Ever since I’ve been a condo/home owner, I’ve been a fan of Sherwin Williams. Since moving to Middletown four years ago, this has been my primary location. It’s not the kind of place I need to go all the time, there are only so many rooms in the house! I recently decided to redo my half bathroom from a mint green to a nice shade of brown. I went in three separate times in three days, and every time, I encountered super nice and friendly employees. The first day I went in for color swatches. The woman working was so nice and helpful and told me that could match any color from any other store. She also told me about a 30% off promotion on paint through the end of the month. The second day, I went in for actual color samples to test out on the wall. I was helped by quite possibly THE nicest human being I have ever met. I didn’t get his name(if the management is reading this, it was Monday 12⁄7 around 5 pm) but I was having a terrible day and his smile and super cheery attitude seriously made me a little happier. He helped me pick a lighter color in the same family, mixed my paint samples, applied the coupon and made sure to tell me about it for when I came back for more paint, paint stirrers, everything I needed and more. I seriously hoped he would be there the next day when I went to get the paint we chose. He wasn’t, but there was someone almost just as nice there who helped me get what I needed. I have always loved Sherwin Williams paint, particularly the Durations Home interior latex paint. It’s good quality and long lasting. I’ve never drank the Benjamin Moore kool aid. So I will continue to shop at SW whenever I need paint, definitely the Cromwell location. The employees there should all be commended for being so helpful and friendly!
