I called the Hampton Inn in Cullman, AL on 11 March at aproximately 0930AM. The purpose of the call was to reserve a room for an upcoming stay in September. I am Active Duty Army, and would be in town for military orders. I believe the lady that answered the phone to take my reservation was named D.J. I explained my situation, and at first she said she had a few rooms available, then told me I could not reserve the room becasue I had already called for a wedding, which is untrue, and confused me. I explained to her that I had not, and that she was mistaken. She then told me I had to have military orders to obtain that rate. I told her I had orders for those dates.(Your Government rate policy online states«Current US Government Employee ID, Government Credit Card or Travel Orders required at check-in.» It is apparent that she does not in fact know your policy.) After I told her I had the orders she insisted that I needed, she told me that she did not have any room available for those dates. I then got online to reserve the room, and there was infact rooms available. Ofcourse I did not book it, because I would never want to spend money on a hotel with such poor customer service. Moving forward, I will do my best to ensure no one else that I am affiliated with stay there either. I hope that D.J. feels better protecting you hotel from the service members that she obviously does not want to stay there. I am curious as to why she did not want me to stay there, and did not want to offer the government rate too. I also would like to know why she accused me of calling previously. I spend a great deal of time traveling for the military, and used to enjoy staying with Hilton properties. I will not continue this trend. You have lost a customer.

Very friendly staff, always willing to answer questions and help if needed. The location is excellent, with two decent restaurants nearby. Beds are comfortable, rooms and bedding are very clean. Wifi like any other place is slow. You have to pay a fee for the premium wifi, which I think is wrong. Continental breakfast is decent, very nice dining room with plenty of space. Their gym is at a odd spot, next to the lobby. So every one can look at you when you’re working out. Overall this is a good place,

Stay somewhere else, there are many better options Not only will I never stay at this hotel again, I am really questioning continuing as a loyal Hilton customer. The walls at this hotel are paper thin, you can hear ever door bang and every shower. They don’t have a military rate on weekends! Apparently, our military service personnel who put their life on the line for all of us are only appreciated during slow times and when the hotel can turn a buck, military is no longer valued. The hotel claims to have a 100% customer satisfaction which they also did not stand behind, nor do they honor published rates for loyal customers. We have continued to express our dissatisfaction only to have fine print and restrictions recited to us. It’s not the $ I’m interested in, it’s being respected as a customer. They seriously need some training in how to make customers very valued. Take your dollars down the road and stay someplace you will be appreciated and can get a good night’s sleep.

Shower is broken in room 231… Other than that, LOVE the bed. Very comfortable. Nice size TV, oh and it has a hdmi slot to plug the Xbox into. Game on!

This is the best hotel in Cullman. Standard Hampton rooms: refrigerators and microwaves in all rooms, compfortable beds with down or foam pillows, free wifi, free breakfast buffet. Nice little lap desk to work on computer in bed. Rooms are clean.

friendly! good breakfast super friendly front desk staff. nice clean room, comfortable bed. only minus was coffeemaker was missing a part — couldn’t make coffee when I woke up :-( breakfast was hot and good both in variety and quality. would gladly go back.

This was a lovely, clean facility. Very comfy beds and pillows. The lobby is really pretty. Breakfast was great. Our room was great. I would definitely stay at this Hampton again. It’s right off the interstate so easy-on, easy-off.

I was looking forward to a hot tub after a 12 hr drive but this particular Hampton Inn only has an outdoor pool. Doesn’t work when it’s December. I could have checked that out prior but I have always had such good experiences at Hampton Inns. Best bed EVER! We needed a good night sleep and we sure got it at this hotel. The feather cover was so light you could hardly feel the covers on you. They always have a lot of choices for the free breakfast too. This hotel has restaurants and a gas station right out the door. Friendliest staff ever. I would stay here again
