Great! I come here all the time to do homework or just sit and relax. My favorite coffee house

I would class myself as a Starbucks junkie who spends ~$ 75 on coffee, anyway, My wife and I stopped in Saturday afternoon and I have to say the coffee and the service was first class, tried a café Italiano, which is basically an Americano on steroids… we both enjoyed the coffee and the ambiance… will definitely be back! Oh and if you are a first time visitor, check in on FB and save 10% :)

I sat down at a table(that I had to clean, as all the tables were dirty) while the person I came with went in line and waited to order. The barista at the register completely ignored my companion, asking for the order of the person standing behind him instead. He had a very negative attitude and we couldn’t figure out what was up. We asked for water and the baristas didn’t want to give it to us. The sludge-like coffee and chai were certainly not worth enduring the unprofessional service. The café is also quite cramped and difficult to navigate, as the tables and chairs are stuffed into a small and narrow space. There have got to be better places to get a decent cup of coffee in Culpeper.

I paid over $ 10 for a small coffee and a ham, egg, and cheese croissant. The coffee was fine. The croissant, however, was microwaved. She literally grabbed it off tray behind the counter, walked it over to the microwave, and nuked it for a minute or two. The result was a $ 7 inedible lump. I was in Culpeper passing through after a trip to Shenandoah National Park. I’m not sure I’ll be in town again, but if I am, I’ll opt for a different place for breakfast.

We stopped in during our trip, and we were not dissapointed! The owner is the sweetest person and the croissants are to die for! This quaint little shop is the perfect place to grab coffee for breakfast and to chat with friends!

A very very pleasant and cool space. Wish it were my coffee house daily but since I live in Florida that isn’t possible. Will certainly come again when doing family history research on the Graves family of Culpeper Co. and make Raven’s Nest the start of each day. Any time of the day come relax and snack at Raven’s Nest I suggest.

A small hideaway coffee shop on Davis St in Culpeper VA, with baked goods and treats that vary daily. Some are home made, and some are not. Sometimes the local choices might appear unusual or even controversial in the taste profile, because they’re just not things you’d normally think of putting together. Still, you should give them a try because the owner has good taste and makes generally good selections when it comes to recipes she understands. If you are going to Starbucks on the north side, think of stopping by here instead. You’ll get a pleasant surprise. It really is better. :-)

I was very happy to find this place while spending a week in Culpeper. I was starting to think that Holiday Inn coffee was the best I was going to see, and I was getting concerned. The service is a little slow and the wait in line can be lengthy, but the coffee is great and the pastries and food is even better. They serve Raven’s Brew coffee, which I have never seen in a coffee shop before. I’ve only been able to pick it up in specialty stores or order it online. Hey, how can you pass up Deadman’s Reach or Three-Peckered Billy Goat? Especially when it is good coffee and not just a catchy label. The pastries are outstanding. The scones are maybe a bit sweet for my preference, but still very good. The biscotti is fantastic. Everything is baked fresh in-house. Well worth the effort. The shop is located on Davis street and is among other small shops and restaurants. A great place to grab a cup of coffee and then go wander the Farmer’s Market on Saturday.

Good Americano and very tasty in-house lemon poppyseed scone. A welcome find for a Seattlite on the East coast.

Fell in love with this place the second I stepped into it. Beautiful interior, definitely a cute coffee shop feel. Beautiful displayed art and photography for sale too. My boyfriend and I both agree that the coffee is amazing here! So many options! I got the honey salmon cream cheese bagel, I could eat this every day haha and my bf enjoyed his chicken salad on croissant. The employees are helpful and friendly and work in a timely matter. I recommend this jewel of a place to anyone :)

Hidden gem alert. This place is not advertised on 29. How I drove between NoVa and Cville for years without finding this coffee shop, I don’t really know. Whether you’re driving between Nova and Cville(or points beyond), slow down, forget the Starbucks in Warrenton, and take a side trip into Culpeper for a cup of Joe, the most delicious peach pie ever(or quiche, or croissants, or chicken salad), and a super chill, friendly ambiance with the sweetest staff ever. Plus, as a bonus, you’ll leave feeling happy and awesome, and you’ll avoid that unplanned date with the Virginia state troopers on 29. In other words, your afternoon, and quite possibly the rest of your life, will be better cause you chilled in the Raven’s Nest.

This is the coffeehouse you imagine in a small historic town like Culpeper. Big and open but charming! Lots of food and beverage options, breakfast and lunch. Friendly staff. Just all around a great experience. Oh and great music selection!

Last Sunday my wife and I were trying to get a cake across the street but the bakeries were closed. So we decided to get some coffee. We stopped in because it was just right there. We didn’t get the names of the two working. But they were super nice and helpful. And gave us some ideas of where to get cakes. Then we got the butter pecan frappé-chino. It was one of the most amazing things we had to drink. We were halfway to warranting and came close to turning back for another. Must visit again.

Looking for a really good cup of coffee, plus a super friendly and helpful owner in Culpeper? Come to The Raven’s Nest. Also had a yummy wild berry smoothie and a pretty good ham, egg, and cheese croissant. Great coffeehouse: highly recommend.

Super pricey but the food is always good! I like supporting local companies. Now it has become a «special occasions» spot only due to the cost.

Super expensive! $ 18 for two scones, 2 hot cocoas and a cookie! It was an Amazing pumpkin scone! — not sure it was worth 18 though– Had it with grape jelly. hot cocoa — was warm not hot. Felt bad there was only one waitress so took awhile to get rung up

Stopped in here for some afternoon espresso to bolster me on my drive back to Haymarket, VA… I ordered a double shot espresso machiatto with whole milk. Drink was made perfectly in terms of the amount of foam layered on top. I was not a fan of the bean and roast they used — not nearly as strong and earthy as I like. I guess I’ve been spoiled by Blue Bottle in San Francisco… The ladies working at Raven’s Nest were all very nice and friendly. The place has quite a bit of seating and looks very inviting. I am sure I will stop in and try some other beverages during future visits to Culpeper!
