This iHop is horrible, as soon as I finished my food I run to the restroom to vomit. When I informed the manager on staff(his name is Quincey) he was not considerate at all. He was very rude he ask me a very inappropriate question(Was I pregnant?). I didn’t appreciate the service I received. NEVEREATHERE!!!

Epitome of mediocrity. I know it’s ihop and not a five star gourmet restaurant but taking a little pride in your establishment can go a long way. Food is never quite hot enough(I like mine piping hot) and if you order something with fruit, it’s clear they got it right out the freezer. My strawberries are ALWAYS frozen in the middle! Waitresses are nice enough, I guess, though they don’t seem to be very knowledgeable about the menu, food comes out fast, though not hot enough, it’s just a mediocre joint through and through. You won’t leave out of there impressed, but you won’t leave out of there swearing you’ll never return either.

Save your money, food was cold, coffee cold, waitress had attitude, total waste of money I could’ve tossed money out the window

If you’re looking for a mediocre restaurant for any kind of food, this is it. The food is served warm, not hot, if you happen to get the correct order, which, after going here for years, I can say only happens half the time. The servers don’t really know the menu. It is a warm environment which is always packed with hungry purple. They have a great variety of menu items to choose from for all hours of the day.

I’m a fan of IHOP since it’s a family favorite. This particular IHOP always demonstrates excellent customer service. Rarely do we have to wait for an extended time to have our family of 7 seated. They have a nice flow of customers entering and exiting. The other day, one of my daughter’s pumpkin pancakes were served about 15 minutes after all our other orders were served. The manager informed us of the delay prior to the delay. And prior to being served the pumpkin pancakes, he ensured us the item would be taken off the bill. They care about customer satisfaction and it shows. Delicious breakfast entrees and great customer service has made us regulars.

Food has always been good at IHOP, but the crowd at this was is a little rough. And it would be nice to see one waitress with her hair brushed. They all look like they just woke up.

Kind of dirty. When I arrived the host had a wet towel in her had and rushed to a dirty looking bucket. Wiped her hands on her apron and welcomed me… not sure if that was a good sign… lol I left the restaurant.

Tried the new Chorizo fiesta omelette and it was delicious! The chili lime sauce is really tasty too, it’s spicy but flavorful and I like IHOP but this was even better than I expected. Great service also, I always come to this location.

Decent breakfast. I wanted to go to Stax, but my hunny wanted to make sure we get back home in time to see the Bulls game, so we decided to go somewhere closer. We’ve been to this location several times, its IHOP, they can’t really screw up breakfast. Food is good, service is kinda slow on Sundays, but what can you expect.

I went here last night with my boyfriend and best friend for a late night dinner and it seems like the IHOPs in the area are a gathering spot for hoodrats looking for a late night watering hole to get their grub on. I ordered a philly cheese steak minus the onions(onions mess up my stomach) and it was terrible because the steak was way overdone because steak should be at least juicy not overly crispy and charred in some areas. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, but she looked tired and about ready to fall out and go to sleep, but she was working until 6am. They need to have people on duty who are able to work late and overnight shifts because not everyone can handle being up when you’re used to sleeping. The food is ok, but I’ve had a lot better places for breakfast and dinner items. I don’t like the fact that these 24 hour places attract hoodrats and ghetto elements when not everyone is fond of a gang of obnoxious can’t act like they got some home training hoodrats coming in and commandeering the rear of the restaurant. Either way it’s the only place open off Cicero Avenue during the very late hours of the night if you’re looking for something other than fast food. I would have settle for chicken and waffles, but I go to other locations for that since they make it better. I would have given higher stars, but in this case it didnt warrant such a rating.

Abysmal service by waitress. To make matters even worse, the waitress obviously called in her own evaluation, the one I was supposed to complete as the customer, to avoid my scathing review. I reported this abominable service by her to the manager and the manager seemed totally unconcerned. I also told the manager that the waitress had completed her own evaluation before handing me the evaluation to call in, and the manager so foolishly said she would«ask her if she did it». This manager must be a total moron to think the waitress would admit to filling out her own evaluation form. At any rate, even though the food was OK, the waitress’s horrible service became the focus of the meal and totally ruined any pleasure in the meal. So I would definitely advise against this place!

I stopped in for a quick breakfast with my boyfriend before he had to drop me off for class at St. Xavier. IHOP pancakes are great, but locations vary greatly otherwise. Our favorite location is still the one in Hoffman Estates. The service there is great, it’s open 24 hours, and they give you a whole biscuit instead of half with the western skillet(it’s the little things that count, ya know?!) This location in Crestwood had rushed, less than friendly service, and the food took forever.

Thank goodness they can do pancakes, because everything else is just not good. Each time I go, I get pancakes and other items. Why??? I am so dumb to think that one day those side items that sound good, still are not good. However, their pancakes are delicious, fluffy buttery goodness. And the fact that they have different types of syrup, strawberry being my favotire, is also exciting. So from now on, pancakes only please. Thank you.

Okay, so here it is: a completely and utterly biased review. Why, Courtney(one might ask with a look of shock upon a once-smiling face)? Two words, my friend: food poisoning. Yup, so there’s that. My then-boyfriend-now-husband was also on the receiving end of said poisoning, and might I add it struck about two hours into a four hour drive to bear witness to his brother’s graduation from Southern Illinois University. Ever had food poisoning on a road trip? Well, let me tell you… it is FAIL x infinity + million. Have I mentioned this event took place in 2005 and from which I am still scarred? So, yeah. Once you have food poisoning, it kinda ruins a place’s mojo for ya, you know? But! Be that as it may, I still was able to give two stars for all the numerous times this IHOP has fed me back in my *ahem* younger years when I’d roll in during the wee hours of the morning, drunk off my ass. For that, I’ll be forever grateful. But in case you missed the element for which I am *not* grateful, let me remind you: food poisoning. Also, it’s not the cleanest of places, but most of the time, the staff is super nice. So there’s that.
