ice cream and coffee drive thru is good enough for me!

Stopped in here today after my GPS search yielded Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, a favorite of mine on the West Coast. Turns out, this is Coffee Bean Express, a homegrown, cozy little coffee shop with delightful pastries, pizza, ice cream and smoothies. It did not have space for sit down; it is a drive through, run through spot. One or two-​car spot out front. Lovely. I went in and asked for Hot Coffee Latte with Skim Milk and the Crème Brulee flavored syrup. Yum. Definitely tastes better and richer than Dunkin’s. I also took a Cranberry Orange muffin with a sugary glaze on top (yeah, it’s cheat day). For something commercially prepared, it was good enough. The servers were pleasant; I missed asking for the name of the really nice and helpful server who cashed me out.
I am glad I found this spot. A delightful spot for coffee lovers who just want a trusty yet good coffee that we can’t make ourselves at home, sans all the atmosphere. Besides, I love the idea of patronizing neighborhood cafes that are good at what they serve up. I plan to come back and try other coffee flavors and their smoothies, too.
