This Locksmith really saved me!
While I was out bringing in my mail, the wind blew and the door to my home slammed shut and locked. I don’t know how, I suppose I must have done something careless. Nevertheless there was I, standing out in the street, with my perfectly locked up home behind me. At least I did one thing right, and had my smartphone on me. I looked up McHenry locksmiths and there was Keymasters. I thought that this must be what I needed, so I called that number. There on the line was that friendly reassuring voice of Phil, the owner of Keymasters. He came right over and was there beside me in 20 minutes, just as he promised. Phil is an Illinois certified registered locksmith, which means he has passed the state exams for being a proficient locksmith. Phil used some clever lock picking tools to open up my front door without doing any damage. What a relief!
Phil is a real charmer, with wonderful interpersonal skills. He offered to give my home a free security inspection, in which he taught me that several of my locks either needed upgrading or having deadbolts adding. A day later he came back and in less than an hour he made the doors on my home almost impregnable. It feels so good now to know that when I have closed the doors, nobody can get in. Thank you Keymasters. I am now pondering upon having Keymasters put in a video surveillance system as well, so I can see everything that happens around my home. I highly recommend Keymasters if you have any security issues for your home or business.

I cannot thank Phil (the owner) enough~he saved the day! My son and I had locked ourselves out of our house and a «helpful» neighbor broke our lock to get us back in. It was late, and cold so I wasn’t complaining too much until I realized I wasn’t going to be able to lock the door to our home overnight :-(. I had called several local locksmiths to no avail then a friend told me they had used Keymasters and were VERY happy, so I decided to give them a call even though I assumed I was out of their normal service area.
Phil was very kind and helpful on the phone and came out immediately! His prices were very reasonable. He did an excellent job~very professional!
I will be calling him back soon about a security system and keyless entry :-)

I would NOT recommend this business. I called them because I locked my keys in my car and made a appointment for noon. They never showed up. I called the business several times to only get a recording. I left several messages. They never even bothered to called me back.
After waiting two hours I called another company that showed up in 15 minute.

I called them to get a quote on swapping out existing locks on a new home purchase. We gave a good quote and scheduled the job for the following morning. He never showed, or called as well as never returning any phone calls. Wow. Thanks a lot
