Sacred Elements Tattoos & Metaphysics

I have found my new permanent tattoo artist, with Dave at his shop. I just got my first, of what is sure to be many, tattoo’s from him on Wednesday.
When I first talked to him about a month ago he was very professional, very friendly and quoted me a good price for what I wanted done. He also has great deals on four hour and eight hour sessions, which I thought was awesome.
When I finally committed to the tattoo, I went in about a week ago to set my appointment. Dave bent over backwards to make my insane schedule fit into one of his available times and I seriously appreciated that. He asked for a $ 20 cash deposit when I made the appointment. which was completely reasonable and went towards the price of my tattoo upon completion. *Tip: Make an appointment a week before. He fills up extremely fast and I now see why!
Dave is truly an artist of epic proportions and when I told him that I wanted the word ‘Redeemed’ with my sobriety date on my forearm, he used his experience and artistic talent to make what was originally a rather dull but meaningful idea into something beautiful and amazing.
He did quick, beautiful work and really kept the pain to a minimum. It was everything that a tattoo experience should be.
On another note, Dave has got to be one of the most sincere, big hearted people I’ve met in a long time. His beliefs and the way he presents them to people are refreshingly honest and straight forward. It was a definite experience to be in his shop and to have met him.
My fiancé and I are already planning a four hour session with him and are looking forward to getting some cover ups done for my fiancé.
Oh, and Anthony is pretty cool too. He brings tacos.

Hi Artwork is beautiful. Well from what I have seen… His work is in the album — not on the walls of the shop… His service and attitude… not so much. I put down a deposit in good faith… The first appointment I had with him — he cancelled. We rescheduled and I had to cancel. From then on he had been super sketchy… I asked him MANY times for a sketch of what he could do for me. At first he said he would work on it. Three weeks later (when I was already upset about his lack of communication) Then he said he had to sketch his idea on my skin. He never mentioned setting up an appointment for that.
I never anticipated being treated so rudely. I went to his shop yesterday to claim my $ 50 deposit. I have called this guy more that a few times and stopped by his shop a couple times. The last time it was just to obvious he was avoiding me. (He was ghost hunting — seriously?)
He tried to hand me a $ 20 bill and said, «You’re not getting $ 50 dollars from me — you missed your appointments and I don’t want your business» Dude seriously… I am not the one. I have NEVER been rude to him… or missed my appointments… In fact — we only set 2. The 1^st he cancelled and the second I cancelled IN ADVANCE. I didn’t waste his time. I think he was just showing off to his friends in the shop but man… what a piece of work this guy is.
I would rather lose $ 50 dollars than take even his measly $ 20. He just made $ 50 dollars for nothing. He NEVER sent me 1 sketch… or quite frankly even a google image of what he was thinking of doing.
You are a disgrace. I would NEVER recommend you to anyone.

This place is so well stocked with vaporizers, accessories and juices, and they are more affordable than driving down the hill. Ive been to the other smoke shops in town, and they dont compare at all. I’d hate to see them go out of business, we need to give our business to our local shops. Every employee I’ve encountered really knows what they are selling, and I appreciate that. Super helpful staff! The only complaint I have is the hours, but I understand our small town probably doesnt justify being open as often as a smoke shop in a big city. Love these guys!

Just got a tattoo by Dave and I love it! Dave is a very personable, kind, fun person to be around and that just made the whole experience more enjoyable. My boyfriend and I both got tattoos there and we both couldn’t be happier with his work. I had mentioned to him that I was nervous for a tattoo on my rib cage, so he gave me a numbing patch and it helped so much! It literally took him 10 minutes to do 3 beautiful words on me and I hardly felt a thing! We left the shop happy and with a new friend. :) Thanks Dave! (He also did my belly button when I was 18 and did a great job)
