Elgin is cool guy and several of the other staff too but there is one particular lady that seems to dislike me for some reason. she really gives me an attitude every time I go there and it is now getting on my nerves .I don’t want to post her name, because I wish no one any harm, but she need to change her attitude and show customers more respect .it is like she works for the post office or DMV

The people nice here, just don’t like bitter acrid coffee. If you haven’t been and forgot why its like sewer water. I can go anywhere for tea, boiling water and a bag. Coffee is suppose to an an adventure one sip here and its a high colonic. Bathroom was clean.

OMG! I love most of the staff here! Most… there’s the surly R.B.F. girl that clearly hates every one and has practiced keeping her tone even and measured… but she definitely HATES you. ELGIN is rad. I miss Alex. I really enjoy when I can bring treats to these guys. You will notice, like many other Starbucks, «Prairie Dogging» … after hours of free refills, hogging the wifi bandwidth watching TED Talks instead of looking for jobs… it’s time! The camper will look about… they will assess the safety of their Mac… they may chirp a bit to the neighbors… and they will skitter to the restroom for about 10 minutes. Parking sucks here. The music is usually good. I have heard Goldfrapp several times here!

The coffee and staff at this location are just fine. They also have plenty of outdoor seating, as this location is part of Culver Crossroads, a cluster of restaurants, gym, bank, etc. The problem is every morning when we come to enjoy a cup of coffee, we like to sit outside. Without fail, the maintenance man is walking around with a gas-powered leaf blower, kicking up dust and debris, with complete disregard for the people sitting outside. Here’s what you experience at this Starbucks: Why bother prohibiting cigarette smoking if you allow this foul smelling piece of equipment to be operated next to customers?

I stopped here after lunch to get my first gingerbread latte of the season. I ordered a venti, was asked if I want whipped cream, and said yes. However, I wish I would have said no because after the whipped cream melted, it was only ¾ full! I had only taken one sip. When you pay $ 5.75 for a latte, you expect better than that.

This is my go to spot for breakfast in the morning. This location usually has tons of parking. The employees are very pleasant and seem to like their job. They also make my drink and morning scone perfectly every time. The busy times are 7⁄8 in the morning or 5⁄6 in the evening. Keep up the good work guys.

This is my neighborhood spot! The location is convenient and there is usually plenty of parking(caution: 5⁄6 o’clock hour gets pretty crowded with people getting dinner). The employees are very friendly and remember my name! They also make my drink perfectly every time! The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because it’s hard to get a good spot to settle down. You have to figure out the best times to go to get a seat, and then deal with people staring at you to see if you’re going to be leaving any time soon. This is a common problem at all Starbucks but I suggest they expand this one!

This Starbucks is in a high traffic, new, trendy corner plaza with other food places like Pei Wie, Jersey Mike’s, Chipotle, Holy Cow(BBQ) … etc. Maybe the flow of customers is too much for this Starbucks team? I ordered my favorite Honey Green Tea Frappuccino(the sugar syrup they normally pump into a tea frapp is replaced with honey). This Starbucks told me(after I’d paid and was waiting for my drink) that they wouldn’t make it … even claiming it was corporate policy not to make it because it meant opening 6 honey packets and they wouldn’t. The barista even tried handing me the honey packets telling me I could put them in my drink, myself. How the heck can you blend honey into a frozen frappuccino??? This is a drink I easily get at other Starbucks. And heck … if they don’t want to open 6 little honey packets, why not just have honey in a squeeze bottle? I gave up and switched my drink … and left very disappointed. They get points because despite how busy they are … it was clean.

Black iced coffee and pumpkin bread is my usual. Order correct first time, two of the cashier’s are still leading the P.O.System. so some patience would be advised.

As much as I love Starbucks, I really try to avoid coming to this location on weekday mornings. The line here at 9:30am is similar to a Black Friday event at Best Buy. I spend nearly 30 – 35 minutes for one simple order. On the weekends, the staff works fast and keeps the line moving. You have friendly and polite people run though here. There are some«cranky» ones that like to stir up a commotion every blue moon but they’re just eager to get their fix just like the rest of us, lol. If you have the time, it’s a very interesting spot to sit and people watch. If you’re there with your laptop, trying to get work done… forget about it. There’s too much funny going on that will cause a distraction. I like to sometimes come here on Saturday mornings and witness all the eccentricity that goes on here, lol.

We came in here last night around 9:30pm to get a drink and chat before they closed at 10:30pm. The drinks were fine, but around 9:50pm, a worker started putting up chairs on top of all unoccupied tables as if they would be closing in a few minutes. It was very uncomfortable and made the patrons feel like they were being rushed out. Then the guy proceeded to spray a very offensive chemical and started mopping the floor. The smell was unbearable and being pregnant, I definitely did not want to be breathing down the fumes. I understand workers cleaning up at the end of the day, but come on 40 minutes before close? I will not be coming back here.

Not enough indoor seating. Couldn’t find a seat and had to sit outside which isn’t fun on this cold rainy night… But that typically doesn’t happen in southern CA… So I guess it’s fine. Thanks for the yummy cappuccino

Easy parking in the lot unless it’s morning or lunch crunch time. I usually do the 20-min parking, quite convenient to run in and grab to go. Hubby & I both had birthday treats to redeem. I got a yummy brown rice salad & he got a Venti Tiramisu latte. Love this location in our neighborhood. Oh and they have Happy Mondays in March 2−5pm! Check out uploaded pic for deets — enjoy! ^_^

I love this Starbucks even though it can get a little busy at times. Our favorite barista is Manny Guillen. He goes out of his way to make sure our drinks are exactly as we like them and he is always smiling. The manager is also really nice and comes a very close second! They are only reason we keep coming back to this location because some of the other baristas are less than pleasant!

This Dude Gave Me A Very Poor Starbucks Customer No Good Experience Today! I had a $ 60.00 gift card to use and decided to walk into this specific local store in order to Transfer The Money that I had saved from my Debit Card on to my Gold Card and so when I got there, I asked one of their male cashiers if it was possible to do so and he said Yes! However, he did Transfer The Money on to my Gold Card, but when I ordered a Frappuccino Drink, he asked me what name I go by for the order and I said«Paul» since that is my middle name which was given to me by my sister when I was born who named me after«Paul McCartney» from«The Beatles». In any case, your male cashier was Offended that I preferred to use that name for my order and could Not Understand Why I was using that name(Like It Was Any Of His Business!). Furthermore, during the transaction, I also decided to Purchase My Very First Starbucks Mug and asked him a question about whether the Mug was Dishwasher Safe or Not? He Refused to Answer My Question and told ME that«I Am Asking Too Many Questions» and stated to ME the following: «Why should I bother telling You anything since You are Not Even Using Your Real Name»(which was Not True) and You can be just anybody since You chose to use the name of «Paul» and How Do I Really Know That«Paul»(which is My Middle Name) is the SAME Person who is on the«Gold Card»? I was Extremely Angry and Offended by his Very Poor Manners, Unprofessionalism, Strange Beliefs and Reasoning that was All Displayed Towards ME. Never have I ever come across a Starbucks Employee who degraded ME in the Disgusting and Filthy Manner as he had just did to ME! Originally, I was going to enjoy my drink in the store while working on my laptop, however, your Male Cashier left ME with a Very Poor Taste In My Mouth, Bad Memory and Terrible Starbucks Experience and so I decided to Leave The Store Immediately and File A Complaint with Your Customer Service Department at 800−782−7282. Last, but Not Least, Your Male Cashier was Not Only Unprofessional with«No Manners» and«NO Customer Service Etiquette» or «Customer Service Experience», but he also«Violated» a «Starbucks Employee Policy» which is if a Customer buys something with their Credit or Debit Card and Signs The Receipt, then he is supposed to Keep The Signed, Original Receipt for the Store Manager and Provide The Customer with just a Copy. Well, this Bimbo gave ME back Not one receipt, but Five Receipts, including the One With My Original Signature on it in which I have already Scanned On To My Computer for future reference. For Your Information, I am Now going to Provide You With Some Vital Information That I Have Taken Off From The Receipts For Your Further Review. My Final Thoughts: I Honestly Do Not know Who Hired This Male Cashier to Represent Starbucks, but I Personally Would Not Keep Somebody Like That Representing My Company In The Poor Manner That He Did and I Prefer To Take My Business Elsewhere Where I Can Be Properly Treated As A Customer! PS: I Guess I Just Put Down $ 60.00 Dollars On To My Gold Card For«Nothing»!

As I stood in line contemplating a bagel or a cookie, my wife shrieked as a small roach crawled out of the vent in the display case and proceeded to climb towards the muffins. I decided against ordering a danish. My wife told the barista about the insect in the case. To his credit, he immediately got to work throwing out half of the pastries(the other half were far enough away from roach I guess) and vacuuming out the case. I guess they’re used to this happening and know what to do. Unfortunately, in the confusion the other barista took the person behind us in line before us as kind of a «if you want me to take care of roaches, I guess I won’t wait on you then» thank you. My wife’s drink was way too sweet. I’m already not a big fan of Starbucks but I kind of don’t want to order food from any of them again.

I enjoy this Starbucks, it’s a great location, the business plaza it’s located in is optimal for the area. The seating outside is nice and kept clean, all the tables and chairs are in working condition and not bent or rusted. The displays and products are kept up to date inside, new merchandise, equipment and so forth. The atmosphere is appealing and inviting-which I can’t say for most Starbucks, I usually grab my coffee and run for the door on the account of noise level, however this one can still have a crowd and the environment still feels welcoming. I’ve had no issues with the staff and for the most part all are accommodating. In all a good experience for the chain house of coffee drinkers. I do wish they would lower their prices for their«evolution» juices.

I’m a fan of this location for the most part, although they are pretty hesitant about doing pour overs. I know you can do a pour over, don’t play like you just don’t have the coffee. They usually have a line but move it through very quickly. Pretty on par with Starbucks, friendly staff, clean restaurant.
