I was reading the review from the last person this really is the Pick n Save that time forgot. When I was a kid my dad and mom shopped here and I think it is all the same shelving storage freezers everything so in one respect it’s kind of fun to come here because it feels nostalgic and makes me think of my parents but on the flip side it is really outdated and needs to be updated has now been bought by Krogers so should be interesting

The Pick’n Save that time forgot. This is not a «Metro Market» nor does it feature an «organic» section, or «farm fresh» produce. This store is not flashy, well stocked, or modern in any way. What this store does have is: 1. A parking lot with more handicap spots than non handicap spots. 2. A deli offering more varieties of coleslaw, potato salads, and pasta salads than you knew existed. 3. Huge family-size packages of cheap meats 4. Large selection of other various prepackaged over-processed foods. 5. A liquor department featuring the cheapest of wine and beers. It must really be difficult to eat healthy if this is your grocery store. I did notice that the average age of the patrons is in their late 70’s, so I guess that’s a moot point. This is my Mother’s local grocery store, and she has been coming here since it opened in the late 1970’s. She had a fit the last time they remodeled 20 years ago. Like most of their patrons, her primary concerns are that she can find what she needs, and that she can still write a check. Yes, she is «one of those» people.
