It’s charming and comfortable. We opted out of breakfast the first day as it was a «drunken mushroom» dish and it was very aromatic the second we stepped out of our room. We were approached 3 times about it and they tried to send us on a guilt trip. It made us feel weird. We were asked what we like for breakfast and told them we don’t usually eat breakfast but indulge in pancakes when we do. We were told the manager doesn’t do sweet. He only likes eggs. Breakfast the next morning was awkward as he hovered while we got coffee. We literally had to excuse ourselves to get around him to our table. He brought us fruit and told me I wasn’t eating it the way it was staged. I was confused and it made me ill at ease. That was the end of breakfast for me. I didn’t want anything more. Good coffee though. It’s a cute school house turned into a B&B. The managers should let folks relax a bit more on their trip and not worry about the details.

The Carr Manor went above and beyond our expectations of a hotel or bed & breakfast. The staff was very hospitable and the hotel itself is clean, historic, and close to all of the action that Cripple Creek has to offer. They offer an amazing breakfast every morning and our room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The next time we return to the area we will without a doubt stay at Carr Manor.

Just spent three nights at Carr Manor. Loved every minute of it. Excellent property staffed by wonderful people. Highly recommend.
