Med Express

While I was glad to find a place I could go to on a Saturday afternoon, I will not go back to Med Express. I waited over an hour (expected) but then was rushed in and out without a proper exam (not expected). The nurse practitioner was with me less than 10 minutes, prescribed an antibiotic with no diagnostics and recommended OTC medications. The antibiotic seemed to help while I was on it but I had a relapse 3 days after finishing. I thought about going back there but when my bill came and it showed a charge of $ 220 before insurance, my conclusion was that Med Express was way too expensive for the long wait and minimal care I received. I went to another practice where a nurse practitioner spent 20 minutes with me and really considered all I was telling her before prescribing treatment. Perceived value is very important and I felt ripped off.

I have been waiting here for an hour and a half just for a simple physical you can see the workers not really doing that much, just looking around. I haven’t even been back to the room yet so I’m sure it will be another 30 mins or more. I have come here many times and it’s always this long.
Expect the worse when coming.

I recently visited this location with my young daughter. We came in knowing she probably had an ear infection and from a referral from a friend saying this place was fast and easy.
We waited an hour and a half, finally saw the doctor. Then once the doctor saw us, it was a rushed 5 minute exam for him to tell us what we already knew, an ear infection.
Very frustrated that it took an hour and a half for us to get seen for something so quick and easy. The clinic wasn’t even busy at the time.
I will never come back to this place!

Everyone at the front was pleasant, but the doctor I saw ruined the visit. After waiting in the exam room for 40 minutes, she conducted a poor and rushed assessment. I had a very sore throat and she didn’t even look at it! After her 30 second assessment, she asked briskly «So what, you want a narcotic cough syrup?». Um, no. I just need to breathe, a steroid for my inflamed bronchioles will do just fine. Giving 2 stars because the rest of the staff was very friendly; had it not been for that it would only be 1.

I had 3 sick children last week. the primary doctor could not fit them all in so I had no cnoice but to go to medexpress. they took us all right back. all the staff were great. they made my kids very comfortable. they had us in and out in an hour. I will definitely go back. I liked the doctor we saw there more than I do their primary doctor.

I visited Med Express on a Saturday evening. The facility was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful! I was in and out in less than an hour. I’ve been to urgent care centers before and have had lousy experiences. I would definitely return to a Med Express and highly recommend it!
