Riverside Pub

We’ve been visiting this pub for over 20 years, it’s changed hands and names a couple of times but has remained one of our favorite places.
If you like good burgers, Italian beef and chicken wings, this is the place for you. The only downside to the wings is the lack of sauce options. We prefer «extra spicy» so we just use Tabasco, but it would be nice to have a super spicy homemade sauce instead.
They’re reasonably priced and most of the bartenders are awesome.

First of all, I’ve been supporting this place for 11 years, and always have had great service. It’s a local place, with most of the customers being friends of mine. This place is always open arms to new customers that want to try pretty good bar food. Portions are very large, and always served in a timely manner. Prices are fair, and comparable to other places near by. ½ lbs burgers can feed 2 due to sizable portions Great food specials on certain days, I believe it’s Tuesday, or Wednesday the large burgers are 4 Dollars each. Plenty of beer specials daily.

Great bartenders and food !!! The Philly cheesesteak was so good that when when my husband and I stopped in a staple cheesesteak place in Philadelphia he said Cindy at Riverside makes it better!

The wife and I dropped by the Riverside Pub to grab a few beers and try the crawfish broil. Unfortunately we’d misread the advert for the crawfish, turned out we were a week early. Anyhow, we ordered some fried mushrooms and steak dinners, all of the food was surprisingly good. Mushrooms were big, steaks were cooked perfectly and tasty. While we ate we were entertained by a live band outside. The bartender was incredibly nice and very helpful.
It’s a clean looking bar, folks seemed nice enough, clientele was a bit older (which was fine with us) and the Fox was looking gorgeous from the deck. All in all, a pleasant night out. We’ll be back.

Ok, adding a star because the fish boil is so good. The cook still needs to make more than one order at a time.

I have only been in her twice the first time it was OK the bartender was friendly and made a good bloody the food was good so i decided to come back, this last time i came in there’s the same guy who keeps getting feed drinks and is hammered to the point he is hitting on me. Then it took a bit for the bartender to get to me and wouldn’t want or seem to make conversation at all. It was kind of rude. I order a bloody and it was awful i asked her what mix she used and she said what ever they put in this jug! Well you as a bartender should know whats in your mix! and then when i asked for zing zing just plain she said she couldn’t, but the last bartender did!.. So i settled for a beer. As i sat her watching her she continuously played with her hair and was biting her nails and then touching food WITH OUT WASHING HER HANDS!!! That is just GROSS! the food was good and i like the coleslaw… but it took forever to get a beer I after watching her eat off others plates and chewing her fingers and everything I just ask for my bill. BUT WHAT REALLY TICKED ME OFF was the fact that she shorted me on my change and SHE KNEW SHE DID IT! I work as a bartender and that is NOT OKAY AT ALL EVER!!! even if its by a few cents she does that to everyone then she makes good tips. her attitude and not being friendly makes me not want to come back and on top of it i wrote to y’all on Facebook privately and it was seen and never got a response back which means you dont give a crap so with that then i dont either!

I went here randomly a while ago with my bf and his friend to get a drink kinda late one night, when we got there we walked in the door and just like a scene in a movie everyone in the bar just stops and stares at us down, as we walk in and walk past the bar we got strange looks from the people there and some old creep from the bar yells «the guys gotta go, but the chick can stay» um ew im 21 and this dude was in his 50s, so we sit to order drinks and the lady at the bar ids us super hard giving us strange looks immediately after getting our drinks she rudely starts asking «whos paying for this» just the way she asked was so rude, needles to say we slammed our drinks and left right away im not coming back this bar it was not friendly

Whenever I walk into Riverside Pub everyone is friendly and out going. We go down for dinner, hockey games, football games or just because & the food is always good. Can’t wait til the outside bar opens & enjoy the sun. Love this bar!!!

I’ve gone 3 times and tried to support the new owners, but I think I’m done. It’s usually pretty quiet in there and the food is ok, but the service is really inconsistent. The women bartenders who also come to the tables to take orders have been very good, but the dude that worked the bar was awful. Also, it shouldn’t take an hour for a burger. Portions are a little skimpy. Their italian nacho signature appetizer is decent and worth trying. But overall, if you’re at that intersection, Carlos’s and Kief’s are better.
