I kinda combined two different visits into one review but oh well. The service on both visits was some of the best I’ve had from any restaurant I’ve been to. Glasses get refilled quickly, orders taken promptly, and just a very positive place to be. We tried out several different pizzas, each of which I will detail below. Ryan’s Inferno: This is their version of a Buffalo chicken pizza. It comes with Buffalo chicken(duh), ranch, Mozzarella and gorgonzola cheese. It has a plenty big kick to it which is good and they put big chicken pieces on there too. The ranch flavour finished it off nicely.(Note the pizza also comes with red onion and celery also which I had left off.) Definitely different than the everyday pizza but very delicious. 9.5 out of 10 Pepperoni, Sausage, and Bacon Pizza This was one of the construct your own pizzas so I loaded it with meat. Their sauce was very flavourful and the pizza wasn’t drowned with it which is a good thing. They use a flat almost Italian style sausage which was good. Add in the bacon and pepperoni and you have a fantastic meat trio. Great crust on every pizza we got too. Not to thick and not to thin just right in the middle. 9.5 out of 10 Wild Mushroom Pizza This was a pizza with every mushroom I knew existed. Unfortunately I had to have it on a gluten free crust which did take away from the overall experience of the pizza because the crust was burned along the outside :(not cool if you ask me but what can you do. Crust aside I loved the pizza it had many flavours that I personally love and if you’re a mushroom person I would defonatly recommend it just don’t get it on a gluten free crust unless you like your crust extra crispy along the edge 7 out of 10 (This pizza review brought to you by my daughter Biz) Socrates Revenge This is their Greek style pizza. It had all of the Greek staples including feta, spinach, fontina and more. The flavours were well balanced with olives working especially well here. Could of put a little more feta on it but I always want tons of feta on my stuff. All in all a good representation of a Greek Pizza. 9 out of 10 (This pizza review brought to you by Emily, my wife) Well that’s all of the pizzas we’ve sampled so far. Stop by a sample some for yourself. You won’t regret it.

The atmosphere: This was my first experience with Dewey’s so I cannot compare it to any other location. This location has a very hip industrial style feel. It is fairly simply decorated and incredibly clean. There is a bar with a good looking selection of craft beers, which I did not partake of this time. It is there but not the centerpiece of the establishment. It is certainly not a detriment to bringing children in with you. The staff: super friendly and attentive. The service: From the very first interaction we were treated like honoured guests. The manager took a moment after she seated us to explain the menu since it was our first visit. Our server was amazing. He took several minutes talking to us about his favorites and even gave us an idea of things to come including a fall salad that made my mouth water in anticipation of cooler weather. The entire experience made us feel special, even courted. They went out of the way to welcome us and make us feel excited to come back. The service was simply wonderful. The food: the food, the food, the glorious food… honestly this was probably the best pizza I have ever eaten. The salad was awesome. I have found my new favorite salad place. All of the ingredients for both salad and pizza were obviously fresh. You can watch them make your pizza through glass. We were pleasantly surprised to find that they have gluten free crust so our daughter will be able to have pizza instead of being stuck with a salad. The specialty pizzas all look delicious. Personally I tried Socrates revenge. It was delicious blend of white sauce, cheeses, green and black olives, tomato, onion, spinach, and feta cheese. The toppings were so well blended that each bite had a gracious amount of everything. The crust was chewey and delicious all on it’s own with just enough to carry the flavours and not to much to make it too much dough. The flavours exploded beautifully in your mouth. It was a delight. My salad was a strawberry macadamia nut affair. The nuts were perfectly toasted, the spring mixed greens were fresh, the strawberries were tart and wonderful, the dressing was fresh made in store and the sprinkling of bleu cheese added the perfect creaminess. It was fantastic. The jist: Get in your car, drive to Dewey’s, eat heavenly food, repeat often.

This is probably my favorite Dewey’s location because the service is friendly and super efficient and it’s less crowded/easier to get in & out than the other NKY location in Newport. My most recent experience here was dinner with my family(2 adults, 1 child). We all shared a large candied walnut & grape salad to start and then shared a medium(13″ pizza) – half Ryan’s Inferno(buffalo chicken) and half Southwest BBQ Chicken. We all loved everything! My only slight complaint on this visit was that the sauce on the SWBBQ Chicken seemed much spicier than usual – not sure if they changed the recipe or was just a one-off spicier batch. Even though Dewey’s pizza is more expensive than a national chain, it’s still a good value for the quality, taste and overall experience.

Came there today for lunch and it was amazing. My husband and I have three small kids and the guys making pizza behind the window played with them, our server brought out grapes and shredded cheese while we waited for our pizzas because kids are not the most patience customers and the food was delicious. I had the ball park pizza and it hit the name spot on! Our glasses never got less than half full the manager and other servers checked on us and got us refills when needed, it was a really nice experience. It was nice to see the team work!

My wife and I enjoy eating at Dewey’s every once and while when we want to eat some toppings you typically can’t get at other places.

Pizza is fresh and amazing! But that Candied Walnut & Grape salad with peppercorn ranch dressing thou :0 … Get out of here. Those little Gorgonzola crumbles, grapes, walnuts and field greens all paired together to make the most beautiful bite. Hmm. You can’t replicate it. Already tried. Wish I knew how.

Besides the seemingly constant cool draft, this is my favorite Dewey’s location. Service is always fast and friendly, and I like that the servers help each other. Also, salads are always perfectly dressed. If you are uncertain about what to get, I highly recommend a side house salad, as their vinaigrette is amazing. As far as pizza goes, my favorites are: 1) Ryan’s Inferno; 2) Meatball; 3) Wild Mushroom. Dewey’s has the best pizza in the Greater Cincinnati area!

A few of my friends and I wanted to try and go for lunch but knew it might be a stretch for only an hour. We called ahead of time and voiced our concerns. The manager, Drew, said he would take care of us and to come on in. We were not dissappointed! We were in and out within plenty of time to get back to work within an hour. The service was excellent, the server even brought our bill early because she knew we had a time constraint. Thank you to Drew and the Dewey’s staff! We will be back!

Oh, Deweys… I still remember my first encounter at Dewey’s back when they first opened their Newport location in 2001. The pizza is phenomenal! The toppings are authentic and fresh. And the CRUST, well, it’s amazing. The crust is a perfect combo of pastry-like texture and weight, with just the right amount of doughiness. The Bronx bomber and Hawaiian pizzas are my favorites. I personally love the red sauce pizzas over the white sauce ones. But beyond pizza, Dewey’s has outstanding salads! Their house salad is soooooooo good! The salad dressings are made in-house. Seriously though, their house dressing is lick-the-plate-clean good and their ranch dressing is awesomely thin and flavorful(rather than thick and clumpy like at most places). Dewey’s ranch dressing also pairs great with any of their pizzas(e.g. crust-dipping). The service is also consistently great. The staff have a team approach to serving, which works very well. All in all, Dewey’s is one of my all-time favorite places to eat!

We love the quality ingredients, creative combinations and depth of flavor here. Salads aren’t just you’re typical salad options. Customer service here is consistently AMAZING, too. Tonight I carry-out ordered a gluten free pizza and didn’t ask for cheese on a make-your-own but didn’t specify no cheese. I can’t have cheese, so they happily remade it for me — totally my mistake. The manager even met us in the parking lot to give us the new one! I already know my order is high maintenance, but they had a good attitude about it. I don’t expect restaurants to have offerings that will work with my dietary constraints, but they do… and great service to go with it.

First time visiting Dewey’s while moving my son in at NKU. My family arrived at lunch to a little wait, maybe 5 minutes. We ordered a 17″ Bronx Bomber and an 11″ Pepperoni. Upon arriving to the table, the server told us that they were not pleased with the overdone pepperoni pizza and would take care of it. A few minutes later a fresh pizza arrived with no charge for either. Great service, food, and ingredients.

Our first visit. The servers were incredibly helpful and attentive. The Greek salad was delicious, especially the house Greek dressing. We ordered three different pizzas and a calzone. All were wonderful. I especially liked the white sauce combined with pesto and sun dried tomatoes. Our drinks were kept full and we didn’t have to wait for boxes or our bills. We have definitely found our new pizza place! We will be back!

Great pizza! I had the seasonal one with white sauce, prosciutto, and topped with arugula(after it’s already cooked). They have this tangy sauce on it as well which gives it a nice flavorful kick! The service was great and I would definitely come back if I ever visit Cincinnati again.

I found Dewey’s via Unilocal,so thank you to all the Unilocalers giving them great reviews because it was amazing! I ordered take out from Dewey’s and made my own calzone. I really liked how you could choose up to three topping to put inside(instead of most places only let you do one and charge extra for more)! The calzone was huge and still hot when I brought it home. The girl on the phone was professional and I was quickly helped when I went to pick up my order! I will definitely be back!

Dewey’s Pizza is awesome. Just learned today that you can buy just their dough and make your own pizza at home, which we will def. have to try in the future. I think their toppings and combinations are great. The Green Lantern is on my bucket list. I can never pull the trigger with the goat cheese. Anyone have any comments on the GL? My wife and I love this place and have made it a family tradition to celebrate birthdays here! You get to keep a commemorative«D» glass for your big day

Quaint pizzeria! Met up with family for lunch. Having never eaten here we decided to give it a try. We thought there was plenty on the menu to choose from. If you can’t find what you’re looking for simply special order your pizza! We had the seasonal salad special: Harvest Salad Field Greens with Figs, Applewood Bacon, Roasted Pumpkin Seeds, and Boursin Cheese, tossed with our Apple Cider Vinaigrette(minus the bacon). It was delicious! The half order is plenty if you’re also ordering pizza which the hubster and I did. We decided on the 11″ pizza, except he wanted one pizza and I wanted another. No problem! Half caprice and half wild mushroom ~ perfect! The dough is wonderful. We would definitely come here again ~ and apparently that’s the feeling from others as there was a steady line the whole time we were there. We started with lunch and welcomed in the dinner crowd!

Quick trip to Cincy with my mom and decided to stop for lunch. Pulled up my handy Unilocal app and scratched all«chains» in search of something different. Up pops Dewey’s. We gave it a shot. So so so happy we did. Amazing service from jump. Server took the time to explain the red and white pizzas, the seasonal selections(one pizza and one salad), and was super friendly. He explained that Dewey’s is actually technically a chain… But by this point I didn’t care. I was so in to the descriptions of the unique pizzas that it was hard to narrow it down to one half and half for mom and me. We decided to do one half«red» — the Green Lantern — and one half«white» — Socrates’ Revenge. Green Lantern goodness: red sauce, mozz, minced garlic, goat cheese, artichokes, pesto. Yum. Socrates’ Revenge: olive oil, minced garlic, mozz-fontina blend, spinach, black olives, green olives, feta, red onion, tomatoes. SO good. Usually the crust is a «throw away» for me … But not at Dewey’s. They make their dough from scratch and it shows. Light and almost buttery — I could not get enough. Wow. Not to be forgotten, we split the Grape Walnut salad — and it was super tasty. Rumor has it that the calzones are also amazing here… On my list to try. Our server mentioned they may expand to Indy as they also have places in St. Louis. I will totally frequent Dewey’s if this is the case. So so so good!
