I really loved this place the spicy PHO was amazing and perfect for the type of weather we have been having. The sesame chicken and shrimp fried rice was also delicious. Prices are great for the amount and quality of food received. So good we are getting it two days in a row!

Being Vietnamese and coming from the OC area I know and love phở. My list of Phở offenders is as follows: 1. Phở Show — Snoop Doggy Dog makes phở, the only thing worse than Thai Fur 2. Thai Phở(they call it fur) — Bangkok can’t get it right and neither can LA 3. Korean Phở That being said I think this one is probably a tie with Korean Phở. The smell isn’t there in the broth. Though the broth is mysteriously clear, it seems to pack a lot of flavor until the metallic taste of MSG gets you at the end. The noodles are nice and small and the meat isn’t too bad. Tendon was way off. But overall, it’s edible unlike offender #1 down the street Phở Show. The Singapore noodles are pretty good. You just can’t go wrong making or eating these, would have liked to see a bit of char on the noodles. Service was really weird here, the girls were emotionless and walked around like they had a lobotomy. Signs posted around their workspace about how much to charge customers it’s apparent the owner cares enough to remind the servers but posting the signs means that they didn’t retain the knowledge. In the end, this is a place I could return to but not somewhere I’d go for a really good meal. But it definitely beats a lot of the unhealthy fare in the area.

Delicious and affordable. Great combo fried rice and awesome spicy garlic wings. Friendly service and they are on top of your needs without being annoying.

The best phở in the area(comparing this to Phở Show &ASAP Phorage). I always call my order in and come pick it up. I think it’s a $ 10 minimum if paying with a card. The broth tastes good and you can order a half or full size. Can also substitute the glass noodles for buckwheat noodles if you want to try something different. Might be little hard to spot — I couldnt find this the first time I Unilocaled it and drove over there. Cashier/waiters are always pleasant, phở has been consistently good, no wrong orders so no problems here lol.

Food was pretty good. Not bad. Service was ok. Nothing out of the extraordinary. I give this place a one star because they tried to be sneaky and charge my credit card extra. My receipt was for $ 38 and when I checked my credit card statement the next morning it was for $ 49! Make sure you guys check your credit card statement after you eat here!

Me and my boyfriend always order for to go the orange chicken and spicy chicken fried rice. We recently tried the BBQ pork fried rice which was really good. We dined in one time and the service was not so great.

Not bad if you have 3 hours for lunch. Service basically sucks. I tried giving them a shot at delivery because I love phở and didn’t want to deal with their staff, but they said it would take an hour and a half to deliver phở one mile away. Appalled! Another time I went with my friend who ordered a salad, never got her dressing, asked about it, and they said they didn’t have any dressing. The food isn’t terrible, they just need to hire a new staff.

Yeayyyy!!! thanks Unilocal!Nothing like finding a great gem when you’re just craving something! Apparently there’s another phở spot down the street that everyone adores, but this one seemed more authentic and not as crowded… seems like something right up my alley Came in, got served immediately and was proposed to try their tomato soup phở… is that even a thing??? Granted, I’m always down to try something like the next guy, but why modify a classic? After this meal, I definitely will be eating their phở as much as my own words. A great revision to the original! Thanks guys!

We’ve been there a handful of times because it’s the closest phở restaurant to home. Food is decent but service sucks. The last time we went we wrote our names on the list and stood waiting in the front. We(and another party of 2) weren’t acknowledged by anybody for at least 10 min despite the fact that waitresses were passing by to tend to their tables. Since there were 3 open tables, I went to the counter to ask if we could get seated. The guy said just write our names down and wait. I asked about the open tables and he said they were saving them in case a party of 4 came in. So greedy… We left, went to another phở restaurant just a couple miles away, got a nice big bowl for cheaper in less than a few min. They also have a fresh condiment bar. 5i lost some local customers for life.

Anyone who lives on the Westside knows that our Chinese food options are not only limited, but range from«pretty terrible» to «ok» in 90% of restaurants. While 5i has a little bit of the kitchen sink of Asian food options(Thai/Chinese/Vietnamese/Indonesian/Dim sum), it’s one of the better fast and simple Chinese/Asian food greatest hits food options in Culver City/Fox Hills. Located in a small strip mall, 5i isn’t going to win any awards for ambiance or be a place that you want to go on a date in the first couple months of your relationship. The interior is pretty modest, but that means you don’t need to dress up for a meal. It’s laid back. The service is quick. It’s usually pretty easy to get a table. For a spot with parking and plenty of Asian food options, that’s pretty good to me. While I usually get the Phở when I dine in(which I think is pretty decent, not better than Mama Hong’s in Brentwood, but it’s way closer to my place), my wife and I occasionally get take out from 5i as well. They’re open until 11PM and you can place a takeout order through Unilocal’s Eat24, which is really convenient! Whenever we take takeout of the Chinese food basics — chow mein, fried rice, mapo tofu, garlic shrimp, etc. — we’ve always been pretty happy with it! Even though they have plenty of other Asian food, it’s become one of our go to Chinese takeout spots because like Phở Show, they have better Chinese food than restaurants that only serve Chinese food. 5i doesn’t solve the Chinese food challenges of the Westside, but it certainly helps fight the good fight and is a good take out and simple dine-in option for Fox Hills and Culver City residents. Considering they have so many other Asian food favorites on the menu to help satisfy your Asian food cravings, they can’t be expected to do it alone!

Tried to order with this restaurant off Seamless. They require a $ 25 minimum for delivery, which is understandable so I ordered three entrees to meet the minimum and added tip on top of their $ 5.00 delivery fee(my order came to around $ 35.00 total). It went through on the app and I thought I was all set. Thirty minutes later, they called to tell me they wouldn’t deliver my order because their minimum of $ 25.00 was BEFORE taxes and delivery fee. I was apparently $ 2.00 shy, even though the app let me place the order. It didn’t matter to them that I had tipped on top of it all. Worse still, by the time they called, it was too late to make a new order some place else. I was sick and really needed some soup, and the other place I had considered ordering from had stopped delivering for the night. Needless to say, I won’t be ordering again.

I’ve been here a few times, and every time I’ve walked out satisfied. I enjoy the food, the staff is accomodating, and the dishes are tasty. The reason I give it three stars is not because of anything 5i does wrong, but mostly because it isn’t anything special. It delivers good, yet a little flavorless phở. The bun’s are good, they give you generous portions of rice, though the appetizers can be hit or miss. The steamed veggies with tofu are deliciously healthy and fresh. My dad thought the fried chicken wings were extremely tasty. We also ordered rhe chicken bao, which while I appreciated the light fluffy texture of the flour coating, the meat on the inside was a little lackluster. My dad always orders the phở ga, and while decent the chicken is always a tad over done and chewy. I ordered the buckwheat Tom yum phở, which had a great flavor but lacked the noodle component. Tonight I got the 5i spicy shrimp with broccoli. And it was so delicious!!! Highly recommended. So in a nutshell, 5i is a good standard but, it’s nothing wow tastic. I come here when I crave phở and don’t feel like driving out to Cerritos. It satisfies, but doesn’t blow your mind. Try it out! it won’t be a bad experience. In fact, it will be a rather tasty meal, easy on your pocket book, and it has plenty of options to satisfy multiple palates. But don’t expect to be mind blown. It’s good food at a reasonable price.

Ordering the blandest Bun Thit Nuong at a «Indonesian» restaurant could have been one of the poorest choices to make when cravings were at high peak. It should have been a warning when you see Chinese and Vietnamese food being served at a «Indonesian» restaurant. #154 — Charbroiled Shrimp Bun aka Bun Tom Nuong($ 8) — charbroiled shrimp, bean sprouts, lettuce, and vermicelli topped with ground peanuts. I had to ask for two sauce bowls to toss in my bowl and it was STILL bland. the only thing with flavor was the shrimp… on another note, the shrimp were small. I’d only come back to try the singapore noodles.

Tasty food! It’s centrally located within the area I frequent on my every day life — therefore I give it a 5 star for convenience. Although there is parking available right in front — it is challenging to find an empty spot –however don’t fret there is parking around the corner. This is the place that expects you to sit and relax and not be in a rush — aka for slow service. My favorite is the vegetable phở with chicken stock(for extra flavor).

No excuses anymore. Been long enough to get dialed in… Servers are beyond awful. …In every aspect. Those pictures are STILL crooked. My nail shop has better décor. Doesn’t that drive the workers crazy??? SOMEONE straighten them already! Better yet, throw them out and start over. And the lighting is harsh. In the Phở with everything — those«meat» balls — really scary. I love them at other phở places. Weird texture. Yuck. Egg drop soup tasted like water the other day. Never again. Gave my kids gift certificates. They FORCED them to use the full amount all at once. WTF? They *should* have just issued another GC in the remaining amount or I certainly wouldn’t have spent so much money. It was SUPPOSE to last them for quite a while… It’s like dumb and dumber in there. STILL no beer Sticking with Phở Sho from now on…

This is a great little neighborhood restaurant. I was worried that it wasn’t going to make it when it first opened, but it looks like they’ve found their place in the community with a loyal base of customers. The menu has a great variety of soups(phở), rice dishes, noodle dishes, and even dim sum options. Prices are reasonable, and portions are large.

3.5 Stars This is my go-to place mainly because it’s so close to work, and wait for it… they DELIVER! Everything is pretty good here, but my favorites are the Phở Tom(which is shrimp), Mongolian beef and the pad thai. They are not stingy with their servings so you get a lot for what you pay for and prices are very reasonable. If you are going to get the food delivered there is a $ 25 minimum and delivery charge is only $ 2.50. You should check this place out!

This is my go-to phở place on the westside(there needs to be more Vietnamese food where I live by the way). I get the regular size rare steak phở with buckwheat noodles($ 7.25 + $ 2.00 for the buckwheat noodles). Their broth tastes great and the Asian girl who works there(probably the manager) is always really sweet! I’ve had other servers here that weren’t all there in the head but I haven’t had any real issues with customer service here. It’s a good idea to take cash there if you’re eating alone because the minimum charge for credit cards is $ 10.00. My work orders food from their website through Eat24 all the time(their minimum delivery order is $ 25.00). I’ve been ordering the # 151 which is the Charbroiled Chicken Bun($ 7.00) and I am in looooveeeee! It has vermicelli noodles, charbroiled chicken, fresh veggies(bean sprouts and lettuce), ground peanuts and topped with a delicious fish sauce which isn’t overwhelmingly fishy. I recommend this place!
