Food is good but the service leaves little to be desired. Came in with a big group miltiple times and they still had us order at the counter. It’s inconvenient when there’s is 10+ and your spending a lot of money.

just for the fact that you guys advertise a closing time of 2 AM, and you arent open at 1:00 AM, I hate you with a burning passion. You can be as traditional as you want but when it comes to things like advertising, try to keep up. if you don’t want to work till 2 AM, I understand… who does? Its your obligation to make sure that the customer knows that.

The best pizza shop in Cresskill, and there are a few! Lots of good creative slices, good red sauce, and the best Sicilian slice I’ve had… may even be better than Rudys in Closter, and that’s saying something! Not a relaxing place to dine, lots of in and out, so keep that it mind or get it to go.

We frequent this local spot for pizza and inexpensive Italian entrees. You can BYOB and bring the kids! The pasta fagule (sp?) is great! And so are the sautéed broccoli rabe and spinach sides. The pasta marinara is good too. It’s all over salty. That’s my only complaint.
As for the attitudes people refer to in these reviews — this is NJ! It’s hard not to find rude behavior at restaurants, I hate to say it but that’s my experience. I am trying to just get used to it and not let it bother me. The young kids are also rude too. What has the world come to? The pizza here is the best around. if anything try that! And they have Italian ices!

Terrible service, I was treated incredibly rudely.
I ordered based on their menu online. When I got there, I was charged more money than what was stated on the menu online. I informed the cashier of the price online and he showed me the physical menu showing higher prices. He said nothing and left in the middle of ringing up the food.
I can forgive the price mistake and actually paid the higher price, but the cashier’s rude attitude was inexcusable and I will not be returning.
I can’t speak for any other food items, but we tried their eggplant wrap and it was soggy. Their Panini was not on typical panini bread, and was very bland.
Try this location at your own risk.

How is this for completely stupid. We ordered an Italian Hero with everything including Mayo and EXTRA vinegar. The sandwich arrived with packets of GENERIC mayonnaise and a container of Italian dressing. When I called the ARROGANT Owner to complain, he said you must never have ordered a sandwich here that’s how we send them. Um, we have been ordering from you for 6 years and we NEVER received packets of disgusting mayonnaise and salad dressing when we have a specific order requesting condiments a certain way. Also, this is NEW JERSEY, serve your submarines properly, how your customer order them or they will go 2 doors down to a shop that knows how to make a sandwich properly and to the customer’s specifications.

I usually just order a small chopped salad and I love it! However, I wanted to be adventurous and tried the Buffalo Pizza.. . I AM ADDICTED!!! As I write this review my mouth waters just thinking how great it was! A MUST HAVE!

Didn’t try the pizza as I was told it wasn’t that good.
That said the pasta entrees were amazing. I especially enjoyed the chicken francaise and the chicken alla ray. Both were very flavorful and well made with fresh ingredients. Only downsides are the price and time it takes to make the orders.

Fresh Mozz Pizza is amazing, White slice is very nice, but the dinning area can sometimes be over-​run by teens hanging out and… being teens… Take out works well if this is a problem.

Ray’s was a pleasant surprise since we have been going to Cresskill Pizza which is literally right next door.
The service was cordial, fast, and the food was good. The pizza was tasty, a nice crispy crust, and flavorful.
You need a good pizza joint in the neighborhood and we found ours. And this is coming from a New Yorker who moved to NJ!

Ray’s has so many different flavors including whole wheat pizzas. If you are looking for something out of the ordinary like taco pizza or loaded french fry pizza give this little place a try.

Ray’s offers among the best pizza in Bergen County. Their strength is their range. They make a strong showing with their über-​traditional Margherita pizza, but they also have great «new wave» pizzas including an outstanding Buffalo Chicken pizza.
They also offer a deep Italian menu that also merits attention.
