Never got around to reviewing… Cancelled on a large event we hold in Culver City every year for seniors. The first cancel, they just didn’t show up. The second cancel, they notified us the day prior. Not reliable. Will never use them again.

I am all about Green, hey I am a vegetarian advocate but geeze was the owner of the food truck Kam a sour grape. He seemed like one of those«i made it big and I way too cool to deal with you minions» type of fellow. It clearly shows in this videos and in person its def a fail in my books. Green is good but pompous attitude is a major 0 Star for me!

Exceedingly slow. Ran out out ¾ of their menu, in addition to running out of ingredients for the remaining items. Asked if I wanted a substitute of beef or chicken instead of avocado, in a vegan salad.

This was one of my go-to’s at my old job, where Green Truck would frequently stop by. Pretty pricey for food truck food tbh, but their Superfood bowl is addictively delicious — I think it’s the cashew dressing! Sometimes I’ll add chicken, but the bowl by itself is pretty filling. I’ve tried a few of their other menu items, but I would stick to the superfood bowl!

I was at the Long beach vegan food festival yesterday and there were at least 20 places to eat at. I chose this one and felt meh right after. I got the chipotle veggie burger and it was good, but it was dry and bland for the most part. Buns were plain, spring mix lettuce, tomato, and chipotle sauce. I imagined it to be more warm and juicy I guess, but when I got it, it was pretty much semi reheated. My sweet potato chips were stale :( it was eh. Good enough, but I would’ve much rather spend 15 bucks elsewhere.

I gave this truck a try at the Vegan Festival in Long Beach and am sorry I did. The burger was pre-made and reheated, tasteless and dry. The sweet potato rounds were pretty good, but not much better than a bag of chips. The prices were absurdly inflated. One thin burger and these glorified chips ran me 17 bucks. Next time, I’ll save my money for a better vendor.

They care about the planet … By serving organic but don’t care about people on the road!!! This a-hole cut me off on the frwy by bullying his big truck in between me and another small car, cutting me off on the freeway. Douche!!!

Was a bit worried about trying out this truck. After all, it’s healthy… so how good could it be? Turns out, really good. Tried their Grass-Fed Chipotle Cheese Burger. Now the difference here was there was no cheese in the traditional sense, but rather Cheese Grilled Onions. Now, we’re talking. This really elevated the burger overall. Didn’t hurt the beef was juicy, but not too much, and the ‘artisinal’ bun(I’m guessing brioche) really helped. If anything, I’d like more Chipotle sauce, but at least it wasn’t super-messy. Their Chicken Pesto is also really good served on ciabatta. Again, great flavor mainly from the pesto sauce. Sides were another story. Sweet Potato Rounds(chips) were dull and flavorless. I might have been eating paper instead of potatoes. The Superfood salad, while a great idea on paper(which I wouldn’t eat in this case) was a lumpy mess. The texture turned me off. Might have been the avocado but I’m not sure. But the sandwiches are so good, it’s the reason I’d return here. Maybe I’d just find another truck for some(not-so-healthy) sides.

Let’s just say nothing was organic about this truck! I was at a carnival and came across this food truck. Figured a healthy alternative so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich on a bed of mixed greens well done. Chicken was undercooked so I sent it back. Within just under a minute the same chicken I took a bite out of was handed back to me. They didn’t swap out the mixed greens that the undercooked chicken came in contact with. Yuck! The food container was smothered in grease and avocado. After further inspection it looked rather dirty. Mixed greens were bitter and not fresh. $ 13 later And a hungry tummy I should have just bought a churro!

Don’t work for green truck they don’t pay you what they owe you checks always short and the accountant Andrea can’t even add they shorted me on there all my hours I made them give me a read out for my hours because it was so off to my shock Hours were missing but even worse they shorted all the rates 9 hours were 7.25 I asked her what the heck is that about and she said that green truck is responsible for it she didn’t even give me the right hourly pay ! Fraud ! Illegal it’s been 3 months I still have got my check. They have no gloves or hats when they cook and serve the Fresca they make sure stick you hand in a bucket of juice w a cup ! Which the ice and bucket are filthy ! the way they treat there employees is horrible I worked my fanny off and they screwed me out of 300.00 or more of money and that’s just a part of it

Worst company I have ever worked for. I worked there as a cook and most of their products are not even organic and are not even stored properly according to health standards. The trucks break down too often and employees get hurt on the job and the owners don’t even care. I worked there long hours and only got half of my pay. SLAVEDRIVERS ! They mistreat their employees and are not professional. Whoever has same complaints join with me to file a complaint with the labor board

They get 5 stars for food, but the cost and credit card surcharge bring them down. I had the quinoa and kale bowl with chicken and my husband had the pale bowl. Both were superb and my chicken was cooked perfectly. But, for this meal, no drinks, it was $ 37.00!!! Plus, 50 cents for using a cc. I hate it when merchants pass that charge on to customers. To get 5 stars, you gotta have the whole package. $ 37 for this was the much.

You guys rented your truck out for a pharmaceutical ad(«Jardiance»)? This doesn’t seem to match your professed philosophy. I think I’ll get me organic elsewhere.

They illegally add a surcharge to use your card. I will be filing a report with VISA/MC. California has a law, California Civil Code section 1748.1, that prohibits retailers from adding a surcharge when a consumer chooses to use a credit card instead of paying by cash.

I buy food from food trucks hesitantly because my office building has a different food truck each day and, more often than, they not disappoint. Yesterday, I was really in the mood for a turkey burger and Green Truck offered one for $ 12, which seemed a tad pricey for something I did not know the quality of in advance(that’s life I guess). Nevertheless, I ordered the turkey burger. It was phenomenal. Not salty. Not tasteless. Not dry. Simply excellent on every level. The other thing I did not expect were the sweet potato«rounds» — a cross between a sweet potato fry and a potato chip — that came with the turkey burger. Let me just say that these«rounds» were somehow as good if not better than many sweet potato fries I’ve had. I hope this truck comes back to Wilshire & Bundy soon.

Superfood bowl is so yummy and satisfying and you can feel good about eating clean! It’s a big portion of greens, black beans, quinoa, goji berries, avocado and cashew dressing. Goji berries are a nice touch, they add a contrasting texture to the otherwise consistent more mushy texture. The cashew dressing is suuuper creamy and tastes like there’s a bit of soy sauce flavor in it? Really good. Love that they gave me like an entire avocado that was perfectly ripe. The guy taking orders was also super sweet and helpful about answering questions.

First visit today, so take this for what it’s worth. I had ordered the Turkey Burger. I skipped the Rounds(sweet potato chips) because I didn’t want to shell out the extra $ 3. The burger was $ 12 which is a bit high, but then again the kitchen drove to me, so there’s some value in that. The burger was delicious, and the cook threw in some chips for free. Both he and the lady taking orders we kind and attentive. There was no line and my food was ready in about 5 minutes. Now back to the burger. It was a decent size. I asked for a cover for my plate, as I had to walk a few blocks back to my office. The burger was so tall that I had to really squeeze it down to fit inside with the cover. That’s a good thing. The burger was about 4 inches tall, kind of like you see in the burger chain commercials on TV, but never really get at the restaurant. The burger was juicy, sauce tasty, and the bun(brioche) was fluffy. The bonus was the piece of bacon on top. I didn’t see that on the menu, but it was a nice addition. I will definitely give them another visit next time they are around.

I’m usually not a fan of organic and vegetarian food. it usually lacks flavor and I like flavor. However, The Green Truck surpassed all my expectations. Disclaimer: I almost didn’t eat at this truck. I noticed that they had been checked by the health department the day before and got a B rating. REDFLAG! But I figured I’d give it a shot because food truck alley is all these asian fusions and I need some variation in my life. Got the Kale Yeah bowl… soooooo good. $ 10.50 total. It’s $ 4 to add protein but decided against it this time. The flavors were seriously amazing. That sauce they put on there is like crack(my best guess is it’s a yogurt, tahini, garlic sauce). I just felt like that bowl went together so well, and it wasn’t just a mix of random ingredients. 5⁄5 for a great healthy lunch

I passed the truck on my way home and decided to make a somewhat legal U-turn to check it out. I am pretty open when it comes to cusine, I dabble as a vegetarian tired being a vegan and now fall somewhere in the middle of chicken/fish/veggies depending on what my body craves. Ordered the«Mother Trucker» vegan burger. The thought of vegan mayo almost redirected my entire order soooo glad it didn’t! The sandwich was great, soft bun, fresh lettuce and the patty should be proprietary. Washed it down with the cilantro lime fresca mmmmm. Thank you for the culinary delight and that side of sweet potato chips ;). Service was personalized too great touch for a food truck and the sustainability behind it makes it even better.

I use to be employed by these people so i decided to stop by the truck and grub a salad to go just to show up my face since after thousands of phone calls and different attempts to make contact with the ownership they still didn’t pay me properly neither calling me back!(19 months past by!) Food was just insulting, horrible, old kale, dirty bowl, way overpriced and a lot of attitude! Since they recharge is 300 times the cost of the ingredients why they don’t pay their employees? Horrible experience all around. Poor customer service, nasty attitude, under average food, overpriced and zero work ethic! Oprah should know more about them… let’s see if she still gonna like it!

It’s been a looooong time since I’ve had The Green Truck so I was super excited to spot them in Long Beach’s version of Ciclovía, dubbed Beach Streets. Oh gosh… I just looked at my last review for The Green Truck. Has it really been 5 years since I’ve had their delicious vegan burger??? Believe me, I’ve tried to track them down since then but I’m not very good at chasing food trucks. As tempting as it was to order the vegan burger again, I recently opted for the Kale Yeah Bowl. I mean, the name itself is just awesome! The portion of massaged kale, raw mushrooms, quinoa, shredded beets and shredded carrots was way more than I could eat in one serving. While the fresh veggies were tasty on its own, the creamy goddess dressing just made it addicting. It’s the kind of dressing that makes you shamelessly wanna lick the inside of the bowl. It’s that good! But I also appreciate that it wasn’t swimming in dressing. It was just the right amount! One last thing that super impressed me was how quickly my order arrived. When the container appeared in the window, I thought it belonged to the person next to me. Nope… they were trying to hand it to me. Whoa, they just handed me my change. They’re handing me my order too? …awww Kale Yeah! ;D
