I had issues with my iphone5 battery so I went here to replace it. They replaced it with new battery but I didn’t see any difference. I went back again thinking of any hardware issue with my phone but they said everything looks good and no issue with phone or battery where as the new battery they replaced discharging in just 4 hours even though I am not using my mobile. It is giving me 1 hour talk time once it is fully charged. Long story short, they are unable to find out the exact issue whether it is a phone or battery problem.

Fixed my LCD screen for my iPhone 6 and made my phone look brand new! The tech was someone who actually knew what he was doing. This is not a store that does terrible work and take your money they are actually legit! Right in the heart of Culver City!

Marlene was very helpful and full of great knowledge. Not only did the tech representative fix my phone fast but he also did a great job replacing my cracked screen for a new one. I’m glad T-mobile referred me to Toda Tech.

Friendly staff that fixed my broken iPhone screen in no time. The prices are really great and the location and hours are very convenient. Plus, they didn’t mind my three-year-old running around the store!

Apple just pulled apart my phone and showed me how jacked up of a job these guys did, with the belief that it was intentionally done in such a way to require me to come back to them for repeat repairs by making it look like it was my fault it would keep breaking. Under Apple Care nothing can be done once a third party alters the phone. These guys represent the crooked side of doing business and they deserve to be boycotted, ATLEAST. 1st visit: screen replaced, one day later showing signs of popping out of the frame just slightly. Within a week there was discoloration in the corners. Two weeks later it shattered from a light fall in case because it’d been coming out so far from the edges. 2nd visit: I went back to them and demanded my cash back, and they responded with the worst hostility I’ve ever experienced from a business. They claim no warranty, and that my phone’s battery was swelling by Apple’s fault. They made me pay for the part to install, which I did because I was desperate with a broken phone. Apple has confirmed that the battery wasn’t swelling, and they showed a metal plate which these assholes wedged into my phone to cause it to break. They unscrewed and stole Apple’s original equipment that was keeping my screen securely in place originally. Do not let these guys get their dirty hands on your phone. They need to go out of business for the sake of people looking for an honest repair shop that does quality work.

Updating my review.(9−22−15) Went back to Toda and they fixed it! I waited several days before updating the review to make sure it’s really been fixed, and it has. The mystery typing, shaking screen, and other bizarre behavior is gone. I have my phone back! Thank you. (Original Review) Went here because close to work and amazing reviews. Life is busy and I wanted a no hassle place that would get it done right the first time. Unfortunately, they did replace my broken screen but it’s never worked right since. I tested it in the store and it had a couple of problems typing letters but they looked at it and I tried again and it worked fine. Now, several times a day, the phone has a mind of its own. It will just start typing letters, opening applications, or just become plain unresponsive. This all started the day I got my phone back and hadn’t ever happened before. Sometimes I can fix this for a little while by locking the screen then unlocking it. But that’s rare. Sometimes it’s fixed by shutting the phone off and restarting. Sometimes there’s no fix. It will type numbers on its own and randomly open applications without stop. The only thing to do is lock the screen and pray to the phone gods that it’s stopped when I unlock the screen. Sometimes the gods are pleased and smile upon me and sometimes not. It goes through phases when it really is unusable. At this point. I wish I’d followed my friend’s advice and gone to the store they recommended. Now I will… at this point I’ve made peace with the fact that I’ll have to pay to fix the screen twice.

Fast service and excellent customer service! I took my iphone 5 to Toda Tech. The lady at the front desk was very nice and personable. She stated that it would be an hour wait. Since it was hot outside, i sat down inside and played games on my ipad. I don’t think a ½ hour went before my phone was ready. The gentleman that fixed my phone was really nice. He let me know that i will need to replace to battery soon and why. I would most definitely recommend Toda Tech to everyone i know.

I’m not one to immediately repair a phone if I break the thing. If the phone works, even partially, thats good enough to continue working. I dropped my phone a month ago in a parking lot and shattered the screen and destroyed the home button. Luckily iPhone has a virtual home button you can enable under Accessibility in general settings. This worked a while. Until this morning when I woke up and found a dead iphone that would not turn on or accept charge. I did what most millenials do, I went straight to Google. The Iphone store’s soonest appointment was Saturday and I needed my phone repaired TODAY, as the iphone is a critical piece to my work. I went to the next best thing: Groupon and found a cell phone repair deal with SocalDeal(Toda Tech? The name thing is confusing guys) and I drove 3 miles to see them. Mind you I was lacking a phone so I wrote directions down on a piece of paper and trusted my self to navigate there successfully. I found parking in a neighborhood behind the shop and walked in to a smiling woman behind the counter. We quickly assessed and discussed the necessary repairs and after a brief negotiation we came to an agreement to repair the phone screen, home button and charge port for $ 100 — Fantastic! I used to work with livingsocial and I know that merchants split the voucher cost with the company so if you mention the groupon voucher you saw you can often pay cash for the services directly to the merchant without buying the groupon voucher — and the merchant appreciates that. The Anyway, 1 hour later I returned and Fred had repaired the phone completely new! Fred did mention that the iphone touch sensor in the button was no longer working because of the previous damage I had caused and I appreciated the integrity and honesty in that moment he displayed. That won me over. I will be returning to this shop the next time my phone goes haywire. Toda Tech gets the job done at the right price, quickly, and with integrity! Two thumbs up

I had just broken my brand new iPhone 6… water damage… I was sure it was totally ruined. I went to the AT&T store to find out if there was anything they could do. They turned the phone back on, and then the screen got lines and everything shut down. They told me it was too bad, and I would have to buy a brand new one since water damage is not covered. I was so mad, and really didn’t want to spend $ 650 for another new phone! I left AT&T and found Toda Tech, and I am so glad I did! The first thing they did was take my sim card out and provide me with a temporary phone free of charge. I was so grateful just to be able to receive and make calls again. They told me water damage was tough, and the chances weren’t great, but they were willing to take a look at it and would keep me posted. A few hours later they called and said there were an 80% chance they could fix it, but it would take about 2 days. They gave me a fair quote(under $ 100.00) and said if they couldn’t fix it, there would be no charge. I was so excited that they said there was a chance, and I was so grateful I at least had a temporary phone in the meantime. A day later I called to check on the progress, and they said things looked really good and I could come by before close and pick up my phone. Just as promised, the cost was under $ 100.00, and everything was fixed fast and professionally. They told me water damage is really tricky, and just to bring it back if anything else happened, but I might have gotten lucky. I can’t believe I was about to spend $ 650 on a new phone! Do yourself a favor, and please try Toda Tech even if you think your phone is really ruined. They work miracles! They were able to save my iPhone 6 from water damage(and it was really really broken). They were really nice and I highly recommend them! I will never go anywhere else if I have a problem in the future. Thank you!
