Bagels take a while, but they’re delicious. Their iced banana latte is a game-changer.

Posting a review again to reflect my experience. The place is very poorly run. Despite many people working there, the wait time is unusually long. I’ve completely left on many occasions because of how long the delay is. The last time I was there was on a slow, weekend afternoon, and despite a lot of people behind the counter, it took about 15 – 20 for them to bring out an order of a tuna salad on a roll, with 0 people in line in front of me or behind me. I was contacted by management and told that good food doesnt come fast and fast food isn’t good. it was a ludicrous consolation. this place is not, at all, worth it. i understand there are other orders that need to prepared, but if i am the only in the store ordering something, and ordering something that isn’t being made on the grill, i do not expect wait time to be that long for a bagel shop. this is not a gourmet restaurant.

Bagel Pub! I have nothing to compare you to but the greatest goodness on earth! At all times of the day you will be able to find something in this place of business. Oh! But where do I begin? Early Saturday morning, in the mood for something really good! Thankfully my sister lives down the block and gave THEBEST recommendation to come here. If you are even considering, just do it! I guarantee you will find something(s) there. My partner got an everything bagel with chives, and I got two cream cheeses(smoked salmon & chives and guacamole) which they separated for me to have two half sandwiches. We both got smoothies, Papaya Sunrise and Honey Blue! Delicious, to say the least! The a couple days later we got a salad with mixed greens, mozzarella, tomato, mandarin oranges, cucumber, and the mix of their house balsamic glaze and house balsamic vinegar. NOTONLY was the food amazing, the employees and their customer service are fantastical! Working through the fact that the business is booming, the staff keep smiling and assisting the needs of all customers! Very hard to find! Lawdamercy. I cannot wait to return to this sacred house! Thank you so much for your services and ALL that you are! Please continue to be great!

Everything here is delicious! My go to spot for breakfast, whether I’m in the mood for a bagel or a breakfast wrap. Both are made perfect here every time. The best selection of cream cheese I’ve ever seen too!

Yes!!! They have gluten-free bagels! That was enough to win me over. The staff as efficient and helpful, the food was diner quality, the music seemed unusually loud. Kind of college rock, which seems odd! I was just having a really difficult time finding gluten free places super close to where I’m staying and was super stoked to find this one!

The place was a bit empty and my order took a very long time. But, my food was great! I’m a little bummed that I found this place the month before I’m moving back to Manhattan. If I’m ever in the area, I’ll be back.

Bagel Pub is a place to just go in and out if you want to quickly grab a bite, especially to go. Although I’ve sat by the bar before, which is fine but I wouldn’t recommend it during busy times. Speaking of, during busy times they try to do as good a job as anywhere else, but expect to have a little bit of a wait. If the crowd looks large, it looks large for a reason. I’m not really a sandwich or bagel person(ha!) and pretty much always get the same thing — egg and sausage on oat, and never had any problems. Their smoothies/juices are also pretty good. Their selection in general seems wide for breakfast and lunch. Loads of options for sandwiches and bagels as well as pastry options. Staff are friendly overall, and again, it’s not the holy grail of bagel shops but it does a good job and you’ll likely be satisfied at the very least.

I go to bagel pub pretty often and have had 2 bad experiences. first time it took 15 minutes for one smoothie because they forgot about my order. second time, which happened to be this morning. I ordered an egg bagel with vegetable tofu cream cheese & my bagel was super rough and they gave me regular tofu cream cheese and not vegetable. which was super disappointing. they also didn’t put much cream cheese on the bagel :( but usually they’re great.

I love Bagel Pub. Like LOVE in the sense that I come here every weekend at least once, dream about their everything bagels and Piñaholics, etc. But 3 out of the last 4 times I’ve been their toaster has been broken. They have GOT to fix this ASAP — how do you have a bagel shop with a constantly malfunctioning toaster? :/Hugely disappointing.

Great prices and service! The neighborhood didn’t have a good bagel place before, so it is a great addition!

6:45am on a Monday. No line. Very quickly received my order. Food was great. I look forward to coming back and trying their vast selection of delicious looking cream cheeses.

I had one negative experience at Bagel Pub. The owner was immediately in touch with me to find out more, super supportive, respectful and apologetic. I have returned 5 times since and I have to say this place has completely turned it around. Quick fast service, and a smile from everyone who works behind the counter. The food is obviously amazing– best bagel in NY in my opinion. I would recommend to anyone! Ps. Try the smoothies too!

Good bagels, very friendly staff, but so poorly run. Their system(one line to order, one line to pay, then you wait for your order) isn’t uncommon, it’s just that they are uncommonly bad at it: they mess something up pretty much every time I go there, and that’s the general consensus I hear from my neighborhood friends as well. And it’s not for lack of staff: there’s always a ton of people working there, all of whom are super nice, apologetic, and trying to be helpful. But they’re often running around, disorganized, like chickens with their heads cut off, and that’s how things get messed up. Clearly needs better management. I’ll still go here as there are no better options in the area, but I’d go more often if I knew it wasn’t going to be a hassle every time.

I will throw it out there, best bagel I have had in my life. All the negatives on here are annoying. Service is very good and the staff is very friendly. On the weekends it’s crazy crowded and lots of people talk about the layout which is odd at best. But go through the«long line» in less than 10 min and have some hot doughy goodness in the form of delicious bagels and I think it’s an all around win. I had one issue where they forgot something in my order and they rectified the missing food and offered me a cash refund on the spot. So even when I had an issue it was taken care of. If you want a traditional NYC bagel on Franklin avenue then head here. I read comparisons to Nagles across the street and they fall flat. Nagles has okay bagels. But whatever they are, they aren’t NYC bagels and they are really cheap with the cream cheese. So to conclude. Eat Bagel Pub. Love Bagel Pub. Loathe your enlarged stomach from eating too much Bagel Pub

3.5 stars for good bagels, usually friendly staff and a strange layout. I live across the street so I was really excited that Bagel Pub opened. Their location in Park Slope was the first place I ever had a New York bagel with lox, so I’ve got fond memories of the place. When I went to this new location on opening week, the girl who helped me was kind of rude and dismissive. Big turn off. But, the convenience got to me and I couldn’t stay away from their whole wheat everything bagels. To be honest, I’ve never tried another bagel from here, but I have had it with all the topping options — ABC, bacon and egg, olive cream cheese, veggie cream cheese, scallion cream cheese, etc. They’re great bagels. The service is pretty speedy, even when it’s crowded(and boy does it get crowded in the mornings). And — bonus — I haven’t seen the rude server since! My only complaint is the way the ordering process works. You have to walk all the way to the back of the place to order your bagel. Then, you wait in line for the cash registers. While in line, someone(sometimes) will ask if you want a drink. Other times, you’ll get to the register and they act annoyed that no one took your drink order and they’re now forced to go make you a smoothie. There needs to be some organized process for ordering drinks, like there is with the bagels. ANYWAY. Overall, I’ll keep frequenting bagel pub because I love ww everything bagels that are within a 0.1 mile radius of my front door. So thank you for that

I’m SOHAPPY this place opened. There are a few bagel places in this neighborhood but they almost exclusively serve bagels. Go figure that the place with bagel in it’s name serves way more than just bagels. Thank god. The menu here is huge– breakfast options, salads, sandwiches, smoothies, coffee, tea, and probably a lot of other scrumptious things I haven’t had yet. It’s perfect for when you’re in the mood for something quick and no one can agree on what to eat. I’ve been coming here consistently in the 2 or so months since this place has opened and my only real gripe is the slow service. I’ve waited upwards of 20mins for food when the place was almost empty(several times). To their credit, the employees at the register always notice when you’ve been waiting and«check on your order,» although it still takes a loooong time to come out. So, don’t grab something here when you’re on a time crunch. Hopefully as time goes on they’ll work out the kinks and get the service up to speed.

Always passed by during the construction trying to imagine what a bagel pub would look like. It’s here and I decided to stop in for breakfast. Honestly really good looking establishment. Very clean inside and out. Definitely hipster vibe with great music. Most of the seats were taken. No worries had to hurry to the plantation so I was taken my bagel to go. Registers surrounded with staff ignoring you as you walk-in. I kept walking and a saw a sign that said order in the back. One person in front of me. Ordering went off without a hitch. I ordered a whole wheat everything bagel, well toasted with plain cream cheese and bacon. I was given a paper with my order on it. No explanation whether to wait there and receive my order or go to the front and pay and wait. I decided with the latter to speed up the process. There were 3 cashiers chattering away behind the register area. Only one of them was actually ringing up customers. 5 of us were standing around waiting to pay. After about 5 minutes a second cashier decided she wasn’t being paid to talk for a living and started ringing people up. Alas I’m next and this same cashier yells next. I cringed as if I just heard the screeching sound you hear when nails are dragged along a chalkboard. Pet peeve of mine when in a establishment and being summoned by the word next. Like I’m standing in line for free government cheese instead of paying $ 5 for a damn bagel. I begrudgingly walk up to her and she doesn’t immediately greet me. I briefly misplaced my ticket. Have a eureka moment and quickly retrieve it from my pocket. Then she greets me with a hi how you doing. Doesn’t even wait for a response before she tells me the price. I whip out my debit and hand it to her. She hands it back and turns the tablet and says sign here. I tip even though I shouldn’t. She quickly murmurs thanks have a nice day and before I can even get my card back in my purse she yells«next». Calling another calf to slaughter. The bagel was delicious. Love whole wheat, love everything and the fact that I can have both in one shot I’m happy. Not to mention its a well made NY bagel. The bagel was well toasted like I asked. Which seems unimportant but you’d be surprise how many«well toasted» bagels I received with no color or burnt. So kudos. The cream cheese was enough but not too much and bacon was salty and greasy how I like it. The bagel was big and I stayed full until lunch. Overall if you can overlook the chatterbox, not that friendly staff and the confusing unorganized matter that is Bagel Pub. It’s a solid bagel spot. I know its been about a month BP but please tell your cashier staff if they insist on talking they have to learn to multitask and move their hands just as much as their mouths. Smiling wouldn’t hurt and asking can I help whose next versus shouting next would make a huge difference. Gracias!

PRAISESWEETBABYJESUS there’s a new bagel place in the neighborhood! Just what we needed. Came in around 1 pm and the line was long, but it moves pretty quickly. It’s the pretty standard ordering line, but there are multiple cashiers taking coffee and juice orders – people not paying attention were the cause of the line back up. Because I was a hungry beast and didn’t want to f*ck around, I ordered a sesame cream cheese bagel – quick to make, quick to eat. My bagel was perfectly chewy with just the right amount of schmear. Our other bacon-egg-cheese-avocado everything bagel looked like it was just bursting with ingredients, and no complaints were made on that order. My only gripe(if it’s a gripe at all) is that there just isn’t enough seating. There is a large communal table in the back of the shop, and a handful of two person tables in the middle and front. We snagged two of the counter seats by the window, but were nearly frozen each time the door opened. They do offer free WiFi though, which is a plus. Welcome to the block, Bagel Pub. I look forward to continuing our relationship.

This is a cool spot to grab breakfast or lunch. At first glance I thought it was simply a place to grab a bagel and a coffee. However, once you step in you’ll see that there’s a great variety of bagels, spreads, sandwiches and pastries. There’s even a juice bar. I’m glad I finally stopped by yesterday. It’s not been open for very long, but every time I pass it, it seems to be fairly crowded. There’s a plenty of seating if you want to sit down and eat and there’s also free wifi. For my first visit I went with the egg everything bagel and a green tea. No complaints, will return soon.
