Gross: bathroom was approaching gas-station level of filth, clearly they hadn’t mopped in at least a couple days. A urinal had clearly been out of service for a long time and was growing mold. Added to that, a member of the kitchen staff used the one working urinal before me and left without washing his hands. The food is reasonably priced but my ribs were so dry I had a hard time telling the meat from the bone. Even worse, the fries were perhaps the oldest fries I’ve ever had. Just terrible. Hopefully I don’t get sick from what I imagine is the world’s least clean kitchen!

Friendly staff, good food, clean restaurant, food gets there in a timely fashion and looks like it does in the menu probably the best Fridays I have been to

The inspiration(among others) for TGI McScratchy’s Goodtyme Foodrinkery. The food and beer selection beats fellow pin-antiques/old stuff-on-the-wall chains like Applebee’s, but not by much. It seems to work for groups as it’s generally inoffensive and has enough variety to give everyone SOMETHING, even though that something is mediocre. Also, kids and old folks seem to like it. This branch has average service and a slightly above average bar staff, so head there while you wait for a table. Who knows? A Jack and Coke may inspire you to get something off the Jack Daniels grille.

Not your average Fridays. Not that I know what an average Fridays is, but maybe i should. How many places do u know that carry Atlantico rum? Friday’s in Nitro does. Travis manages a thirsty crowd with ease and enthusiasm. And whaddya know, my korean steak tacos come with a free app. The spicy beef queso actually salvaged the bland bulgogi. Overall an incredible value.

It’s just TGIF, average food you find at every one of their restaurants.

I normally don’t frequent«American» style restaurants such as TGI Friday’s, Applebees, etc. since I can usually make what they make at home(vs. really good pizza, Asian food, etc.). However, we stopped at this TGI Fridays near the end of a long vacation to the Washington, D.C. area, and I must confess this was the best meal of the entire trip. The staff were very polite, efficient, and friendly. The burger I had was superb, and the waiter clued me on to a beer that I hadn’t had before and was very good(Magic Hat #9). So, after spending a LOT of money on Thai food and crab feasts in Washington, D.C.(not to mention $ 4.50 hot dogs on the National Mall), I have to say this restaurant provided the best eating experience of our entire 11 day trip.

Menu and food-wise this is your average Friday’s. However, I was a regular at the bar here for a number of years and the staff is great. That’s what really sets it apart. If you frequent the place often enough, they make a point to learn your name and are really attentive, even when busy. A great bunch!
