Lowe’s Home Improvement

I visited Lowe’s with my girls today. The parking lot is more than adequate and there are 3 different entrances into the store to make more spots in the parking lot convenient. The parking lot is also home to displays of tool sheds, trailers, outdoor fencing, a swing set, and more. It all looks very nice and strategically placed to be minimally intrusive.
Along with the regular carts, my daughters spotted a car cart. My 7 year old possesses a talent for entertaining my 3 year old but the car cart made the job effortless. We are always thankful for help entertaining.
The store was clean but a little cluttered with a few extra displays than I would have preferred throughout the aisles. All the departments were neat and tidy though, every shelf looked like it had just been freshly stocked. I was especially impressed that all the floor models were virtually dust free, not an easy task in a warehouse-​like environment.
We were greeted by every associate we saw, and asked if we needed help. I did need help twice, was taken to the items I was looking for, and the associates stayed with me until I was sure about what I’d selected. Management is doing a wonderful job guiding and teaching their associates on how to give exceptional customer service.
The store was in stock on 2 of the 3 items I needed today.
At checkout my kids were presented with chameleon pictures to color. The lady doing the check outs was very nice and we were very happy with our service there.
Before leaving the the store I had a couple of little ones with bathroom emergencies. The ladies room is huge, clean, and well-​stocked.
We had a good trip and will be back.

Just wanted a 2 ft by 4 ft piece of drywall instead of the typical 4×8 foot that drywall is usually sold as. 4×8 feet wouldnt fit into my car.
I politely asked the lady at the lumber area cash register who was doing absolutely nothing if she could help me. She seemed annoyed that I was bothering her. I asked her if there was anyone that she could find so I could have a 4×8 piece cut in half for me. She said, no we dont do that. You have to buy the entire piece. I told her Ill pay for the 4×8 but I would like it cut im half so it can fit in my car. I told her people have told me that Lowes will cut it for me if i ask. She said no again. Then she proceeded to tell me she can sell me a knife and I can cut it myself in the store. I said what! Youll sell me a knife? I told her Ill go to Home Depot and have them cut it for me and take my business elsewhere, sorry to bother you lady. She just said ok.
Went to Home Depot, was helped by a very nice gentleman. 10 minutes later walked out with my 2×4 piece of drywall satisfied. Thanks for nothing Lowes.

It’s difficult reviewing chain stores because for the most part, the only difference is lay out and staff.
Standard Lowes and set up. Anything you can find and need home improvement wise.
Staff here is helpful.

Ken, who works in power tools is highly focused on customer service and went out of his way to help me. In looking for the tool I needed he got down on the floor to find it. Big pat on the back for his unlimited patience and for going above and beyond to help.

Yes I asked for help from an employee at flooring and windows and stood around for like 20 minutes waiting for the specialized help. Umm i think i was one of the few customers in the store. When they arrived they told me to wonder around and try to match the tile that I was looking to match. Hmm. Went to hardware for help and they werent helpful either with some screws. This could be my first negative review ever. Clueless, take your business somewhere else. Maybe a hardware store.

Trying to find an employee to help you here is like trying to find a needle in a haystack.
Decent store if you know what you want and where it’s located.
Also, don’t get wood cut, they measure once and cut twice…

I’m not sure if Cromwell was the store I dealt with since I purchased a refrigerator on line and also spoke to a rep. Just wanted to say that they were very helpful on the price and the delivery process. The delivery guys were professional, set me up perfect, and I have no complaints whatsoever.
