HORRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICE!!! The only reason I have put up with their disgraceful customer service for as long as I have, is due to the scarcity of sushi joints in the area. However, now their food quality has taken a turn for the worse as well! Hey Haiku, perhaps instead of spending money on remodeling and changing your aesthetics, you should increase your budget on staff and food quality! Maybe then you’ll have more customers and you’ll be able to keep loyal customers, loyal! P. S.– it’s VERY poor business practice to yell at customers, especially when they order 3x minimum per week. Now, I’ll happily drive to MTK just to avoid the cold rice and equally, if not more, cold service!

Ive used Haiku for takeout several times! The food is good, prices fair, the online ordering easy and delivery is fast ! With my recent order i was horrified when i discovered a dead roach in my steamed Bok Choy! When i called they were very apologetic and issued me an immediate refund! Now i know many restaurants have bugs i just never want to see them– especially in my food! Needless to say I’ve become a former customer!

I love the recent renovations. The space has been transformed — there’s a more upscale vibe to it and the bar is no longer closed off from the dining area. I’ve eaten here a few times since the remodeling and have enjoyed my meals, especially the new sushi rolls. The menu is expansive in both sushi and kitchen dishes. Be sure to check out their list of «specials». My one criticism is their«spicy» rolls. Both times I’ve ordered a spicy shrimp roll, I received a cucumber shrimp roll w/a little spicy mayo in it. The first time it happened I thought it was a mistake. After the second time, I asked the server & was told that’s how their sushi chef made it(it’s not a spicy shrimp roll). A similar thing happened to a friend who ordered a spicy salmon roll — she got a chunk of salmon rolled up, rather than the standard chopped up salmon. Overall, I’d recommend this location for both takeout and dine-in, but would avoid the spicy shrimp & salmon rolls.

Ordered take out for dinner, chicken, beef, and ribs had absolutely no taste. If I could review with 0⁄5 stars this place would get it. I swear I thought my chicken was tofu.

Beef satay is seasoned perfectly, you don’t even really need the sauce. DELICIOUS vegetarian spring rolls and I love the dipping sauce! My fiancé loves their egg roll. My best friend lives their sushi especially the dragon roll. Good sesame chicken and general tso chicken. The vegetable lo mein has really great flavor but definitely lacks in vegetables. The dumplings are good, I usually prefer a thinner dumpling dough, but good flavor. Beautiful restaurant, perfect for date night. They have a full bar and a sushi bar. They do takeout and delivery(call ahead to make sure they’re doing delivery that day). Free shopping plaza municipal parking.

First time. We ordered only sushi. OK, so menu looked very expensive, and so we stuck with the basics — 3 rolls for my daughter; and we split a sushi deluxe & a sashimi deluxe. First, soup. Best wonton i’ve had in years — fresh wontons with a lot of pork and a delicious broth. Next, rolls — lots of fish — even regular(vs. inside out) were more than ample. Sushi — fresh; excellent fish-to-rice ratio; no «cheap» pieces, all fish, partially justifying the pricing. Sashimi — again, no «fillers», just salmon, tuna, yt, sea bass & a white tataki — I think it was white tuna. All fresh, some too cold. Rice itself — well made; prier rice vinegar balance and cooked properly. Overall, very good. Fish was very fresh, and good quality. Flavor not spectacular, especially some of the sashimi that was too cold. True, location not interesting, but don;t rurally care if I’m in a shopping center once I’m inside… Décor was nice & clean.

Fresh sushi prepared right. Sashimi was fresh and tasty. Nice size bowl of miso soup to start and a cup of green tea. Wait staff is very friendly and accommodating.

Thumbs up! Great food fast service! great portion size. The sushi hit the spot. I think it’s a little over priced but I will be back.

Good sushi at a restaurant that is conveniently located for those who live in the greater Lewisboro area. The ambience of it is not great, but hey, they are located in the corner of a supermarket shopping plaza. But, more importantly, they seem to use good quality fish to use for their sushi. The staff is friendly and helpful as well. All in all a pretty good place to eat some solid sushi. It is a tad expensive, but this is Northern Westchester.

Four of us had dinner at Haiku this evening. We were seated in a timely manner, everyone was polite, there was plenty of attentive staff, and the food was quite good. Soups came out boiling hot(just as we all like it), tasted great and were timed well to leave a decent space for our entrees. Again, the food was very good, and I had asked for low salt, we all ate something different and the shrimp were cooked perfectly. We all commented on how large the shrimp were and how fresh they tasted. Portions were reasonable and we all had drinks and dinner. After reading some negative reviews, we decided to try it anyway, and were pleasantly surprised. We will definitely return soon.

I’m so sad to leave a bad review because I loved this place for so many years, but I recently moved back to westchester after years away: tonight I ordered haiku delivery and it was so gross. So oily and flavorless. Way overpriced. :(

Best sushi I’ve every had and I’ve had A LOT of sushi. Super fresh fish. The fish to rice ratio is what it should be – they really load up on the fish and don’t overdo the rice. This place is the reason I look forward to going home — the traditional welcome home sushi dinner. The fish is so fresh it just melts in your mouth. My favorite special rolls: white tiger roll and passion roll. If you’re not looking to spend much, their simple rolls(favorites: salmon and avocado, yellowtail jalapeño) are spectacular — you get so much fish! Overall, this place is hard to beat — undefeated in my book.

A fantastic Asian atmosphere in Cross River of all places. Leo the bartender/manager takes the time to get to know you as he deftly takes your drink and dinner order. I have yet to have a sit down in the restaurant area, but the bar area is a very good place to start. Try the Shrimp Shumai. It comes in an «authentic» asian style steaming basket which gives you a nice feel for dining«asian.» For drinks, which I advise to drink slowly if you are driving, get the OK Mai Thai but if you want a no frills, tasty, high octane beverage get the Cross River Zombie. Literal bang for your buck. Eat well, this is a great place.

Continued going down hill to the point where it’s now inedible. When they opened years ago, it was very good. Now it’s bland, tasteless and makes us feel unwell afterward. Tonight was the last straw. Salty wonton soup with mushy wontons. Dry pork fried rice. Lemongrass coconut chicken was loaded with horrible creamed starch pasty sauce. Yuk. Yuk. Yuk. AVOID! NEVERAGAIN!

This is a great option for Asian food. I don’t eat sushi but my boyfriend is a huge fan and when he orders it it always looks amazing(almost good enough for me to want to eat it). The thing I really appreciate about Haiku is that they know what gluten free soy sauce is and are very willing to use it if you request it at no extra cost. I have a gluten sensitivity and I don’t get to eat Asian food very often because of the soy sauce, but I haven’t had any problems with their GF options. A lot of Asian restaurants either don’t know what GF soy sauce is or don’t/won’t use it, but Haiku is great about that. My boyfriend and I eat here fairly often and the food is good quality. Lunch portions are cheaper(but smaller), dinner portions are a little pricey but can last someone like me two meals. Waitstaff is friendly, atmosphere is good.

We love Haiku… Our family orders food atleast once a week from this consistent, great food and friendly restaurant. We live in Pound Ridge and have lots of options in New Canaan, Ridgefield and Armonk but choose Haiku 99% of the time. Some chinese restaurants of sauce their dishes and I like that the sauce just enough… Left overs do not last long in our fridge…

My favorite local sushi place. The fish always taste fresh and the service is always top quality. I go often enough where some of the staff knows my name and my orders, so the service may be in my favor a little bit. Not to take away from the quality of food. They have the usual when it comes to sushi, but have great special dishes like the Sushi Pizza which make coming back so easy. Had 1 bad experience with Uni where I am pretty sure it went bad.(have not ordered it from them again) but that was the worst I could say. If you like sushi and variations of sushi… Check this place out! The location in White Plains is also great, but it has a much different(party like) vibe than this location.
