Gyros are a weakness for me so I decided to stop in and give it a try, I got a sandwich shop feel but only with DIY Gyros, I decided on the staple lamb gyro and after waiting in line for almost 20 minutes(there were only 2 people in front of me) I added the fries as well. Found it was a little odd that while they had a traditional spit for the meat they cooked it on the grill, that seemed to add time to the process, I got my gyro with the normal toppings, lettuce, tomato, feta, onion, tzatziki sauce on a white pita, the meat had great flavor although the sauce was overwhelming and maybe a bit bitter. The fries(said they had a special house seasoning right on the menu) were very bland, and a little soggy, guess it saved the waistline a little by not eating them. Overall the wait was a little too long for a gyro, but the food(except the fries) was tasty, I’ll likely be back but this won’t be my go to spot. Give it a go.

Been sampling all the Gyros around town and this one is one of the best! The generous portion of lamb+beef was moist and delicious and toppings all fresh and complimentary. Price is right too. I will be coming back and might make this one of my regular stops.

As gyros go… not my favorite but good. The meat is more chunky than your typical thinly sliced traditional gyros. I did like the option to add to the sandwich«subway style» which I added feta and it was. Worth it. Gyros overall were ok… nothing that makes it a must stop when in the area.

Tried to go here 5 times when I was in the area, never any parking in the inadequate strip mall lot, didn’t have 45 minutes to circle the lot looking for a space.

The Gyros were not good at all. The two young kids working there didn’t seem interesting in serving me either. Don’t think we will be back.

We had heard of this gyro place from some friends and were in the area today, so decided to try it out. The menu had a lot of different variations of meats and presentations. We got a lamb gyro and a lamb gyro st louis cheesesteak with fries. The restaurant set up is somewhat like a sandwich shop, so after the meat was in the bread/pita, you could tell them what you wanted on top. I elected to have feta as the cheese for the cheesesteak and that was a really good choice. We also included cucumbers, tomatoes, olives and tzatziki sauce. Both items were really big and loaded with meat and very tasty. We added the fries and drink for $ 2.50, and the fries were cooked to order, and were very good. Dipping them in the tzatziki was even better. So all in all, very impressed and will come back for sure as the food was really good, and the portions large for a good price.

If you are looking for an authentic gyro carved from a vertical rotisserie topped with fresh mediterranean veggies, this is your place. The gyros can be consumed in a pita or bowl. I found the lamb/beef combination to be just as delicious as the chicken. For those looking for a vegetable alternative, the falafel is also of high quality value. The owner truly cares about his restaurant and makes sure that all of his customers are fully satisfied. St. Louis is lucky to have delectable local places offering world cuisine such as St. Louis Gyros.

I like a good Gyro and St. Louis Gyro is an ok gyro. It is in the style of made fresh while you wait. You also pick out what you want on the gyro. I am not fond of this concept as I feel like I am at a Subway place instead of a gyro place. The taste was fine because I think I guessed correctly on the ingredients. This is a small establishment with limited tables. With drink I was at $ 12.00 which I thought was on the high side of what I wanted to spend.

The best gyro I’ve ever had, the secret is in the sauce, and it’s just WOW! Try their chicken and beef gyros, their fries are also very good.

We have eaten there multiple times and enjoyed the food very much. However, tonight we ordered our standard carryout gyros and were very disappointed. They were so bad that we will likely not return. The lettuce was floating in water and tomatoes were setting in juice. The young man made no effort to remove the water or juice. It dripped all over gyro as he was preparing it. When we got home the pitas were totally soaked, fell apart and were unappetizing. In fact, we did not eat them.

I’ve been here twice(back to back days) and was not disappointed on either occasion. They did not have the chicken Shawarma gyro the second time I went but I got the Tandoori chicken gyro and it was Delicious. They happily oblige when you ask for extra tzaziki sauce. Their way of making you choose what goes on the pita with the meat(the different veggie options just like in Subway) helps customize the ingredients which I liked. Overall a good place and would definitely go back again.

Made to order — love it. Great food takes time be prepared to wait for it but it’s worth it. Large serving of meat on the pita!!!

With all the reviews being at four and five I thought this place would be wonderful. It was just okay the salad was insignificant and the meat was too thick and not with that wonderful flavor you expect It was a Friday night and they’re only three other customers in the store. Everything was just okay we didn’t eat there because there was too much smoke from the grill in the shop.

It’s good take out food. Friendly service. Compared to what is around it’s great. I like the lamb/beef gyros and the baklava. Will defiantly eat at again.(I like the lamb/beef meat especially)

Stopped in here for a gyro to go after my hair appointment. Been wanting to try this place, as I am a gyros lover. I had the gyros sandwich combo, which came with fries and a drink. The fries were crinkle-cut, crispy and plentiful. So many that I filled up on them and could only eat half my sandwich :( The pita was fluffy and warm and they piled it with a mountain of tzatziki. I love tzatziki so that was a big plus. The meat was sliced off a spit and then chopped on the grill — I prefer mine thinly sliced off the spit and crisped up on the grill. The guy working was also very friendly. Its not my favorite gyros in town, but I would come back.

I went back for a gyro to-go after my hair date with Vince Walker, just a few stores down. It was too convenient NOT to go. They chop the lamb to put into the sandwich, even though they slice it off the spit. I added feta, red onions, lettuce, tomato, olives and tzatziki. All incredibly fresh ingredients. Gol, I love this combination. I ate the whole thing in one sitting, BUT I didn’t eat the pita. There was nothing wrong with it. It looked beautiful. I just didn’t want the carbs. I think next time, I’ll ask for a gyro without the pita. It was so good!
