China Garden Buffet and Sushi

We go here every once in a while. I am not a fan of buffet places, but this is pretty good, albeit a bit unorganized.
Decent, pretty fresh food.

It’s hard to find a Chinese buffet that keeps their food hot and fresh. The service here is second to none. The prices are very reasonable. The food is the best around. I don’t think I’ve had better Chinese food around here. The crab Rangoon is fabulous too!

I had better. .nothing to brag or race to get to. Wonton soup is usually pretty good.

Got off the highway on our way out of town and found this place… yummy yum yum yum. (and an awesome price!)

This is a busy place, and for fair reason: the food is the typical beef-​and-​broccoli American-​Chinese fare we all love (no surprises for picky eaters) and the price is not bad for getting to stuff your gut. The clientele is noticeably family/​senior/​local, and seems to be the popular (only?) Culpeperite alternative to chains when cooking dinner is just too much — bring the kids, everyone else did!
PROS: consistency in flavor, speed of service, sticky rice (available in rice cookers), approachable staff
CONS: low quality sushi, open floor plan/​limited privacy, boring interior
Recommended: Chicken skewers — juicy, fat, and tender.

For a Chinese Buffet in Culpeper VA this place is pretty great. The food is very tasteful and I love the sushi options it’s always freshly prepared and very affordable. Good food I like this place

Typical Chinese buffet. I like the fact that they have sushi and out of all buffets in the area that offer sushi it’s the freshest. Often they run out of noodles.

Not a big fan of buffet places. Normally the food has been sitting out for a while so it’s over cooked and just doesn’t look appetizing. I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever seen that here. Their Panko peanut chicken is hands down the best thing they have on the whole buffet line well that and their pan fried dumplings which are really just crab purses. What kills it for me is they have a line that is like Americanized food… pizza and French fries… … … seriously… If I wanted pizza on a line I’d go to ledo’s and while the sushi is made fresh it just doesn’t always look fresh. All in all it’s an okay place for a fast ready meal of Chinese food.

While visiting family in the area, we decided to have lunch at this very nice restaurant. An excellent variety of food, always hot and fresh, and a sushi bar with the chef making new dishes all the time.
The seating is comfortable and the servers are attentive. The prices are very reasonable. I’ve been told there’s a line outside every Sunday so this is a popular place for the locals.
There are a couple other Chinese places in Culpeper but I think this one is the best of them all. If you enjoy Chinese food and love buffets, you might want to check this place out.

The buffet here is pretty extensive & you can’t beat it for the price. Sushi is included in the buffet & they usually have about 10 different kinds to choose from. The food is always hot & the staff is attentive.

If I could justify eating at this sodium bar once a week I would, but alas my hips have already reached maxium capacity.
Being naturally bad at picking up men who are loaded, I am almost always scrapping at the bottom of my bucket for cash. However, this place is a great deal and easily fits into a budget.
Good food, great prices and super fast servers (I think they are jet powered, they pounce on your empty glass almost as soon as you put it down). They buffett is always hot and constantly being replaced. If you live in Culpeper, VA you know that it is cool that we even have sushi, even if it is a little sceptical… (is that why every has a hook in their hat around here?)
I suggest if you are hungry for some hot Chinese to go here. (You’ll crave it every week after that.)

Some of the best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Lunch buffet is awesome and very tasty. Dinner buffet is just as good. Prices are definitely reasonable for the quality of the food.
