Although the outside says«Cresskill Pizza», you walk in and everything says«Ray’s Pizza and Pasta». No big deal! However, I was not sure, where to leave my horrible review. I ordered a small pie with sausage and spinach. That’s not a hard request, right? It was $ 15.50. That’s a bit pricey but okay. Cashier and gentleman next to her were rude and short. I get the pizza home and it is undercooked. The ingredients were pretty tasty but poorly exexuted. The lady in front of me said she wanted to open her pizza box to make sure her pie was cooked. I guess, this is normal at this place. Bottom line, I will not be going back. Bad service and bad pizza are not okay.

This pizza SHITS on the pizzeria on the same block… Ray’s pizza sucks balls… Cresskill Pizza is where it’s at… I used to work there… They are extremely professional with handling and cooking the food… The food there is great. the wraps, sandwiches and slices… Go for the crazy slices over the plainer ones… Taco, baco potato, telefunk, whatever has alot of shit on it is good… ask them for their chili dog pizza its fucking CRACK… i dont like hot dogs but that pizza is so goddamn good… and thin crust margherita… Awesome place.

Friend and I were visiting from Boston this weekend and heard great things about Cresskill Pizza. We went in, ordered a pizza(half pepperoni, half bacon potato pie) and loved it! The crust, the sauce was excellent and the toppings were so tasty. The staff was so nice and hospitable, I hope to be back soon to order another pie or hopefully Cresskill Pizza. Hopefully they can deliver to all the way to Boston? lol. Great place!

Nice, roomy, restaurant with friendly employees. The pizza here is OK, however I think the sauce needs a few more touches of salt to satisfy my craving. I mentioned to them my frustration and they Said they are always happy to help out no matter where I’m from! I will probably go back here for in few months to give it another shot!

Good, not great. Better than the place next door. You don’t have much option for neighborhood pizza in cresskill. They tend to leave the pizza out until they are sold. So it’s not the best at night when you take a bite of the old crusted pizza. But at least the ones selling well are fresh…

I wish they took the pizza by spatula or wore gloves. The fact that they took my pizza by hand to put in the oven was a turn-off. Two stars because the white cheese pizza was good.

We usually order here on Saturday night. I highly recommend the mac and cheese balls and the garlic cheesy bread. If your planning on getting pizza close to there closing time make sure you order in advance so they have your food. We ordered pizza once time close to ten pm and they took our order and then had to call us back to say they ran out of dough. Also they stop delivering at 9:30. Pizza can be doughy sometimes but overall we Like there pizza!

Good list of options and fresh ingredients. Quick delivery. I can’t ask for more from a pizza place.

If you come here an hour before closing, expect limited options, half-assed service and hard crusted pizza. I could tell their pizza had real potential but I guess from sitting out too long, the crust firmed up and was inedible(even after reheating). The woman that worked that night was rather snippy. As you place your order, she interrupts and rudely tells you to hold on as she runs off to throw other pizza into the oven. If you’re not ready to take orders, why not wait until you’re actually ready and paying attention? This happened twice to me & also to the man placing his order before us.

I ate lunch here twice while in the area. Both times the place was empty. The service was friendly but the food was nothing special. Decent pizza but for 2 Sicilian slice with a can of coke is a bit overpriced especially for the area. Im sure you can find better places.

Had a meeting nearby and did a Unilocal search for a quick lunch and this place came up as highly rated. Parking was free and available on the street right in front… I guess most people park in back. The girl behind the counter was nice and heated up the pizza slices. I sat at the counter/bar that abuts the storefront windows and faces the street. I had a plain slice and a Margherita style slice(fresh mozzarella, basil, tomato). Pizza was about medium thickness, with the type of crust you’d want to eat. The sauce was delicious, and that’s essential to a good pizza. The cheese was a plenty. I’d say the pizza was pretty darn good. Unilocal came through again and I would definitely come back next time I’m in the area.

If you order a fresh pie you’ll get a decent but very average pizza. Go in for slices when it’s not busy and you can tell this pizza simply doesn’t hold up well if it’s not fresh out of the oven. I ordered a couple of slices which obviously had been sitting around for a while and it was so bad I took a few bites and threw it out. I’m pretty sure this place won«Best Pizza in Bergen County» status a couple of times in the annual Record newspaper poll. Frankly, I’m a bit suspicious of how that is possible… this place is average at best.

Really solid place. My family ordered dinner here last night & everyone enjoyed what they ate. We didn’t try their pizza, but we did try a few of their wraps and sandwiches and a their salad. My veal parm sandwich was delicious and portioned great. My mom ordered a chicken wrap and the grilled chicken was seasoned perfectly. This will probably be our new go-to delivery place and next time I’ll make sure to try their pizza + garlic knots.

Average pizza. Got a Baco-potato to go which was really good and lived up to all the hype. However, I also got slices of buff chicken and a regular. You could taste that the slices have been sitting around all day. Which was surprising bc it was around 1pm on a Friday. I would have thought that the pizza would have been fresher. Overall the pizza isn’t bad, you just shouldn’t get a slice there. If going, you should order a fresh pie though.

The best pizza in Northern NJ I have had to date! The Ultra Thin Fresh Mozzarella pie is amazing along with their sicilian pies. We typically get pepperoni, onions on one pie and spinach and mushrooms on the others. All ingredients are fresh and particularly would note the jalapeños are super HOT so get them on the side or be prepared to remove them or place them on other slices. Even the garlic knots are on point. My daughter eats more of those than the pizza. I have been in search for a good pizza place close to home for awhile trying many ones that get 4 – 5 star reviews on Unilocal but this is the best one to date. They have a lot of specialty pies that I look forward to trying. Looking forward to my next pie.
