We just got the fudge here, but it was delicious! The couple(and they are so very nice) that own the store make the fudge right upstairs, so its nice and fresh. The flavors are very unique, we wish we had bought more while we were there.

This is quite a gem in Cripple Creek. The fudge is EXCELLENT! Made with 100% pure fresh butter and cream, no margarines or substitutes are used. The other handmade candies are also top notch. The wife of this Duo makes ALL the fudge, chocolate candies, and brittle. That’s quite a feat for one woman! Sadly, they are now trying to sell the business to retire, which is well deserved! I just hope the new owners keep to the same standards.

We were super impressed with the quality of the candy in this store. They have a great selection of absolutely beautiful truffles as well as fudge and many other kinds of candy. We thought the woman helping us was really kind. I loved that she put each individual candy in its own separate mini bag so they didn’t rub off on each other and get mushed– I’ve never seen that before and really liked how it kept the candy fresh. My favorite of what we chose is the dark chocolate covered caramels with sea salt– they were excellent-perfect texture and flavor! My husband loved the toffee. We also tried some boysenberry bark which was unique and tasty. The caramel truffle was very good. I didn’t care for the black forest truffle very much(though it’s very pretty) because it had some kind of liqueur in it that I wasn’t expecting. Overall, the candy was delicious and we will absolutely stop in again next time we are in the area!

We found this cute candy shop and expected«penny candy» and were amazed to find fudge(they even had huckleberry fudge), truffles and wonderful chocolates. We sampled and bought fudge and caramels and found them both top rate. The fudge was creamy and smooth and fresh tasting. This is a hidden gem, be sure to stop in if you are anywhere near.

The shop owner was so kind! And so personable & passionate about his business! He let us sample everything & told us about how they made things. He had several regulars stop by during the course of our visit that let me know it’s always that good!!! And when other kids(not my own precipice angels) spilt candy he wasn’t the least put out by it. And the truffles are delicious!!! Our fav where the Bavarian cream & the peanut butter. He also had his wife make us fresh peanut butter cups! Yum!!! Every town should have a shop like this with a nice man behind the counter!

Love this shop and it’s staff! Lots to choose from and some great gifts. The fudge looked fabulous, but we opted to start off with the six piece truffle experience. The chocolate is very good, but it’s not, unfortunately, the best I’ve ever had. I find the fillings a bit thick with an almost plastic-like texture vs my favorite«cream» fills. And, at $ 1.75 per small truffle, it is a bit pricey. However, overall, I like the place, would return to try some of their other goodies, and definitely to shop. They were also very helpful to recommend two good diners in town. Very nice store — check it out!
