Here on 2÷26÷16. The service was horrible. Our server Amanda. Came to the table when we first sat down. Took her a ½ hour to come back. Never asked if we needed more drinks. Finally came to take our order she took one couples order and never asked the rest of the table if we were ready to order. She brought the salads out. Took another 15 minutes to get the soup orders. Asked for Ranch dressing. Took for ever and got Blue cheese. Dinner comes we asked for bread. We got our bread at the end of the meal. Then because we had 10 people. She put an 18% gratuity on the tab. Until they get things better in here. I would tell be back

Read some of the reviews and I could see the issues some have had with the price because that was my first thought. I think it may be too high by about 10−20% for the area but they have some nice specials and our food was great, the calamari was some of the best we have had. Kayla, our server was on top of everything without being over bearing. We came on a slow Thursday but could not be more pleased with the food, service, and atmosphere of this place(nice décor and great mix of music).

I have visited this place a few times now, and the food is always great. The pork chop is one of my favorites, juicy with a nice garlic butter combo melting on top. They have a stuffed chicken entrée, with spinach and cheese over a bed of fettuccine alfredo. It is delicious. Not that hungry, try their french dip sandwich. The beef is tender and lean on a nicely toasted roll. Their soups are hit or miss, cream of potato was your basic cream base with cubed potatoes-nothing special. The small dinner salad is decent, often overflowing the bowl. Like the soup, their cocktails are a bit of hit or miss as well. Sometimes great, other times weak and inconsistent. Décor is great for a date night or just for a night out. High tables near the bar for a more casual setting. Overall the food is great, and well worth the trip to Crown Point! Service is always top notch as well.

Made reservations on a Friday night for myself and two of my friends. Not necessarily what I expected going in. After looking at the menu and seeing the prices, I thought it was be a more intimate and less casual setting. However, the actual ambiance almost felt like a chain restaurant to me. Our server was good, pretty attentive. At our table we ordered; 6oz sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes, salmon filet with asparagus and walleye filet with asparagus. We got the potato rolls as an appetizer. Potato rolls were ok. However, It tasted just like they put mashed potatoes in spring rolls. My friends both enjoyed their fish dishes. My steak with ok. Good flavor, decently cooked but nothing too amazing. I give 4 stars because it was clean, not too expensive and wait staff was friendly. But, unfortunately, nothing wowed me and I won’t be back.

Busy Saturday night, however, we ran into a few mistakes that weren’t just from being busy. I ordered the special«Tequila Lime chicken salad». Not bad, but not impressed with the lack of dressing– no special dressing, just had to choose between the usual suspects or ranch, Italian, etc. Two people asked to split their plate– he informed us there was a plate sharing fee– no problem! However, when it was served, we had to cut and split it ourselves. Kind of weird to charge for that. My sister ordered the«Jambalaya». The chicken pieces were a mangled mess and didn’t even taste like chicken. When we talked to the manager he asked if it was the spices because no one else complained. She mentioned that it tasted like BAD, old meat. He didn’t offer anything. My family ordered coffee to finish off the meal and all three came out cold. Mm. Cold coffee. Our server was great correcting any mistakes but these weren’t all his fault. While we were here, two large tables were reserved and weren’t filled for about an hour. We watched a few large groups leave upon hearing about the wait. Yikes. Management needs to look into some of these issues.

Great place for a weekend breakfast. The breakfast buffet is fresh and plentiful and goes until at least noon. Dinner is good as well and they always have some really good specials. Only complaint is tends to get loud and crowded in the dining room.

Last minute plans on New Year’s Eve we decided to try this place. I called at 6:45 asking if I needed reservations. They said yes that they were slammed but could get us in at 8. I thought that was pretty quick considering this was a busy night. We arrived at 10 till 8& checked in. They said it would be about 20 minutes. We went to the bar & ordered drinks. The Cosmo & Long Island were both good. We did not get seated for dinner until 9 o’clock. Which on this night for us was fine as we weren’t in a hurry. The manager gave us an appetizer on the house. Now the food. We got the calamari. It was probably the best calamari that I’ve ever had. I’m not sure but I think the salad had too much water on it because after I put dressing on it & mixed it up the dressing became watery. I ordered surf & turf. My filet tasted great. It was medium in the middle as ordered but but too done on the edges. The lobster tasted good but was over cooked also. I could barely get it out of the shell. The brownie dessert was delicious. I had an ok experience. Service at the bar was good. Our waitress was friendly but a little slow to check on us. I will give this place another try on a non holiday. But I will be expecting to get a meal that matches the price I’m paying.

My husband and I visited last night for the first time. We sat at the bar area since we knew we had to stay quick since we wanted to see a movie afterward. The bartenders we had were very friendly and looked like they knew what they were doing. My husband enjoyed his drink and complimented her ability to make a black and Sam. My amaretto stone sour tasted really good, but there was very little alcohol in it. We both ordered meals with soup and got cream of asparagus with bacon. It had good flavor and, in my opinion, an unnecessary kick. I ordered the tequila lime chicken. I thought it was tasty with a kick, but it wasn’t worth the $ 19 I paid for it. I would probably have paid $ 13, so it was good, just not worth the price. My husband ordered a portobello mushroom burger. He said it was disappointing, saying it was overlooked and tasted like a burnt grill. For the price he paid, he should have gotten a side in addition to the soup, but it came with nothing other than being topped with wilted lettuce. The only reason why I gave them two stars was because of the bartenders’ service and friendliness. We will not being going back.

overall it wasn’t terrible but not fantastic either. Kinda reminded me of a little more upscale Wagners rip off. Food was decent but a bit over priced.

I really want to like this place. I like the interior. It’s cozy/warm and intimate. My husband and I have been here several times, and more times than not its underwhelming. We’ve had a variety of experiences over the years. Everything from the server making a comparison to the grilled asparagus on my plate to my husband’s penis, to a string of other odd comments to good experiences with good food. This last time we went on a Saturday night– definitely not as crowded as it used to be. Restaurant was about ¼ full. Service was fairly quick. I ordered raspberry lemonade since I’m pregs. It tasted pretty watery but I drank it. Food– just ok. My husband got the perch which was fine. I ordered one of their specials– balsamic pork tenderloin. When I received it I was surprised that the pork was chopped into bite size pieces over rice. I ate it. But was just ok. I have a feeling this place is going downhill. such a shame.

I went there today with my husband. The servers were very nice. The atmosphere was pleasant. They had a special for today that was Grilled Pork Chop, which was really good(at least that’s what my husband says). I had the ribs which was tender and falling off the bone. I would go again.

Came here with the wife and in-laws on a Sunday evening. The place is split up between the bar and dining area. There were only a handful of people when we arrived. The décor was underwhelming. Lots of pictures of flames, hence the name. There are some cheesy LED candles on the walls. We ordered the sampler platter which was average. The salad was fairly small and tasted fine. I ordered the walleye but they were all out so I picked out the almond crusted tilapia and wild rice. It was very hot and good, but a little buttery. The pork chops looked good. No one was dissatisfied with their food as far as I knew. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. I would probably come here again if we happened to be in the area.

Everything was dead on great. We took my mom here for her birthday yesterday. She was extremely satisfied. The food was seasoned to perfection. We will return in near future.

Desserts(crème brûlée, bread pudding, chocolate brownie) were better than major Chicago restaurants. Soup and veggie sandwich were excellent. Went with picky relatives who enjoyed the good. Will return soon.

I’m never disappointed when I eat here! Steaks are always cooked perfectly, the jambalaya is spot on and I can always find a delicious beer to drink. You can tell the food is made from scratch; the quality makes such a difference.

I’ve been here three times now and all have been good. Service was good, went during dinner and lunch nothing really to complain about. I’ve had the chicken tenders good, barbecue sauce is amazing, you must get the ribs! The boneless pork was on special but amazing flavor, garlic mashed were good and the brownie dessert was to die for! Will go back
