Great little trip into the past. I laugh at Mel’s review, like you live in Beverly Hills! The store services its clients from the area. Love to roam the store when I come to my cabin. Fudge is wonderful. Store personnel is always pleasant. If it’s not at the Trunk it most likely at Lake Hardware. Owner is very hands-on and cares.

I have been going here since I was a little kid for the candy bar. Now that I’m an adult I go there even more. In the past year I have noticed some fabulous changes to the store especially the frabrics, crafts and gifts sections. Every time I go holly helps me out. She is amazing! She always helps me find just what I’m looking for and somethings that I would have never thought of doing. She is always pleasant and super helpful. When you go to the oak trunk make sure you have holly help you! You won’t regret it!

Perfect little store. Deals every day during the week. Open until six most days. Cheap art supplies and delicious fresh candy. A great stop to go to if your visiting crestline or live there.

Lovely store with lots of touristy stuff and the best chocolatier we’ve ever found! The buyer has a real eye for quilting fabric as well.

Fantastic customer service, great selections… it’s the perfect little mountain shop! Plus, you have to try the freshly made fudge and candies made on site… delicious!

Great little all purpose general type store. If there is something random you need, they probably have it. The prices aren’t even horrible like you’d expect them to be up here. I’ve gone in there several times for things I didn’t want to drive down the mtn for. Not a fan of the fudge. We actually ended up throwing our away. Oh well, still a great little store in Crestline.

They sell many different things, kinda unrelated to each other, but still nice. A lot of toys, nice ice cream, some«general store stuff»(stationery etc.). Really huge selection of home-made fudge, which we didn’t try though, since we are not great fans of it :)

Here’s a throwback to the dime stores and variety stores of the past, a little like Woolworth’s — a little bit of everything. It’s great in a pinch for stationery, quick small gifts of costume jewelry, basic craft supplies, and the pair of socks you forgot to pack, and occasionally you can find a surprise at a bargain price(like a Baggallini bag at a pittance, though prices have gone up). But the useful resides next to the kitschy, too, such as figurines of gnomes and bears. Good selection of candy, including hand-dipped chocolates, plus ice cream in a cone or dish.

Our very own cheesy little store located next to the neighborhood Post Office! They sell candies galore, ice cream, stationaries, greeting cards, arts and crafts, lipsticks, and many other home knick knacks like trash containers, hangers, and laundry baskets. In a small town like Crestline, I suppose we need stores like this.
