Sweet Frog

My family loves to go to Sweet Frog. Tonight though they were a little lacking in the customer service. We arrived at 7:30 to find that they had pulled all the serving utensils from the items, they had taken all lids off of their squeeze bottles and had flipped the closed sign even though they didn’t close until 8. When asked what we were supposed to use to get the toppings they just pointed to where we get the spoons that we use to eat our own dessert. Just disappointed. Would visit again just maybe not anytime soon.

I LOVE this place. Always clean. Kid friendly. I get the same thing every time and it always taste fresh. Sometimes I go in to treat myself without the family. So highly recommend. Hope you enjoy.

Yum! I could have some creamy frozen yogurt right now! The toppings were fresh! The flavors were of wide variety. The staff could be more friendly though. The establishment is clean and orderly. Thanks sweet frog!

Good ice cream. But I was disappointed to find out I couldn’t use my coupon bc «it wasn’t from our sweet frog» even though the coupon didn’t state it could only be used at a certain location. Don’t you think you’re making enough off me already?! No need to be a tight-​wad!

Happy Hour-​Free Toppings 6pm-8pm…not anymore

Husband & I visited here for the first time yesterday afternoon. Had been to the one in Charlottesville & weren’t impressed (both the vanilla & the dark chocolate were WAY too sweet, & we thought it was a bit on the pricey side), but decided to give the new one here in town a go. And were very pleasantly surprised.
Price is determined by weight — hubby filled his cup (everything is self-​serve), while I only had a ½ cup, & total price came to $ 6.55. So it IS a bit on the pricey side. There are around 6 – 8 or so different yogurt flavors to choose from, & the toppings bar is through the roof. Everything from name-​brand crushed candy pieces, to shaved chocolate, to wet & dry nuts, to FRESH fruit (the huge fresh blackberries looked gorgeous), etc., etc. In addition, there are both hot caramel & hot fudge/​chocolate dispensers
Hubby had the Sugar-​Free Vanilla (which he said was very good), while I tried the Dulce de Leche (caramel), which was fantastic. Very nice caramel flavor & not overly sweet. Hubby enjoyed his plain, while I topped mine with a few spoonfuls of sliced almonds & a few squirts of hot caramel sauce. It really was delicious.
All in all, a nice respite on a hot day. (Although it would have been a LOT nicer if the woman sitting at the table next to us would have stopped yakking to her friend long enough to control her herd of devil spawn who were running all over, screaming, & crawling back & forth along the tiled bank seating that runs along one wall for the entire time we were there. Some people just shouldn’t be allowed to breed.…)

This place is amazing and it could be easy to turn a small cup of frozen yogurt into a $ 25.00 masterpiece with all of those toppings. (just ask my kids) Very ingenious to sell by weight, which makes it great if you’re trying to keep things reasonable. Yet the self service also makes it easy to go completely nuts! (peanuts, sliced almonds)

LOVEEEE Sweet Frog! I like to go here as often as I can. It’s frozen yogurt, so it’s not as bad for you as ice cream… ;) You pick any size cup you want & it’s all self serve. You pick your flavors & choose from at least 30 toppings (everything from cereal to candy to whip cream). You pay according to how much your cup weighs, so it’s all up to you. The staff is very friendly!

Love love love this place. Its self serve so you go in and grab the size cup you would like. You choose the frozen yogurt flavor then the best part… You get to pile on the toppings. They have so many to choose from; fresh fruit, nuts, candy, syrups and sprinkles! You pay according to how much your cup weighs in the end. So you can get as much or as little as you like. It all tastes so great and isn’t too bad for you :) The prices are very low and the service is always very good. You will always be greeted with a smile and «Welcome to Sweet Frog». I go at least once a week, sometimes more :)
