Well I rounded down because of a recent occurence with the service counter. I usually get my weekly groceries here. I dig the speedy checkouts and the red box. There is always decent parking too. The workers are usually very helpful and friendly. Most of the cashiers are excellent and quick. Kudos to your hiring manager for cashiers. Recently there was one time when I was treated unfairly by the service counter. From what i understand, their new motto is Fresh Perks and they had a huge kickoff program to promote Fresh Perks. However, I experienced less than freshness. A month or two ago I purchased some Skippy peanut butter. When I got home and unscrewed the lid, i saw that the foil seal was open and tainted. So I wanted to return this jar of pb. Would you eat it if the foil seal was tainted? When i brought the jar of pb and my receipt to the service counter, a pretentious young girl(three letter name) refused to accept my return. i was turned off since their whole new program deals with«fresh». Whatever…I threw the jar of pb in their trash container and accepted MY loss. I purchased the PB jar there and made a special trip to return it. A bunch of wasted time and bs if you ask me. Since then I have purchased 3 pb jars from this store, they were sealed correctly. Anyways, I got groceries today and I read on the back of my shredded cheese package, «As chairman, I guarantee your satisfaction. If you are not completely satisfied, we will cheerfully refund your money.»…etc. Then the supposed«Chairman» signs his name I guess Chairman Bob’s message doesn’t apply to my pb purchase from late August. Bottom line, it’s a pretty good store but I had one really bad experience there recently.

arghghghg i get SOFRUSTRATED because there’s never anyone at the meat counter, i always have to run and find them or have someone in Bakery call them. they need a little bell or a walkie talkie or something at the counter. also, they tend to have older produce, but that doesn’t really bother me because i realise that places like Metro Mart who always have the shiniest most beautiful fruits on the shelves at all times just throw away a TON of perfectly acceptable food all the time, and that’s not cool either.
