From the moment we shook hands with Rob Jarvis and were handed the Jarvis Exteriors Folder, the PROFESSIONAL image of the company stood above all others. It was Rob Jarvis that shared his KNOWLEDGE in answering our specific questions and the DETAILED folder, representing the company, that had all the other answers, that really impressed us. I had a good idea of what to look for in an EXCELLENT company after many hours of research. It is important to Rob Jarvis, for you to understand roofing terminology, what’s next, the job process and he stays above competition in both knowledge and quality. He COMMUNICATES with the customer through out the whole process so you always know WHAT and WHEN something is scheduled for your project. Having SATISFIED customers is what this business is built on and in order to do that, you must have SUPERIOR, EXPERIENCED, KNOWLEDGEABLE, HARD WORKING crews.
If the contract states… «all shingles will be fastened to roof deck using 6 (qty) 1 ¼″ galvanized roofing nails, instead of the standard 4 nails per shingle bringing the upgraded wind warranty to 130 mph.» that is what you will get. Through out the day, when I would step out to check on the progress, I would take a count, we were getting what we contracted for, because the crew took PRIDE in their work and the finished product showed that. At the end of the day, the head of our crew, as he was packing up the truck, stopped the passing ice cream truck. He purchased a treat not only for himself but for both of us. How many times does that happen? The point is, this company hires not just good people but GREAT PEOPLE who know how to get the JOB DONE RIGHT and AHEAD OF SCHEDULE.

I’ve never felt compelled to write a review here but I am a huge fan of the site and thought it was the right time to contribute.
The reason I’m writing this review is because this company, or at least one of the many subcontractors they use, does subpar work, in my opinion. The salesman, Bill, is very nice and seems genuinely concerned but he is not there to babysit the crews so quality assurance is an issue. The fit and finish of the siding was not to my satisfaction. There were several areas that needed attention after the install was complete. Im sure they would have done a much better job on their own houses. To make a long story short, if you do decide to use this company, stay home and watch their every move. Don’t bother asking questions because none of them speak English except the supervisor who isn’t always there. I don’t plan on using them again and I wasn’t shy about letting my neighbors aware of their subpar work. I hope this helps you make the right decision. And if you do decide to use them and the same thing happens, shame on you. If you use them and don’t have any issues, consider yourself lucky. I’m just sayin’.

out of the 8 contractors I called to get my siding replaced, this was only the 2^nd one that even responded (sears of course jumped, but they wanted $ 6k more). Not only did jarvis quote me a great place, they worked with my insurance company to get it covered (wind damage). I was so happy with the quality and speed, I went ahead and got soffits/​facias installed, as well as new gutters. they really go the extra mile, and they are certified so you know your getting quality.
