The owner was extremely nice, we had a great happy hour with great drink prices and there was a free happy hour buffet. I haven’t seen that in years. We will be back! I recommend the nachos.

Lots of TVs showing every NFL game,
I drank lots of craft beers without any shame.
Pair those with great specials and tasty pub food,
You’ll be full, relaxed, and be in a great mood.
I like the Red Zone Tavern a lot. This place is newly renovated with a huge bar and a huge dining room. They always have some great craft beer favorites on tap such as Dogfishhead and Lagunitas, and they usually have a few local breweries including Broad Brook and Two Roads as well.
Some of their specials are unprecedented. On Mondays you can get a beer and a burger for $ 7. On Fridays they offer FREE FOOD and cheap beers during happy hour. During football games you can get $ 2 macro brews, and they have the Sunday Ticket (GO PACK GO!)
Other positives are a large parking lot, very nice bartenders, and delicious pub food. I have tried the nachos and fried mozzarella and neither have disappointed.
A great addition to the Greater Middletown area.

Came here for trivia a couple weeks. Both times the service was slow (not at all busy) and food was adequate but about 20% overpriced. Expect to be charged for literally anything, including getting a topping on the side!
