I LOVE THEIR SALADS! Great for lunch.
This is a cafeteria style eating establishment adjacent to the parking lot at the mall. Enter on the Slauson side and park anywhere except the section in front of Macy’s.
The chicken is flame broiled and delicious. There are a bunch of home-​style sides to choose from. Think mashed potatoes, yams, veggies. I can’t speak on any of them due to my love affair with the salads.
When you walk in, you grab a tray. A very nice staff member will ask you what you want. Salads are made to order. I get the Chopped Salad. They take a piece of their yummy chicken and douse it with BBQ sauce. Then they cut it with a big cleaver. They put ample amounts of lettuce in a silver bowl, then you get to choose your toppings. It’s not extensive, but you can choose from carrots, green onions, croutons, avocado (extra $ 1), etc. You can then choose from basic dressings. I get the ranch. They toss it up for you and put it in a to go container.
My partner in crime loves the Cesar salad. So it’s the same thing, minus the BBQ sauce and the ranch. They also give you some yummy garlic bread too. He doesn’t eat it so I get to double up!
It’s about $ 6 per salad. Fresh and delicious!
There are cafeteria style booths to eat here if you want to. Sorry I can’t speak on anything besides the salad but they are grub-​a-​licious and keep me coming back time and time again!
