Stopped in for lunch. Great potato soup, Caesar salad, and sandwich. But the BIG winner is the Key Lime Cake! It’s a must if you are in the area!

We were looking for a place to get some soup and sandwiches for lunch after manatee snorkeling. The restaurant is a quaint little place with an attached boutique. We ordered potato soup and crab bisque along with wraps/salads. Sadly the crab bisque was unavailable to due metal screw found in other patron’s order. We all got potato soup which was served luke warm. The sandwiches/wraps were simply packaged deli meat and iceberg lettuce and tomato. We had to ask for the chips included with meal but they were out. Our server was nice, however did not have any knowledge of the menu and kept messing up our order. For what you get, the food is really overpriced. They do serve wine, which we heard was delicious. A cute place but too many fails… would not recommend.

The food is amazing, the desserts even better. Located in «downtown» Crystal River(home of the manatees). You can sit inside or out. Staff is super friendly. This restaurant used to have a different name and it was located on the east side of US19, so I was glad to find where they’d moved. Great for a business lunch, a romantic lunch, or stop in after shopping with friends. Their hummingbird cake is so delicious that I’ve found a recipe and started making it from scratch — mine is NOT as good as theirs however. Its more pricey than other lunch choices in the area, but the Quality makes it well worthwhile. No canned or frozen food served here! OK, enough about Amy’s… I’m getting hungry thinking about it!(by the way, the café is located on the southwest side of US highway 19 on Citrus Avenue. The name isn’t very easy to see from the road, so look for the black awning. To sum it up: YUM!

I am a big fan of Amy’s. First, Amy is great. Super personable and a very good community business owner. We stopped in for their breakfast offering on Saturday morning. Now that fall is here, it is really nice to sit out back of Amy’s in the courtyard. Enjoyed tea by Forte which is a great brand. Had the bacon and cheese quiche. It is more like a popover than a quiche and really delicious. We have also had the cheese plate after hours with a bottle of wine. These are great folks. Nice place. Great sitting out back. The curio store is great inside. Support Amy and her boutique and bistro.
