Usually, I have been pretty happy with this location. It is a Denny’s and you can always expect it to be inexpensive, the food is pretty good, and it’s about the same no matter which one you go to. But my god the service today was awful. I’ve noticed before that the girls hosting in the front look like they hate their life and are dreading every minute of having to walk me to my table. What really got me, though, was that I had to ask my server five times for a water. Five! And I asked when I initially placed my order. My food came out and still no water. But I eventually got. And I know she was busy. It’s just like… damn. I’m really thirsty.

Service is horrible. We got ignore multiple times, my request for items so simple such as «a dessert menu» we ignored multiple times. Staff was rude and bluntly let us know they could care less about us or even being at work at all. We were visiting this restaurant from out of town after a beach day and I can tell you we will not be back on our next visit.

I’ve tried so many country fried steaks at so many different locations. Crazy to say, but this is the place to get the best one! also, their service is great too, they’re super friendly and always have a smile on their face. Thanks ladies for making my visit pleasant. :)

Denny’s is Denny’s. You can’t really get«excited» about it(unless it’s 2am and you’re drunk and want FOOD!) Came here at the end of the night on Halloween with a group of 7. All of us starving, of course. Although the service was not great(very slow and we waited a long time for a table), and place was kind of dirty, I give this place 3 stars because my food came out hot and hit the spot. I shared a grand slam with my sister with egg whites, wheat pancakes and hash browns and it was great! I will be back for that same meal one of these days!

Worst experience ever. Waitress called Taylor was super slow and she kept bringing the breakfast in small portions. She never checked on us and the breakfast took almost 30 mins to come out.

Server’s name is Kidist… after wiping counter and drying it(GOODJOB) but the napkins had strands of hair on it. MOSTDISGUSTING! Placed order at 11:34am…food arrived at 12:03pm. Too long to wait for food. After speaking with the manager, the food came rather quickly. Food was fresh hot and we’ll prepared. To our surprise… the manager comped the entire breakfast. Now that’s customer satisfaction at its best. Thanks Kidist & management.

Ate here last week. The manager was a complete idiot. I’m sitting there getting ready to eat and looked over at my right hand and what do I see? A TERMITE. I proceeded to flick it off my hand and was going to eat a french frie and what do I see again? ANOTHERTERMITE on the paper of my french frie basket! I asked the waitress to get me the manager. The manager came over and I showed her the insect I killed and explained the problem and she looked at me with this dumbfounded look like what should I do? She also questioned me as to whether it was from inside or outside, does it really matter? Really? Are you that young and dumb that you don’t know how to handle this situation? She asked if I would like some new fries. I said yes. I said can you give me a discount? She did, but I started talking to the lady I was with and she said normally the right thing to do would be to give you a free meal. They didn’t seem that concerned with the issue, maybe if I call the health department they might be more interested about the issue! Addendum: I was reading another guy’s review and I do agree that their attention to the customers is very poor … they talk amongst themselves or they at one point were all completely missing in action up front. It took forever to get the food and I had to ask/remind the waitress numerous times for refills on the drink because apparently she couldn’t remember. Also one of the employees went to get something out of her purse and placed it on the food counter where people eat. The lady I was with commented on this and thought it was totally disgusting and very unsanitary.

Awesome location! This was my first time visiting this particular Denny’s location, and this place was just remodeled with great interior décor. Food is same as Denny’s anywhere, but we received great service and the newly renovated fixtures are really nice. Came here with my coworkers and there was a wheel for their grand reopening that we got to spin for prizes. We had a lot of fun spinning it and the girl helping us(might have been the manager) was very pleasant and it really made our experience here a great one. I’m not sure if there’s a new owner for this location(is Denny’s even franchised?) but it seems like this place has had a total overhaul, definitely deserves a higher rating now then what their current rating suggests.

I have never been to a Denny’s that had more crappy service than this one. It was NOT crowded and our waitress took a very long time to come take our order. We got there at 8 and didn’t leave til 9! We had to leave and our waitress didn’t give us the check so I went to go to the counter to pay– and the cashier looked at me like«I can’t check you out cause idk who your waitress is» after getting the check, they tried to charge me for the birthday grand slam! Not worth my time to go back there, thankfully I’m only visiting the area and I’m not a local.

I honestly wanted to like this Denny’s because it’s right around the corner from my place. We came here last night for some late takeout after a long day of studying. Our food took around 20 minutes and would have been longer had we not asked. We actually saw that the bag was ready for us, but they seemingly forgot or just wasn’t paying attention. –_– I was going to write it off as 3 stars after that, BUT… and this is a big BUT – they were missing one of my sides! I got my usual country fried steak n eggs(around $ 10+) and instead of the toast I wanted extra mashed potatoes which was fine by the guy taking my order… but lo and behold, I did not get toast or any extra mashed potatoes and basically paid close to $ 12 for something worth $ 7. At that point I was already home and couldn’t be bothered going back, so I ate my food and shrugged it off, convincing myself that mashed potatoes weren’t good for my diet anyways. T. T

So I decided to come here for breakfast with my mom for breakfast and as we walk in the«Host(MONICA) «who obviously didn’t want to be bothered finally looked up and acknowledged that we were here. she rolled her eyes and then proceeded to sit us in the back portion of the restaurant. [ also let me mention that this has to be one of the most run down Denny I’ve been too EVER, the booths looks horrible the seats are torn exposing the form the carpets look like they haven’t been cleaned in forever and everything is sticky as hell! Let me just add never is it okay to walk up to someone and start speaking to a customer in Spanish(assuming that I speak Spanish which I don’t) So out waitress marisol walks up to the table and says you ready?!(I mean common Denny’s Management I was a server at Ihop in college and I know for a fact they have to train these folks on the dos and don’t!) she proceeds to take our order and her CELLPHONE starts ringing! Man this place has gone to the dogs over the years. Back in the 90s this dennys was awesome, the service was beautiful and you were treated like royalty, now it is completely opposite of that. I now live in Culver City and have been here various times within the past three years and trust me its not the same. Man the service has gotten terrible, takes a long time for you to get seated and when you do get seated it takes a while for them to respond to any of your needs. Idk what happened to customer service but here it doesn’t exist. The last time I went a lady was mad because she called her order in an hour before amd when she got there the order wasn’t ready so she asked for her money back. After that experience idk if I want to come back.

Birthday freebie on your birth day, why not. Friendly service. Got seated right away although waitress got distracted and took awhile to come back to take our order. I enjoyed their hashbrowns and hubby liked their fluffy pancakes(better than IHOP). Again it took 20mins to get waitress’s attention to get our check. Still left her a tip since she was nice. But would have appreciated prompt service.

Denny’s is Denny’s, I love the ultimate skillet, our waitress is very nice and friendly, this Denny’s is pretty big, good location lots of lighting, great for kids n so affordable they even have a $ 2. Marisol our waitress was nice. I had the southwest skillet substituted chorizo for bacon. It was hot how I like my food. Long wait but it’s Sunday, no biggie. Good for a quick Denny’s breakfast.

Let’s just call this«Dirty Denny’s.» The waiting area floor is sticky and scuffed, carpet near the booths is dingy and old, and for bonus points I got a glass with someone else’s LIPSTICKS on it. All the employees appear to be — and act like — high schoolers. Dropping audible F bombs in the central kitchen space. My salad was meh — the French toast looked passable. The real question is: how desperate are you for a sleepwalker special? Two words for this place: Never again!
