Came in this afternoon with my dad and absolutely fell in love with the two ladies that run the shop! I think it’s great that they’re taking time to give back to the community. They were so nice and kind, and their sweets were absolutely to die for. My dad and I both got two of their famous Goodman Bars, which are kind of like a 7-​layer bar, but with their own little spin on them. They were GREAT! We also got my mom one of their red velvet cupcakes which she really enjoyed, a wonderful chocolate chip scone (which was soft and wonderful!), and also some delicious glazed pecans in this adorable little packaging.
10⁄10 Will DEFINITELY RETURN!

Did a tradeshow nearby and found the shop on Unilocal.Needed goodies to give away and popped in with no warning. Cute shop, had a lovely visit while the owner packaged up about 100 treats for me to take plus coffee and a scone. The candied nuts, toffee and handmade caramels were a hit with people making plans to visit the shop. Hope I made their morning — they made mine! Now they are shipping corporate gifts to about 140 partners of mine.

Simply Amazing! I have been in three times so far and can see myself going back a lot more. Muffins are delicious. Cupcake are a lot fresher than the one I used to drive to Valpo to pick up.

The two stars are for the smiling friendly girls working… A very basic no frills kind of place and so are the sweets. Nothing to waste your money on. Very disappointing, so were the 4 other groups who walked in and walked right out.

We were enjoying a fabulous day on the square, and seeing this store for the first time, decided to check it out. Turns out, she wasn’t officially opened yet, but had some extra goodies from a farmer’s market that had closed early that morning. She invited myself, my three girls, my mom, and my sister in and offered us each a free cupcake to sample! We enjoyed not only the absolutely scrumptious cupcakes, but the décor (a great mix of modern and retro), and the super friendly folks behind the counter. I cannot possibly wait for this place to open. Cupcakes are an acceptable dinner, right?
