Cresskill Hot Bagels

Bagels are kind if rubbery and bland. Guy with the goatie make super sloppy sandwiches. My wrap fell apart. And my bagel was so messy. Kind of slopped together. The owner isn’t very nice. I used to go there all the time but I stopped. On my last visit I asked for no pickles because I’m allergic. When my sandwich had a pickle I asked them to take it out. But my sandwich was covered in pickle juice. Had to throw it away.

Every time I’ve come here, not only does the service completely suck but so does the food. Apparently their grill closes at 5 but at 415 they refuse to use it to make scrambled eggs for a sandwich? Inexcusable. On all occasions I’ve unfortunately visited this location, the coffee orders always get fucked up. And the milk in my latest coffee is most definitely sour. If I could give this place — 5 rating I would. It does not deserve to be open. The owner was simply like «no. No grill.» Wtf? Don’t tell a customer it’s open till 5 then say I’m not doing it. Terrible business. Food is gross and I tried something different every time. Just a disappointing experience every time. Never come. Also, I found tons of egg shells in my egg salad. Absolutely ridiculous. Obviously the owner and staff don’t care about the customers.

The bagels are the only good thing about this place-​if and when they remember to toast them, or give them to you as you ordered. I have to say, I never go out of my way to write a bad review but this staff has certainly earned it. Listless, humorless, inept are just a few words I would use to describe every single experience I have at this place. They manage to mix up the simplest orders and over complicate anything else. The bagels themselves haven’t done anything wrong, I feel bad for them. They are fine. However, after today I will most certainly not give these people any more of my money. Does customer service mean anything anymore?

Service stinks.

Fresh ingredients for everything, nice service and lots of variety. Bagels. Salads, cookies & coffee.

I just moved to the area and my friends who live in the area told me that this place had the great bagels.
